The Argo is THE octave fuzz I've been searching for.

They sound awesome! I just got the KingTone Octaland Mini, and that’s phenomenal, but I think I need an Argo now too!

Man, you're gonna have to report back on the differences between those two. I definitely want to get the Octaland soon, but I would be curious to hear your thoughts.

Will do. Just have to find an excuse for another fuzz pedal 😇.

Hey Mark, I recently found your channel and I'm going through some of your old videos. This review is awesome. Your tone and playing are stellar. I would like to know your opinion on how do you think the Mjolnir compares to the Tumnus, since you had both. I own the Tumnus and it works well with my gear but the Mjolnir keeps me wondering… I think Zach's pedals have a mojo. I own a Mythos Golden Fleece which I love. Cheers!

honestly, I like the Mythos better so I sold the Tumnus. That said I think the Tumnus is hard to beat with as a Klone. I had a real Klon i bought from 2002 and ended up selling it like 4 years ago because there are so many great klones now. They kind of have different vibes to be honest. I am thinking about buying the Wildwood one to compare them too :-)

@@markhopkinsmusic Thanks! That's Great! I'm happy with the Tumnus but the Mjolnir just sounds awesome in the demos... I'm pretty limited in the use of overdrives because I play/record a non master volume 7 watt plexi style amp

@@SergioAureo Aww man, I bet you'd love the Mjolnir! Sometimes I use it as an always on if I have a backlined amp on a gig. Plus Zach is just a great guy.

Mark Hopkins I’m sure I would. I love my Golden Fleece....

Great review man. I just purchased an Argo that should be arriving in a few days. Now I'm extra stocked about it. Do you notice much difference between the tumnus and the Mjolnir? I'm currently rocking a tumnus and have been thinking about maybe changing it out.

Hey Stefan! Thanks for the comment. I personally like the Mjolnir better. For whatever reason it seems more controllable. After I did this video I stacked the pedals and got some monster tones!!! You’re gonna love the Argo

@@markhopkinsmusic Oh man, check them out! They had a record in the early 90's: Its Doyle Bramhall II, Charlie Sexton, and Double Trouble. Based on your playing I think you'll love it. Also full of cool COB tones from Doyle
