    just copied the harmoniser script to ChartGTP . Asked it to analyse then asked it to add additional transposition and velocity
    I almost bust into tears with emotion .......it worked

      I haven't had luck with creating new scripts from scratch, but perhaps that's the best way to do it. Use an existing script, and revise it with Chat GPT. Thanks for the tip.

      May I ask, what transposition and velocity features did you add to the Harmonizer script? I want to try this with Chat GPT myself!

    Hey my man! I’ve been wanting to get into Logic Pro for a while now but all I have is an iPad. So I was stoked to hear Apple announce that they’re launching a full iPad version! Do you plan to make any content around that? Tutorials? Similarities and differences between the iPad and Mac versions? Keep up the awesome work!!

      Yes, I will be making some content around Logic Pro for iPad. Check back on the 23rd when the app is released!

    Great stuff! I’d only ever used the Guitar Strummer but the embellished drum kit features are something I’ll definitely use. The probability features are built into most other vendor VST drum instruments, but I never really thought about using it in Logic as a midi FX. Really, I’m not a fan of varying drums or notes with probability, but it has become a standard midi parameter in lots of 3rd party VSTi’s.

    I‘ll probably stay a beginner in Logic for the rest of my life compared to master Josh. Very interesting topic which I had no idea of. I think the „drum“-scripted could be sth. for me to start with. But they’re all very interesting. Well, I think Logic Pro is the app with the best price-performance ratio of all products existing.
    Thanks a lot for this module!

    Hi Josh, thank you so much for another awesome video! Out of curiosity, how many videos do you expect (or know) you will make to complete this series? I hope they keep coming :)

    • @MusicTechHelpGuy
      @MusicTechHelpGuy  Год назад +5

      I'm about done with the MIDI portion of the course. I have about 10 more for MIDI, then I'll move onto advanced audio recording and editing, Flex Time, Flex Pitch, etc. Then mixing. So it will be around 100 parts long when it's all done. I always want to do some tutorials breaking down each plugin and instrument, as well as Live Loops, so that may extend the course even further. But not sure if I'm going to put all of that under the "Ultimate Guide" though.

      @@MusicTechHelpGuy If you really go through all the different plugins and instruments, that would make the guide 'ultimate' as in 'complete'. So why not keep them in the series :) I think that'd be great and I'm looking forward to all you mentioned!

    • @MusicTechHelpGuy
      @MusicTechHelpGuy  Год назад

      It should, as long as the third party drum kit follows the GM drum map. C1 for kick, D1 for snare, etc.

    I have new version of logic pro X. I’m using an apogee duet and on the mixer I can see that audio input is working but when I record tracks there’s no audio on the tracks. Please help. What am I missing?? Record enable is activated etc. I don’t know why I can see that the apogee duet is getting the audio into logic but logic won’t record the audio. When I record the track change color like they’re recording but then there is no audio. Help!!!

      Scripter is there, but you cant edit the presets (it is the Apple default presets). So what I want to know now, is it possible to transport a own made Scripter preset from Mac to iPad?

    Howdy, really need some assistance if at all possible on something in Logic. I’m sure this was covered in another video, so hoping someone can just point me in the right direction. So, I have a mix I’m working on, and I want to export everything (MIDI and audio tracks) to send to someone else using a different DAW to work on and mix themselves. So I want to send them everything raw so they can start from scratch. I’m essentially looking for the most proficient and simplest way possible. Do I need to zero all the knobs, pan everything center, turn off all plugins, what about tempos and time sig changes, etc.? I’m sure there’s a efficient way to do it. Any help would be appreciated.

    • @MusicTechHelpGuy
      @MusicTechHelpGuy  Год назад +1

      Your best option is to export all tracks. File > Export > Export All Tracks as audio files. In the dialog that pops up you can bypass all plugins, so this will get rid of any effects on the channels, and then you can also make sure that "volume/pan automation" is NOT included, this will automatically set the volume and pan to default for export. Maybe I'll make a quick tip video on this soon!

    • @oh515

      @@MusicTechHelpGuy I have only tried on GPT-4. It gives a detailed explanation of how to implement the script. And I do always ask GPT to help we with the ideas. Else it will often make “false” scripts only for pleasing my wishes. So I ask through the whole process. What is possible, or how to best solve the issues?
      If it won't work anyway, I ask it to find and solve any problems. But it's true, I have still scripts with bugs. It may be me who insists on impossible tasks. Because for GPT everything is possible if you just write “do this” or “make that.”
      But I do also use scripts from the presets in the plugin (scripter) for troubleshooting both for me and GPT.
      Anyway, my best tip is that you should ask GPT for its “opinion” in every step. And always paste in the last code before troubleshooting, modification, or upgrades. If not it can start to blend in elements from earlier versions in the chat. It's pretty delicate.
