Nicely done mate and a nice honest video about your own approach. I think the reason people use flux and new solder and a sucker, is to do a clean job and avoid damage to the pads on the PCB. I'm like you to be honest. Heat it up and wiggle it out. I know it's wrong but I can't be arsed lol.
Yeh sod all that im oldskool mate i used to solder when i was a kid before they went electric i had to place the solder iron on a stove to get it hot...and thats no joke Thanks for watching mate glad you enjoyed it
@@tooheystechgaming1977 Won't that kill what you just did to it ? I have to arrange mine properly this weekend. Finally plug that surge adapter into my computer, I bought at xmas
3300uf 6.3v & 1500uf 6.3v and I would say a 1.2/3v board as the version 1 has the fan on the GPU Connexant video encoder chip and the 1.4v has a focus video coder chip which I located by the fan connector 😎👌 1.6v has Excalibur video code chip You only needed to change the Silver Caps & Black&White Caps, hope this helps
in my opinion it would have been better to show in more detail how to remove the old capacitors and insert the new ones. Without criticizing, so more than a guide it is just explaining that what can be done in this situation and that you know how to do it
This is brill toohey a no nonsense approach
Thank you very much glad you enjoyed it
