All facts. I get the “you always smell good” line quite a bit. Fragrances really boost my mood and just make me feel better as a whole. We strive to take care of our hygiene and etc and the final layer is adding the fragrance. It’s like adding the icing on the cake. I’ll never forget this one time I went to Lowes and the cashier told me: “out of everybody who has been in my line, you’re the only one who has smelled good.”
My mom passed away and every single time I smell her signature scent (Versace Crystal Noir) it feels like hugging her again, the memory part of smells is so so so important! And they make or break your whole "vibe" too!
You are right on all counts. I am 70 years old and I have been wearing a fragrance since I was 8 years old. My mother used to put a cologne called Kings Men on me and my brother before we went to school.
This is so true. I am ashamed to acknowledge that for years I practiced terrible personal hygiene habits mainly because on my infantile mind I thought that was a "manly trait." How wrong was I. I am now happy to report that I have changed those habit for the better and it's absolutely true, when you know that you are smelling clean and fresh, that acts as a self-confidence booster. Looking back, I don't even know how people (family, friends and co-workers) were able to tolerate my horrible stinkiness. Folks, trust me on this, a little effort invested in personal hygiene, goes a lonnnnggg way, that is, daily shower, using deodorant, brushing your teeth, using a perfume, wearing clean and neat clothes, trimming your nails, hair and bear, etc, all of those tiny details combined together go a long way in the way you feel about yourself and the way people perceive you as well. I really hope I smell delicious to everyone. I've gotten a couple compliments from my coworkers but no one at school has ever complimented my scent.
