😢😢😢 heartbreaking 💔! Eye opening to learn about history of black citizens in US.
Over 9000 black americans shot other black americans dead this year. 450 of them were kids under the age of 10.
How about having your heartbreak over that?
P.S. Not one of them was shot by a cop or white supremacist.

The school house that was the center point of Brown v Board of Education is a protected historical landmark in Topeka, Kansas. If one travels along.I-70 you will see a sign directing to the location of that landmark. People don’t realize, however that the Brown decision was very poorly written by the Court. Because the Brown ruling was so poorly written, the court had to return, at least three to clarify their position.
Instead of making uneducated racist comments here-educate yourself.
Tax dollars for private schools should be against the law. Unfortunately, AZ pass state laws allowing public funds to pay for private schools. Our public schools are being decimated and rich parents effectively got a refund on the tuition they were already paying to their kids private school. The excuse is that poor students will be able to attend private schools as well. But, there is a limit to the number of students they will take and the private school can raise the tuition above the voucher amount. There's no accountability for curriculum and use of taxpayer dollars by the private schools, either.
Not only that but private schools do not have to require teaching degrees.

The Maryland State Department of Education recently released the 2022 state test results known as MCAP, Maryland Comprehensive Assessment Program.
Baltimore City’s math scores were the lowest in the state. Just 7% of third through eighth graders tested proficient in math, which means 93% could not do math at grade level.
But that’s not all. WBFF combed through the scores at all 150 City Schools where the state math test was given. In 23 Baltimore City schools, there were zero students who tested proficient in math.
It just sounds like these schools, now, have turned into essentially babysitters with no accountability,” said Patterson. “This is the future of our city. We’ve got to change this.”
Among the list of 23 schools, there are 10 high schools, eight elementary schools, three middle/high schools and two elementary/middle schools.
Exactly 2,000 students, in total, took the state math test at these schools. Not one could do math at grade level.
Sad state of affairs. All the back and forth amongst the adults and our children are suffering because of it

How do you expect a people to get educated and get out of poverty if you take away their only means to get an education. There is a difference between choosing to limit your interactions with the racist majority and being with your own and being forced to by law. My son went to a Historically black college. The same one that Martin Luther King Jr attended. His son will attend that university. My granddaughters would attend Spelman if I had my druthers. Either way they will attend a historically black university. I see no reason for them to not have this time inosculated from the hate promoted on white universities. I also hope they choose to live in black neighborhoods and start their own businesses. We were sold a bill of goods and I think after 70 years of failure we have learned our lesson.

"History Refocused" is a good title. As a way to help mitigate the incalculable damage that DeSantis continues to do, I hope CNN ignores the segregated boundaries of "Black History Month", and regularly presents such stories. This is a particularly effective way to teach AMERICAN history, the untold stories, and it is clearly needed for the foreseeable future.
Texas Governor Abbott is trying to do that now.
