I’ve always liked Evo’s and Imprezas when built right, but all those drivetrains are made out of absolute glass once you start putting down decent torque numbers. Assuming your drivetrain hasn’t shattered after the 10th launch, you end up starting to play back and forth with supporting mods because one side of the faction grows weak as the quest for power never ends.
My problem with jap cars is the downtime you get in some of these builds, evos can be like a top fuel dragster with a full interior and a/c ..but good luck getting that car to run well for more than 40% of the year.

Not sure what you’re talking about, owning Mitsubishis dams and evos you won’t see an issue with transmission problems up until about 600 hp. And mainly it’s syncro issues at 90k miles. Usually from people driving them hard.
