The Argo never fails. Dirty amp, clean amp, humbuckers, single coils, neck, bridge, with overdrive before or after, boosted before or after, literally anything you do with it sounds great. You can even hit it with a dimed out big muff being boosted by a tube screamer and it'll still do its thing perfectly. And dead quiet too. Perfect pedal and one of my absolute favorites. And one of the sharpest looking graphic designs of any pedal on the market too.
You ever tell anyone to Argo Fuzz themselves?
Regretted letting mine go, so I just snagged the Summer Vibes and have already gigged it. I discovered how cool the boost function is long ago and it was one of my fav features. it's an octave fuzz you don't have to take off your board. You can just turn the fuzz/blend down and use it as a boost for gigs that don't need fuzz. Thanks for making this, Zach!

Recently got my Summer Vibes edition after eyeing up the Argo for ages. I've got no experience with octave fuzz, but I'm really enjoying experimenting. More importantly for me, though, is the clean boost side of the pedal. I've been searching for the right boosted clean sound for years, and never even got close to the sound in my head. Until now! The Argo is so good it's just knocked my Kingsley Page off the board and is now an always on pedal for me. Thanks Zach and everyone at Mythos - decent people, great company, inspiring tones!
I have one and it is awesome. I let my bass player check it out and it sounded great through his bass rig. Nice work on this one!
Dang it Zach!!!! Now I need another Mythos pedal. This would be my third. Hephaestus , Wildwood Mjolnir on the board currently.

Hoping to get one soon. For me, the blend control is the selling point. Considered the Argonaut, but this offers that extra tweakability.

I built a board with Golden Fleece into my Argo then into my chupacabra into another Argo. I put my wah in front of it all and it’s crazy good.

Glad you put out this post. Have had the Argo on my radar for a while, but have always spent my Fuzz budget on other pedals…this has to be my next one!

I had one, and I had to sell it. I wish I hadn't . It really is a great sounding pedal. It also had the original artwork, and knobs. So I'm really sad about that. Why did you change the artwork, by the way?

How do you use them on your board? Do you stack them together or with other pedals?

I run my Argo into a Dunlop EchoPlex Preamp... into a Quilter Mini 101R.
Both Argo and EP101 always ON!
I run the Blend & Volume at Noon,Fuzz at 9:00, and use guit Vol and Bass Contour to control oompf.
The interaction of Blend and Fuzz levels is really remarkable...the way the Blend melds wet with dry is where this pedal really shines imo. Never sounds layered!
