Absolurely no-one can do this "pagentry better " it also makes me so very proud to be able to see this. when I was growing up we had to go to the "cinema" to see such sights . When I was only 15 years oif age I also sat in the visitors gallery in the House's of Parliament to hear the debate on the Government removing the last product of the the rationing we had endured throughout the war years initally it was onlky 2 ounces a week and then later on to 3 ounces, I wonder what present day people would cope with that today.
None of the younger generations could cope with rationing. I was born three years after the war and some rationing didn't stop until 1953. The younger generation couldn't cope with lockdown. My Mum used to feed me the cheese allowance and I grew up hating cheese. Can't stand the stuff.... Love the pageantry. Best wishes. Lynda 🇬🇧

Yes I heard that I had to go back to spot the 2 without helmets lol 😂 I was too busy watching the riderless horse to see if someone was going to grab him. Hopefully the rider is ok!! They will be SO embarrassed it happened on the big day & not in rehearsals!! But horses are unpredictable never know what is going to scare them. Mine seem to choose the most random things, can be something they go pass every day but today looks like it’s going to eat them lol 😂
Helmet was recovered by police. ruclips.net/video/VJ-YZdvDhtc/видео.html
I should think losing your shiny pointy helment would get you a major bollocking.
Peter I came across your comment about the lost helmet just as the video got to that part. 😂 (1:07:07)
I had noticed one rider without their helmet very early on so at least one was probably still inside St James.
Here in the U.S. WE SO ENJOY SEEING THE PAGEANTRY….LOVE IT, THE HORSES ARE BEAUTIFUL AND WELL TRAINED.
I honestly thought the King was going to come out riding a horse but spectacular non the less with all our wonderful pageantry
I was watching out for the King on horse, but he was in a carrage. Why wright YT such title when it is not true? I was a bit sad.
@@Maria-tm2euI was true. How would you. You ride in a car don't you? That's what the King and Queen were doing only in a carriage. The King is an expert rider, he was with the Queen so better take a carriage.
@@loopywren hallo, yes, i ride in a car, but I have 1 horse and I ride that with great delight. With my Mummy on board, I would ride a carriage too.🐎
Possibly because of where his cancer is located.
@Maria-tm2eu all these photographers lie to get you to watch!
God Save The King and God Bless the United Kingdom
You indeed have a heritage to be proud of. To those that want to erase or change it
YOU CANT AND NEVER SHOULD. EVEN THE HORRORS AND MISTAKES! WHATS PAST IS PAST. NO ONE ALIVE CAN CHANGE IT OR BE EXPECTED TO ATONE FOR THE MISTAKES OF THEIR ANCESTORS. IT IS THAT HISTORY THAT BROUGHT YOU HERE. BOTH THE GOOD AND NOT SO GOOD THINGS . AND LOOK WHERE YOU ARE !!BURSTING WITH PRIDE. AS YOU WELL SHOULD
WE MUST NOT TRY TO ATONE FOR MISTAKES OUR FOREFATHERS MADE. WE SHOULD LEARN THE LESSONS NOT TO REPEAT THEM.
LOVE THE U.K. AND MY COUSINS ACROSS THE POND
❤WITH PRIDE IN YOUR COUNTRY AND MINE. U.S.A.
Well said…..this Texan agrees.
I have lived in South Africa for 34years now ,still a pommel at heart. I just love the pomp and ceremony. Long live king Charles.
Yes I’ve been in australia for 32yrs but still class myself as English! My whole family is English so don’t think I’m going to change now 😂 my friends still call me a PoHM! 😂
Magnificent. Glad I’m British.
VERY SMART INDEED GREAT TO WATCH
Thank you so much for filming this wonderful spectacle. I'm bursting with pride at being British. My husband served his Queen and Country in Korea and I know he would have loved to have seen this parade today.
He most likely is watching it dear. Bless him he sounds like a lovely man.
I personally always wanted to join the Air Force in the late 1950s but my parents would not let me.
They said it
was too dangerous. Now it is but back then nah, not that much.
One fell off his horse and two lost their helmets. Not a completely stellar day for the Horse Guards but they were wonderful all the same. Loved the loose horse and the Queen medley.
Thank you so much for taking the time to make this video...felt like I was there..brilliant view..well done..always proud to be British..God save our King.
Thank you for your kind comment! Super happy you enjoyed watching!
I like the tribute to Freddie Mercury. Best forces in the world.
Absolutely wonderful!
Am SO VERY VERY PROUD OF EVERYONE ON PARADE TODAY..AND TOTALLY 💯 Proud to be British….Brilliant band playing, marching, appearance, just everything! Thankyou all for showing the world just how much you mean to us! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🙋♀️🥰💕
And of course it was wonderful to see the King riding out…I’m presuming Prince William riding next to him?
Congratulations to the King on his birthday, and many happy returns of the day! 🙋♀️👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💕💐🦋🦋🦉🙏
The King didn't appear until 55 minutes, when he and the Queen came out in a coach.
@@vivianjames9925 Very obviously.
How beautiful King Charles and Camilla in the carriage the guards the sound of the horses and the military band Love it. 👑👑 from Australia 🦘.
No one does a parade like the Uk military ….such discipline
Love to see patriotic pride in the military of one's country
You might enjoy seeing the American changing of the guard at the tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Just two men but so perfect for thevoccassion
Best disciplined yet worst equipped in all of Europe.
If you like the military discipline and precision you might enjoy Beating Retreat on Horse Guards Parade 2024 - The Bands of HM Royal Marines. (posted in the last 24 hrs).
