So glad I saw this before I just watched again several times to write it all down. 😅
Thank you so much!
thank you so much for this
This is super cool
Cool, thanks for sharing!
I have been a professional composer/producer in NZ for over 4 decades (I’m 73) and started with Logic when it was called eMagic Notator! I have written film scores, TV themes, endless advertising tracks and album tracks and I know my way around Logic! But I still learned a number of quick tips from your video which is so well put together and succinct compared to the usual droney geeky male presenters. Congratulations!
What a life you had. Glad you were doing what you wanted
omg thank you so much! this made me so happy
That is awesome Jim! Thank you for all your work 🎹🎶
hey Jim, I learned a couple too! Rikki M
You pass the vibe check Jim I like you
I’ve been using logic for 15 years as an amateur, and this video showed me everything I thought was wrong about logic, but they are all just SETTINGS! Thank you so much!
SAME!

Yeah I'mma need a part 2. These were beyond exceptional. I've been using Logic for years now and half of these were completely new to me.
SEIDS, your instructional videos are some of the best on RUclips, period. No matter the topic. You get right to the most valuable stuff: I hope your career is going gangbusters, and your life, because you are so generous and helpful.
This is honestly one of the best videos I’ve ever seen. not only is so much of this information actually useful but the video is concise, right to the point, and not full of a bunch of fluff. I don’t think she even asked to subscribe or like the video that you do because it’s amazing
I have been using Logic for 20 years as a composer and sound designer and learned several useful things I had never even considered.
Very clearly explained with a great delivery. Thanks!!
I've been doing this for ages and still this video is almost all moves that I didn't know about. Thank you and well done.
1.Strip Silence ctrl+X
2.opt+arrow up/down, shift+opt+arrowup/sown
3.cmd+opt+T
4.drum machine designer(Quick Sampler)
5.cmd+mouse double click(VST open shortcut)
I’ve been using Logic Pro for almost a decade now and this “midi note chase” setting literally blew my mind. THANK YOU!!!!
SAME
She literally saved the best for last lol
yay!!!
@@SEIDS_ amazing videoooo! is the midi note chase a setting i have to remember to click with each new session?
@@SEIDS_ thanks! im working with logic a lot and your tips were very useful to me. im a singer from israel so this vidao tip is all over the world!
Always useful for me. I‘ve already purchased SEIDS‘ tips, but as I‘m not so busy I forget how to get problems solved and that‘s where SEIDS comes in. I‘ve got to watch this video again …
This is just amazing. Been watching on repeat for an hour soaking in all the tips
Have to thank you for saving hours upon hours of future production time. Priceless. Genuinely in awe of how many amazing tips you shared. Will seek out more of your content now and in the future. Cheers
Excellent video. Hearing midi keys when playing them mid way is fantastic. Great tips, to the point, and excellent delivery. Bravo!
I would recommend when fading clicks and pops zoom in as much as possible then fade to keep the loop from dropping sound on repeat
This is super helpful. Clear, concise delivery, and happy to subscribe. Thank you!
SEIDS for President 2024! 🔥
I very seldom comment on youtube-videos. But this is hands down the best video on Logic I have ever seen. Extremely helpful and to the point. Thank you!
I have been using LPX for 3 or 4 years and I knew almost any of these. wow thank you what a time saver
Seids is Absolutely Incredible . Recently purchased her Logic Pro course
Thank you SEIDs for these invaluable Logic tips. I have been using it daily for 16 years, and many of these tips were an absolute workflow "revelation"! Thank you!!
Glad it was helpful!
I never comment on these videos, but omg these are actually some of the best and most useful tips that people who "know" Logic can pick up to optimize their workflow. thank you!!!
Thanks ! Love the "chase" bit - I didn't think there was a solution to that annoying lack of sound if a clip is played from after beginning of clip. More! 🎸
Thank you. The strip silence is a very, very, very helpful thing to know about. I liked the moving tracking . I didn't know what you're talking about beyond that. I'm totally new to this, but I wanna find more videos by you because honey you knocked it out of the park for me. Thank you.
Funny I’m not the only one who’s been using Logic for many years and didn’t know some of these features. Bit stuck in my ways 😂 Probably good to re-explore our DAW of choice from time to time to learn something new. Thanks for the tips!
Straight to it. No nonsense. No messing around. Super useful tips. How can I not subscribe? Thanks!
You're a fortunate and very positive discovery. Every tip was what was needed following an upgrade - thank you SEIDS
Nice video!
