    hey! you can also bounce a pattern track in place as audio and use it as input rather than creating an auxilary-bus input. Find the "bounce in place" option in the context-menu (right click) when selecting a track.

    You can bounce in place the midi region to have it as an audio and use sidechain. A bit faster.

    Its easier to use the effect plugin Step FX was originally called Camel Space before Apple acquired them to get hold of Alchemy but all the CamEl FX are right there, check out the original Camel audio effects to get an idea of what can be done, it seems many people don't realise these amazing FX plugins live on in Logic!

    • @kingofdjembe
      @kingofdjembe Год назад

      Yes by the way I wish they were available individually in logic. Like I wish there was a dedicated effect for distortion, instead of having to open the fatFX and disable all the other effects.

    I really like Logic Pro X alot! I was using Cubase the last years due to the OS, but I´m now finally moving back to Logic :)
    The signal flow is just way more flexible and less complicated than in Cubase, also the plugins are much nicer. Cubase is really the Windows aquivalent of sequenzer programs^^
    Maybe I´ll miss a few features in Logic, but you can´t have it all I guess...

      It sucks and isn't well publicised, but you could try and use the legacy Noise Gate (silver gate) which shares a similar interface. Simply hold the 'option' key while clicking an empty effect slot, and you should have a list of legacy plugins available.