Je suis désolée de vous contredire, mais les français sont aussi excellents dans cet exercice 👍👍👍😀
Loved seeing all the kings horses and avllhe kings men
A very busy week for ceremonial duties with the State opening of Parliament and Remembrance Sunday and some attending Lord Mayor's show on Saturday and any possible involvement with RBL Festival of Remembrance from the Royal Albert hall Saturday evening. Our service people do is proud every time they are on duty. I thank you for all you do to preserve our freedom and aid our allies.
This was so incredible an event and your coverage was marvelous
Thank you very much! Super glad you enjoyed watching. More to come!
This Australian loves the pageantry of the British armed forces and the parades are very moving.
Your ancestors were British and sent to Australia!
I was in Sydney some years ago and count myself fortunate to attend the Anzac Day Parade. You guys have no peers when it comes to parades so never put yourselves down mate.
Bursting with so much pride. Bless all our Service men and women. 🙏
I have no words about what I have seen
I am not a British citizen but I was in the Portuguese Army and 26 months in Angola back in the 70
I felt a tear of pround and honor for what I saw
God bless you all and offcourse the Royal family
I just love your Country...
Bless you all
Sad when u hear folks laughing this is great and an honor 🎖 ❤
Can't wait to be part of this remarkable Regiment. I hear it's hard work but i believe I'm ready for it.
I wish you all the best.
Good luck!
I hope you made it, and good luck 🌹
August 2024. So very glad I scrolled down to YOUR comment. Hope that we have seen on duty at Horse Guards and during Military Season. Do not know you, of course, but I'm awfully proud of you. Very good luck in your fine, fine life.
So smart, proud and in perfect step. Makes me proud to be British...
What a great ensemble of music played by the band. Loved it ❤
Britain 🇬🇧 ❤️ at what it does best
That riderless horse looked like Joe Cool gliding by the other horses like s/he was large and in charge. Great video.
Right! LOL. Definitely, large and in charge.
(At 53:33)
The horse returned starting around 1:01:54. He/she must have thrown the rider.
What was the occasion?
i love horses i like brits its good to see men in horses in guard
thumbs up
That is the most beautiful carriage I have ever seen. Perfect for carrying the King and Queen.
It's pretty new, made for Golden Jubilee in 2012
@@rogerfielding1117 Thanks. I live in the US and am out of touch with that sort of thing...
@@vivaldi1948used at the Coronation as well.
Camilla is actually Queen consort not Queen.
@@janicemarcroft686 Thank you for correcting me. I thought it was wrong but wasn't sure. I'll be more careful in the future. 😀
Spectacular, Brits you always do it right with all the pomp and circumstances. Loved the music❤️❤️❤️
Our ladies, gentlemen and horses are awesome. Thank you xx
Its videos like this that makes me proud to be British. I have so much respect for the King and the Royal Family, and also for our armed forces.
Amen to all the guards men and women!!!❤❤❤❤
Very nice confirming power and pride of your country Respect from the USA 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩💖💖💖💖
What a fantastic video; thank you so much for posting it!
It greatly enriched the public television coverage which to my disappointment left out rather a lot this year, but you have made my day. Bless you!
Thank you so much for your kind comment! Very pleased to hear that you enjoyed watching. Stay tuned more to come.
Fantastic video thank you for sharing it with us i am so proud of our service men and women god save the king ❤
Thank you for tuning in! Really glad you enjoyed watching
Beautiful to watch wonderful spectacle. Makes me proud to be Canadian and part of the Commonwealth. God Bless the King.
I was born and still live in the UK. However, I do not live in London and have never been there but that looks spectacular! Makes me proud as a British citizen! 🏴
Every time I get to see these occasions I am just so proud.
💕This is absolutely beautiful!💕
As a Canadian with British roots I was so proud to watch this, but a riderless horse and a headdressless rider were a bit of a surprise.
There was 2 that lost their helmet 1 lifeguard and one lady blues & royals guard!!! Have never seen all 3 in one parade before! They will all be on mucking out duties in the stables this week!! 😮
Listening to the police radio near the end of the video, they are missing a Horse Guards helmet along the procession route. Police were told to keep a lookout "for a shiny pointee helmet". Helmet recovered by police.
The rider less horse should ALWAYS be included. We will not forget all those who gave their lives so these events can occur.
@@kathleensingleton6314 There should be a rider less horse, yes, but not running free without guidance.
Beautiful. From across the pond 🇺🇲 🌴 🌊
Beautiful huge brown horse at 12.45. Looks so alert and interested in proceedings.

Thank you from the daughter of a WWII British Army veteran 🌺
I’m Canadian & very proud of our ties to Britain. We’ve only visited once but felt completely at home.
That mounted Policeman is doing a great job trying to calm his horse with the sudden band music playing right in its face. ❤
So proud of them all, lots of hard work too.. Also of the Police, not perfect but bound by London rules.
A Beautiful Chestnut behind the orchestra. Such a proud horse. Thanks V
Pleasure to watch in the USA❤
This is lovely 🥰 to see!Because, now that I’m older,I can’t travel like I used to.I’m so glad people film 🎥 this for 🇺🇸 America!Because,we don’t have traditions like this in America!I’m sure glad that I went to England when I was;28 year’s old!
Glad you enjoyed watching 🙏
ANOTHER AWESOME PARADE,.!!!!!...LOOKING GREAT YOU GUYS,.!!!!!.🤔🤗👏👏👏👏👏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏💯🎀.
I notice the horse without a rider knew exactly what to do. That was impressive.
Horse without the rider was leading the rest of the herd!
Is there a meaning to the horse with no rider?
Yea. Somebody fell off.
Also there was a rider without a helmet@@jockbarrie8535
@@LeeAnn-9 there's also a rider in that group with no hat, so possibly a collision between 2 of them before they reached the gate.
