perfect video to teach improvement of the serve, and I really liked how you use everyday things so that I understand the different steps to improve. Thanksss
Great. I coach two teams currently. 12U and 14U. So kids ages 10-14. Please watch this video for a serving progression. ruclips.net/video/-jQJW4yFaiw/видео.html
It depends on the type of serve. Yes if you’re doing a top spin jump serve because you have more time to get your hitting arm up and ready after you toss. But if it’s a float or jump float the toss is much lower and tossing with the dominant hand may be tricky to get up and ready to hit. I do see some player toss with both hands for a serve occasionally. If you’re doing it with your dominant hand and it’s working for you, great.

Yep serving is the most important volleyball skill in my opinion. I teach my players that it is an offense.

I thought, while serving the ball you should toss the ball with your dominant arm?