As far as the tool selection goes, I use ' T ', the tools menu pops up quickly.
Another good trick for recording is ' shift + R ' to capture what you have recorded.
I went from Hybrid Arts SmpteTrack to Emagic's Micro Logic and have been using Logic ever since.
The Atari 1040 ST is still the best midi sequencer on the planet, then comes E-Mu the SP12 and then the Akai MPC.
Most people don't know it today but Logic actually saved and built Apple. When they bought Emagic in 2002 and killed the PC version of Logic, they forced the industry to buy Apple computers and the rest is history.
Super useful tips. I’ve been using Logic Pro X for 10yrs and didn’t know some of these. I’m also an Output Arcade User, but seeing the way you imported splice drum loop and how it all spread on the DMD software instrument made my jaw drop. I may need to try Splice now.
been using logic for years and i'm still learning/re learning new things. this video has been so helpful.
Thank you guys!
whoa! you solved a bunch of issues I've struggled with for years assuming it was just "the way things were." BAM! Thank you so much!!
Excellent tips from beginning to end. The last tip, however, deserves extra thanks because it ended an issue I was having for months.
🙌
2:00 LITERALLY been looking for a way to do that easily with audio but never thought it was THAT easy… hoooooly sh** thank you so much!! 😂
I want to like this video 1000 times. Thanks for these!!
This is a great example of a thorough video. Short and sweet. 🤞🏽
00:30 Remove Silence [ctrl +x]
01:40 tone pitch up [opt + arrow up] (also works in piano roll)
01:40 tone pitch up [opt + arrow down](also works in piano roll)
02:20 raise up octave [shift + opt + arrow up](also works in piano roll)
02:20 raise down octave [shift + opt + arrow down](also works in piano roll)
03:10 detect tempo from audio [cmd + opt + t]
03:30 moving audio between tracks (shift + ctrl +t) (first select audio then highlight track and use this shortcut)
04:53 cmd double click on icon to open sampler
04:55 preferences in logic pro
This is really helpful. „Detect Tempo“ is my favourite tipp!
Every time I see a SEIDS video, I learn so much! ❤
That Drum Designer Tip is the one for me. So underrated!
I've been using Logic for years and didn't know most of these. Well done.
At first I thought it started off a little basic, until I realized how useful this video would have been when I was younger. The longer I watched, the more I learned, even things I didn’t know till this day but due to this video, now I know. And my workflow in logic will be 10x more efficient. This is one of the best videos I’ve ever seen on RUclips, productivity wise. And aside from that, I had just recently subscribed to splice a few months ago and it’s completely evolved my music production process. Amazing company, amazing website, amazing video. 👍🏼
LOVE SEIDS, too the point and a lot easier to follow than most on youtube,
Out of all the Logic Pro tips videos I've seen on RUclips, this is without doubt the most helpful! Thank you!
is this the first you’ve watched
SEIDS! You are one of my absolute favorites! Thank You so much!!! MOTIVATED!!
These tips will save me hours. Super useful, thanks!
Fantastic tips. Very concise yet human delivery. Thanks for sharing.
I’ve watched hour long “tutorials” with a lot less information. You nailed it 🔥
WOW!!! Where is the appreciation for these tools. (More likes, please.) I'm just getting started with Logic Pro and your help is amazing. I'm feeling like skipping breakfast just to get back to the tune I was working on last night. Yahoo!!! Thank you. Much appreciation.
Happy to help!
She made me fall in love with Logic all over again
THANK YOU!!! Problems I had for nearly 10 years are finally solved 🙈 What a relief...
Glad it helped!
I've been using logic pro for 12 years.... I didn't know some of the tips. Thanks a lot!
I haven't used logic in about 10 years, but that "MIDI not playing halfway through a note" drove me f'n bonkers back in the day. It baffles me that it's set to that by default. Finally invested in a new Mac, so relearning logic again and these tips are hella useful. Love that "speed up/slow down" fade option too! Thanks.
The right click tool just became my permanent gain tool. THANKS!
Fast paced but that's what pause is for. Great tips in there. Well done!
Great video. That tip about dragging a loop on Drum Machine Designer is so useful. It also creates a midi clip that plays the loop, but of course the fun is in creating different versions of the loop.
I’ve been using Logic for about 4-5 years and still learn something new about it every day 🔥
what a great teacher, thank you!
I’ve been using Logic Pro for years and still didn’t know some of this tips. Very useful!
