BMW No Ignition, No Start, Accessory Mode Fix

Hi there,
After a dead battery my ELV counter tripped and I was unable to start the car, or even get the ignition lights to turn on. The only fix i found online required ISTA-D and i do not have that. I used a Snap-on scanner which allowed me to get into the CAS, without the ignition powered on, and reset the ELV through special functions.
