I regret not being able to see them live. I hope they do a reunion tour at some point.
Wow. Pulling riffs from a bunch of other songs and mashing them seamlessly into this great song- that is some serious chops...and practice. I regret having never seen them live. "Today's Active Lifestyles" still one of my all-time favorite albums.
I agree. I have the same regret.
Seen ‘em ~4 times…all good. Wish they’d keep putting out records.
If you play guitar with for awhile, and try to match up your skills with others, how can you not be in awe of these guys? Holy shit! Chills. So technically interesting. Such a vibe.
Twenty-five years now these fellas have been blowing my mind and bringing a smile to my face. Thanks, guys!
he visto a polvo 3 veces en españa y han sido los tres mejores conciertos que he visto en mi vida!!!!!
i started playing guitar because of ashes guitar work
what a beast
@Chand Bellur definitely
saw them live few years ago. best concert ever
They are the only band that can pull this off . . . so sick!
God they are so good.
All polvo rips, this version is great
Outstanding band
Wish this show was available via audio. Polvo have been hit or miss over the decades and seems they were on this night.
i wish adorno could have heard that
I can hear it many times a day! Wonderful!
they are really amazing!!
Sounds different because they are playing it in standard tuning, more or less. They should just bring different guitars for the old songs. I appreciate what they are doing, transcribing, but the old timings were just so awesome
wow, it sounds like regular rock n roll, and way more boring hahaha
You've completely missed the mark. It's not a standard tuning at all. They've completely changed the arrangement, added new parts, used mashups, increased the difficulty, added tighter stops. They were obviously challenging themselves with this one to see how insane they could make it. I'm not even sure how they remembered all of this.
@@demonicsweaters I disagree with you. And you are wrong (demonic sweaters)
@@demonicsweaters you are right for sure but honestly I don’t think it’s good sounding compared to the original. Very impressed nonetheless.
Here here for that old fashioned BEG#EG#E love
Legend
so raw
so good
Full show...??? Maybe a dvd release??
You puny puny man.................POLVO rules the wasteland
Very fucking good
why they play it so different live?
Every show they ever played was different to some extent, but they were way tighter, proggier, swingier, and rockist during the reunion era. I saw them around 8-9 times, and the best live era was 93-95. They seemed tired between 96-98, and I thought the records from that era were also less inspired though I did like them. I enjoyed the reunion show because it was impressive to see them be that tight, but I preferred the messier era. They were my favorite band for a long time, but the reunion albums disappointed me. I did go back and edit them down way later, and made my own EPs of the tracks with better running order.
you need eddie again......
:(
+very cool man who is cool so sad.....Mr Watkins was an incredible drummer....rip
Yea, the reunion drummer is so lame. Not a good fit. So sad about Eddie.
A great band, but the drummer is very weak.
Yea, he's all meat potato
Huh?
@@bibsma3401 what does that mean?
@@ST-xg3gy It means the OG drummer who is sadly no longer with us, was a way more interesting drummer. The Polvo reunion guy plays basic hard rock like he's in AC/DC.
