I saw them in Bristol supporting Dying Fetus, they were great but need to lower their volume for clarities sake, so much skill in one band they need an audio set-up like Tools to really be heard. Epic band
steven williams Unfortunately bands are pretty much at the mercy of the soundman. Until you get to a point where you have your own production crew its really going to be up to the venue and their soundman to get you a good sound.
steven williams Tool has also sold shit tons of records (at a time when doing so was quite lucrative), and have toured the world for decades. They play in the best venues & have the best equipment. Tough comparison to make, although I agree with your point. BC have so much going on musically, some can get lost. But hopefully they get there, even if never the size of Tool. Love both bands.
