Evo X / IX
As a proud evo 8 owner. Ty
Had an 8, currently in a 10. Love them both. As a daily, 10 wins. Weekend fun, 8 all day. Currently looking for a 6 to historical plate and play on the weekends. 😊
Evo X for me, it’s the most aggressive looking evo, more reliable, and better performance cause the spools quicker and it has mivec in both intake and exhaust, not to mention it sounds really aggressive too compared to the others.
Love to see you guys cover the Alfa Romeo Guadrifoglio. Planning on getting one and definitely modifying. Sorry it’s not JDM but it’s what I like.
I'm happy with my 10, I will never get rid of it
NEVER!
Same love my 10
Me 4th. I still keep my baby w 40k miles.
Man what camera are you guys using for the recording? It has amazing quality!
I really want to get an evo 7 or 8. If I did, I'd probably get a Japanese one, the ones in america are kind of overpriced right now
Evo X is my dream car, I just started getting i to cars and I’m already getting super excited to mod cars
As a southeast asian man once you have evolution gen. 1or X your a champ.
for me the the desire one will be evo-0, aka galant vr4, the car that started it
Had a fq360 astonishing car. In the uk were blessed with the first models
which evolution is the Subaru slayer ?????
ALL OF THEM.
EVO IX the perfect killing machine. ❤️
10:17 Sweet!! So much fun to drive I tell ya. Makes me appreciate it even more thanks to this video!! 🔥🔥
Tommi Makkenen didn't have 340hp, it had the same as the 6. Titsnoum comp. Wheel so spooled faster
Evo 10: User friendly for daily driving. Even though Evo 9 wagon is a future import...
There's already one in the US I know of, but I'm almost sure it isn't legal. Feds don't really care anymore really. Before people would legitimately hide their cars to prevent from being found out by the feds and crushed, but nowadays everyone is posting their shit on social media.
6 is my fave but id happily take mr8
1, 2 and 3 were bad ass cars back in the day.
damnnn...I own a Cedia in India which is a baby EVO 8 with a 4G94.
It's got 115 Bhp, a fraction of the real deal. But for the Indian roads, it's a freaking assassin souled machine.
Feeling blessed to own a Mitsubishi on the Indian roads.
9 the pinnacle of evo line!.
I love my 9, but 7 is my favorite.
Genuine question: why would you prefer a 7 rather than the 9? I had an evo iv but the ix was always my dream evo.
The 8-9’s are by far the best IMO
6.5 is good too. Still not as beautiful as 8 & 9
Let's give the EVO III some love. God I love mine
Same bro 🤙
Ngl if Mitsubishi brings back the evo as a hybrid or electric I'd be happy if it's true to the heritage. Hell, call it the Ecolution if you will
But remember I'm Japan there had the hourse power restricted to 260bhp back on the 90s, but there very easy to take to 350/360 bhp just by changing fuel pump, decat and a map on the 7/8/9
Evo 3 💥. Rally born light as hell no fear no air bags.
The Evo( gen 8 - 10) look so clean without the rear spoiler.
I've got an Evo 7 but the Evo 9 is definitely the creme of the crop.
I get them confused too the evo 8 & 9 but those are the best looking evos ever made. I would love 2 own one. It's a true jdm car.
I really like Sean and Alex. Their contents are amazing.
Evo 4 and the Evo 8 or 9 for me. Family had an Evo 4 as a family car and the evo lineage grew on me... plus the Evo 8 kinda looks sexy.
Great when running. But that is the Caveat , unless you don't touch the motor, then good fun cars. But the transfer case is the weak link. Well done.
All of them are great! I love my 10 and will not get rid of it ever ❤️
I had a 06 sportback in seamists blue loved that car but had to get rid of it, I did a little research and the only diffraction between it and the j spec wagon, was the fenders quarters driveline and a couple of other small items, and they can all be imported from Japan but irregardless of where your at its a very rare car, if I ever find another I'm gonna do my dream evo build
I agree with the VIII.
Evo 5 😍 the trunk and wing pointy and big 🔥
I had bouth 9 and 10. the then is more like an race car, mutch faster turnin and stiffer chasis, and the awd is even more better tahn the 9.
the 9 is more like a gocart but you feel it is an old car. but it is more fun to drive.
i ceep the 9, but i want the 10 again.
Evo 6 is my favorite and plan to have one parked next to my blobeye when they become legal to import.
For looks, I'd choose evo 4 and 5
After owning a 9 and getting an X, i have to say i think the 4b11 is a better engine, as well as the X being the only US model with AYC. Im making 603 with fuel system, cams, springs/retainers and a gtx3576 on a "stock" internal engine with absolutely zero issues so far. 4b11 with 4 bolt mains, and took the few issues the previous models had and fixed all of them
JDM 9 GT in white is my personal favourite
I just bought a 2002 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 7 GT-A which is the automatic version from auction, waiting for it to arrive to Canada, I was looking for a manual Evo 7 GSR but prices are in the 22-25k CAD landed to Canada range and only had a 20k CAD Landed budget to work with, I plan to do a manual swap if the auto trans goes out on me, I'm excited for it to arrive.
Loved this video my favourite evo is an evo 4 because I own one lol! They’re awesome cars
Didn't the evos that were sold here didn't have AYC??
Yes and no. For North America, Evo 8/9 didn't have AYC . But the Evo X came with AYC
@@Fergussen that's what makes the 10 so great.
I've been really wanting to import an Evo III for a while, can't wait to watch the video and see if I'm correct on wanting that one the most
i don't think there's really a wrong answer about choosing an evo. as long as you maintain it and it makes you happy,it's the right one.
VIII GSR owner here. Love/hate relationship with it. If these things are touched, you better be careful because these t-cases love to grenade. You also better get used to resistance at high speeds. Not very reliable either. As painful as it sounds, they're better when left alone. Keep em stock
9 def the best, its an evo 8 with MIVEC and improvements to the turbo that made it behave and produce power like a 20g when it was a 16g
Evo 4 is my favorite . It's all there.
My favorite would probably be evo 2 or 3, but evo 4 and 9 takes the second place. And the evo from 2fast2furious is a evo 7
Can’t disagree.. love my ‘15 X though
Evo 8, the most raw evo we got in the states without any of the fancy gizmos
I got the evo 6 but I’d love the 8/9
In stock form probably all of them, however in modified form... definitely all of them.
I've got a 2019 STI & owned a 2006 brand new EVO 9 way back in the day. The Evo is a better mod friendly car than the STI. But the STI is a better daily driver than the EVO.
I think they are equally modable just one costs more. Having a built sti, I know evo guys have some items that come stock I wish the sti had in stock form.
May seem weird as the 8 looks similar to the 7 and 9 but i say the best looking Evo's are the 8 and 4
