Wonderful wonderful crying blues from Hendrix ! Always impressed years later 10 minutes of pure perfection, soloing, man asking mercy to the Lord... It's extraordinary how it is goodw every single note and expression. The way he makes sing that Gibson sg is extraordinary. These instruments are not reputed for their subtility but he's putting it at the level of a stratocaster. I'm not a gibson player at all but I have to admit that this song and this live in particularly gave me the need to have a good one. It's just so mellow and elegant. The les paul i don't like but the SG has surely something to propose. God bless Hendrix.
