This is the best video of perfumes I've watched so far. Yes, smells are stored in the deepest part of our brain, they are directly connected to our feeling, that's a good reason to always wear a fragrance
Yes! Thanks!
My mom always wore vanilla perfume and I never understood how she smelled good all day long. I almost thought it was just her natural smell, now vanilla is my favorite scent but I usually just spray it on my bed sheets to help me fall asleep at night. I use a different sweet scented perfume for my clothes.
I usually wear fragrance when I'm trying to get my way.
The scene of "Perfume: The Story of a Murderer", where the people are screaming "he is an angel" comes to mind.
So when I'm trying to get people to see me as Angel I wear 9PM by Afnan, or Cremo Black Spice and Vanilla layered with Ambroxan. I had some ladies hound me down at Walmart trying to know what I was wearing.... 9PM layered with Ambroxan.
A pretty female co-worker told me that I smell good when I was not even trying. It was at that point that I realized women like men who smell good and I started to pick up some fragrances over the last year since that interaction.
I recently started hanging out with that co-worker out of work and it looks like it will be turning into a romantic relationship. It does pay off to smell good. Even if you are not trying to attract a potential mate it is just nice to smell good.
It's part of how you present yourself, just like a haircut or your your style. It signals that you care about your hygiene.
Any update on the relationship going?
@@dominikkesik3377 We hung out for 3 months almost daily and then she ghosted me out of the blue and I have not hear from her in 2 months.
The last time we hung out we saw a movie and then made plans to meet up in a couple of days and hang out over the weekend, but she cancelled when I messaged here the next day to confirm plans.
She became despondent with her texts to me over the following week and then just stopped replying back to me.
I started becoming interested in fragrance and smells after my partner passed away a few years ago. I never before had any big interest in fragrance. Something interesting and depressing I realized was how quickly his scent faded from his clothes. He had certain body washes that he liked that sometimes I have used just to bring back his smell. I can still smell him even in my mind, that's how powerful that sense is for us. I think I mainly got into it to fragrances to cope and calm myself during the grieving process. I bought myself alot of different scented things and perfumes, and ended up on kind of a scent journey. I find that it really grounds you in the here and now, which is perfect for anyone who's grieving, or simply feeling low.
Good Stuff! So True how fragrances bring back great memories. Every time I smell Polo Green, it brings back memories of me and my best friend in high school drenching ourselves in it and going to the mall on Saturdays to hang out with all our friends.
Yes indeed fragrances and perfume evoke memories, emotions, feelings, passions and it also attracts as well.. I feel it can elevate you to another realm too
Great video!! So true ; perfume is more than just smelling good; it definitely affects your mood; senses and memories.
😀
It evokes feelings as well and it also attracts too
Scents bypass the thalamus and go straight to the brain's smell center, known as the olfactory bulb. The olfactory bulb is directly connected to the amygdala and hippocampus, which might explain why the smell of something can so immediately trigger a detailed memory or even intense emotion.
More importantly why aren't people wearing perfume these days? Or they just arent wearing enough for me to be able to smell it and whats the point in wearing it if no one can smell it?
Love how professional this video is, like Jeremy Fragrance
