how much total did you invest on this suicide suit?
You forget the most important part. How will you equalize your ears in this darkvador helmet? I don't see any soft spot to pinch the nose. Less than 10% of divers can equalize their ears by swallow or by moving their jaws. The remainder need a soft spot to pinch their nose to aqualise when going down
This was interesting, but I found it was lacking footage from the actual suit underwater. I guess they keep this for the actual show.

Honestly, they didn't show a whole lot on the actual show either (I just watched it). It wasn't clear what was really happening except that sharks were around, and people describing what happened. I wish I knew more about the (second) suit's materials.

I have always dreamed of an environmental suit that would completely protect my self from all dangerous things but I thank you for making a start but will give it another 25 years of development before i wear it :)

Shark submarine are stealthy technology and camouflage tactics.
It's a cool concept but man this suicidal af. One GWS dont view humans as prey items. Most GWS attacks are them mistaken us for prey they typically eat. Saying that you probably weren't even invisible to them hence you pointed out the shield has touched Gws. They definitely noticed you and even checked you out and realize you weren't food. Two this test should of been done with either tiger sharks or bull sharks which definitely are man eaters , which in my eyes would be suicidal because those types of sharks literally eat anything if it can fit in there mouth.
Yeah, this guy is insane. If he tested just the suit for several years, then I might begin to think he had something. don't try this at home.

I wonder how he got around the ampuli of lorenzini ? Its the jelly substance in the sharks pours that is hyper conductive meaning even the smallest of electronic signals even the ones ur brain sends your organs lungs heart ect so not only can they smell a drop of blood from literally a mile away they can also detect heart beats.the good news is that almost every other animal they encounter has a heart beat or an organ function theoretically they could tell animals from another without having to see them at night time sharks have to navigate an protect themselves easier said than done when you cant see at all like nothing even if rite infront of you u will swim into it before you ever know its there let alone what it is so I dont know how much good this thing will be in reality if anything it could visually hide you from them just enough to give confidence but it most likely would cause you to sneak up on them or startle them which would more then likely assure u get grabbed.

Cause u can swim with sharks naked and they won't care most bites are them trying to figure out wtf u are most of them won't even bite you if u swim with them if they do they won't kill you blood loss is what gets you that's why they bite the cages

I've been semi-watching the show on Shark Week. *Spoiler* it's at the point where he's exiting the diving cage, to see if Great Whites will bother him with a shield 😐 Seriously WTF does he think that shield's going to protect him from? I can see a GW ripping his entire arm off taking the shield away... At least I just had a good laugh *SMH*

Interesting how they bleep the F-Bombs in this video but they fly freely in the article within which the link is referenced. I'm a middle-aged male and no stranger to the word, but I wouldn't expect it in a CNET article.
