I've been listening a similar amount of time, started listening in around 2011, not actually sure which year.
Why is this so therapeutic?! They are so comforting to listen to when going to bed. I listen to this or ‘questions for Karl part 1’ every single night. Better then any ‘hypnosis video!’ Goodnight all. 😴

@@maxbusiness69 I love Karl for sticking with being Karl. I just watched that video where he gets his hair back, and you can see him forcing things [funny things that he has said before] in to fill it out. Perfectly ordinary in TV but he didn't look comfortable doing it.
So I can see why people might not watm to Karl the TV star, in the way they warmed to Karl the Karl.

Karl was still very funny, but Gervais was getting very annoying and Merchant wasn’t even trying by the end of the podcasts.

Sometimes at night when I put on Ricky Steve and Karl as I crawl in bed I wish there was a Ricky, Steve, Karl triva contest for all of us bedtime club members. Including All XFM, all podcast/audio book series, and the ‘guide to.....’ series. Where we could compete for bragging rights. No doubt we would all be amazing at it, because with no new content we have registered to all of this stuff thousands of times, even in our sleep we are picking it up subconsciously, I’m sure of it. For example: During the Friends Re-United bit, what is the full name of Karl’s former classmate that he really didn’t like and had little white bits in his fingernails from a calcium deficiency. The answer guys would be.....?

When I first started listening & Ricky or Karl would say they grew up poor & lived on the estate- I thought, well they can't be that poor on an estate. In America an estate is a mansion! But still, your estates are pretty nice.

I know how Karl feels about gift buying - if you're not into the obligation, it's quite stressful, I spent many a year buying any old thing just so they got something. Actually, one year, I just wrapped up a book I had myself on my bookshelf for years cause i didnt know what to buy. Buy when you want to when it feels right. So maybe buy something nice during the year when it feels right and keep it for Christmas.
