Have plenty of apple trees on the yard. In the fall moose and deer come to eat. I have noticed that by far they prefer the apples that are "rotten" on the ground. And, it is so obvious that back in old times if they planted an apple tree they attracted wildlife, i.e., meat. Perhaps, that is the reason for keeping trees rather than eating all those apples...

OMG. As a mother, my kids were pretty much forced to eat their veggies. After watching a tonne of carnivore diet videos, it’s just dawned on me. Little kids always want to eat their meat and don’t want to eat their veggies. Most parents force it. I gave my kids tonnes of veggies and a small portion of meat. They are the shortest of all their cousins. Their cousins ate a lot more meat🤔 it’s obviously an innate human instinct.

Funny isn't it, how you as the mother assume you must know what's best over a child or baby. But when it comes to what is natural they know FAR better than you do. Their instincts are correct. They hate the green stuff and try to avoid it. And by forcing it down their throats you were overriding their natural instinct with wrong ones.

Same thing happened to me when my first tomatoes ripened. It was delicious! Only ate half of one, gained 2 pounds overnight and felt yuck! 😢
Rest of the family is keeping up with eating them and friends are asking for more. Better for them than the junk they eat. I don't care about the zucchini, peppers, green beans, okra, etc. But the ripe tomatoes are my favorite!
I'm not giving up my garden for carnivore. Feeds my family better than they would eat otherwise. Teaches my grandkids where food comes from. And it's my zen. I'm relaxed, gets me outside and busy no matter how bad my back is hurting. If they won't go carnivore, it's the healthiest organic food I can feed them. I even added some ground kelp to the dirt for iodine. Don't know if that'll help, but it can't hurt!

I really appreciate this conversation, it should help educate my care team to how a carnivore diet has been our ancestral diet for millions of years. While high-carbohydrate, grain and starch is less than 20,000 years
I'm ready to tell them that I'm tired of the pain my fibromyalgia is constantly causing, along with rheumatoid arthritis, starting to affect my knuckles, and just being tired all of the time! This isn't living, and EVERYTHING was under control, before I was forced onto a more "normal diet," and I see no reason to torture myself trying to keep my blood sugar under control, while trying to incorporate more carbs into my diet.
I'm already mostly meat and dairy, so hopefully things go well And they can watch me improve as I eat what they are terrified of me eating. Good beef, eggs, and other fatty meats!

Anecdotes, especially when there are many of them, are observations. Anecdotes from following the carnivore diet have led to the hypothesis that this diet is responsible for healing various health issues. The next step is to rigorously test this hypothesis and draw conclusions. Since "eating meat" cannot be patented, there is no profit incentive to test the hypothesis. At this time we can only assess the anecdotes which are increasing in number. The accumulation of these observations cannot be easily dismissed.