Thank you Sabrina. Outstanding! We will look forward to many more videos from you!
Thank you!!!!
Thank you so much for that last tip on midi playback. That has been driving me nuts for ages!
Finally some completely different tips from the rest.
When you think you know your DAW and then a video like this comes along. Thanks for some great tips that will make my life in Logic Pro even more easy.
I’m using Logic for a few years and didn’t know most of those tips which are I needed them! This video gonna chance my working stile! 😊
She is the freakin best , I’ve been using logic since 2007 and definitely consider myself a wizard with logic (for the art i make) but a humble student . I always learn from seids on her socials . To the comment I saw about veterans of logic still discovering new tricks . Sometimes it takes years to create the brain space or brain capacity to digest all the extra special commands and have them embedded into the habitual subconscious . Shout out to everyone on here learning and sharing !!! And shout out splice ! I find myself using splice like a streaming service or podcast bc I’m constantly on it . Hope to one day be able to contribute my guitar and bass and self made samples to the splice community. I’m ready !!
Thank you!!
Chase Midi Notes - The best tip EVER!!! Thank you!!!
THESE TIPS HAVE CHANGED MY WORLD VIEW OMGGGGG THIS CHANGES EEEEVERYTHIJGGG THANK YOU SPLICE I LOVE YOU
Thank you so much the Remove Silence shortcut is a must to save so many minutes/hours in life 😂❤
I've been using Logic for decades, and most of your tips were new to me! Such a deep app. Thanks for posting.
This is the most useful and concise video ever made on any subject. Thank you
I've been using Logic for a decade and had no idea some of these existed. Fantastic vid!
Wow! Great video! In my opinion, this is the most useful set of Logic Pro shortcuts that I have seen on RUclips. Thanks a lot!
I've been a producer on Logic for years and these are massively helpful! Subscribed! Thank you :)
Awesome, thank you!
This is the best!! Thank you, Seids 🙏🏽
Awesome @seids!!!
Ok this is crazy. I’d say I’m a logic aficionado for sure. You just made me have slight doubts as to whether I was and then no doubts as to whether I am after learning these tips 😂. I knew a lot of them, but the ones I didn’t know are so worth watching through the whole video. Never have I seen such useful tips and shortcuts demonstrated. Wonderful job. You just added probably years to my life after adding up all the precious seconds I’ll be saving, and months to the lives of everyone with whom I work. Thank you!
yay I am so happy : )
Ok, I was genuinely surprised by some of those! Like, I use shortcuts to shift MIDI in the piano roll all the time, but never thought the same command would work on whole regions, and even audio! Great video!
Great to hear!
Purchased my first MacBook after running Windows for years and as a result, I’m switching my DAW of choice from Mixcraft to Logic. These tips are gonna be super useful while learning and transitioning between the two!!
I keep coming back to this video. So USEFUL! Thanks love!
Holy shit that last tip about midi is something I’ve been trying to figure out for at least a year, thank you!
This is another level of teaching!!! Thank you!!
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks Alot ❤
LOVE Logic
Great Tips! 👍
So useful, thank you very much !
Seids is the best online teacher! Awesome video! Save to favorites.
ahhh thank you!!!
Hey! Hi! there Sides. Thanks for the helpful tips. I am a baby boomer producer, and this modern-day DAW technology is new to me. So again thank you so much for sharing this awesome tutorial about Logic Pro x Tips. 🙂👍
Wonderful tips Seids, as always with your content! 😃
- But I also want to compliment the video producer: the lighting, slider motion, b-roll, editing, it is all truly high production value in the video itself. Huge thumbs up to you as well!
Super useful tips to add to my Logic toolbox. Many thanks!
Wow! This was helpful. Thanks a lot!
This video is a life saver in a true sense
Just found your channel you have just proved you can teach an old dog (like me) new tricks - thank you very helpful and well presented cheers❤️
love all the tips and the excitement of Seids, thank you!
Amazing seids. Subscribed to your personal channel as well. Love the way you explain things so clearly. Thank you
Thx, great and useful tips.
The Option+Arrow Key also works to incrementally raise or lower selected automation nodes. I often find myself struggling to position a node, with the mouse, on an exact value. As long as the node(s) is selected this key command can help zero in on the exact desired value.
Seids you're so incredible! 🌹Thank you this was so great 🔥
She’s 👑 of Logic Pro!!
Thanks, I have been looking at Logic and Ableton and you give a great demonstration of Logic, very easy to understand. Thank you.
