Mythos Pedals is a small, family-owned pedal company based out of Nashville, Tennessee. Zach Broyles and his wife make each and every Mythos pedal by hand, and though their meticulous attention to detail certainly plays a large part in the Mythos sound, what really sets them apart is how much care goes into each pedal. From the moment Zach walked into our shop to talk to us about carrying his pedals, we knew he was a kindred spirit. Like us, he suffers from Obsessive Pedal Disorder, and the incredible sound of his stompboxes reflects his deep, abiding love of great guitar tone.
Mythos makes lots of killer pedals that do a lot of different things, but they all have one thing in common: their expressiveness. Good pedals feel like an extension of your instrument and amplifier, but great pedals like the ones made by Mythos feel like an extension of your hand. They respond to your touch and give you all sorts of new timbres, colors, and hues to use in your compositions. They can inspire you to play differently, or they can inspire you to find new ideas in familiar territory. What legendary sounds will you uncover? We invite you to take a gander and see where the muse takes you!

This pedal maker struck a goldmine in having Gregory Kochery demo his pedals
Agreed
Big time, Greg is a monster player, but it doesn’t discount the mythos pedals a bit. I think the tones and dynamics of the pedals demo’d is fantastic. Both of the guys showed great personality, humor and were super fun to watch work together. Cheers 🍻
My favorite is the wildwood edition and the fuzz.
Who owns one?
When Greg calls your work "filthy" you know you've done something right!
"Wait a minute - Call security." Greg always the most entertaining guitarist out there. Great to see Mythos making these amazing pedals!
A tone on the Chupacabra and we are in HEAVEN 🤘🙏
I just got the Mythos Golden Fleece mini fuzz, and I love it!
This is one of the best drive pedal video demos I have every see.
that argo is amazing !!!
Ronnie Turk it is!!!
It's really, truly great to see and hear a small pedal business like this one get the exposure and publicity they need and deserve. Thanks to Wildwood, Greg and Zach. Well done gentlemen.
Oh man, that ZZ-Top tone has me jonesing for El Chupacabra... As if getting one will also give me Greg's fingers, LOL
Yup. Had to buy one
Hey at least they put a finger nail clipping in the enclosure
I like the way those pedals sound, man!
They all sound great.
Indeed
I think I need a Chupacabra pedal!
Brian Olendorf it’s awesome!
6:15 love that blues bend
Goosebumps right there
Please release this version of the oracle, that is everything I’ve ever wanted in an analog delay
Mythos is also the name of a fine Greek tasty beverage!
Hate to say it, but, maybe I shouldn't have watched this video... Now I might want yet some more, octave up, fuzzy goodness!! 😜
Great playing (as usual), Greg! Very cool pedals.. I'll be keeping an eye on these guys. Cheers
There were not a ton of choices for overdrive in the 1970s when ZZ made what many consider their best albums. I don't know if Billy even claimed to have used pedals then. If so, and if it was commercially available, it could be narrowed down to 5-6 possibilities.
Chupacabra is no joke
Greg got somewhere to be on this one
If I may. The Chupacabra is worth it's weight in gold. If you're thinking of getting one, just do it.
Mitch Farkas true!
Can the Chupacabra go after the wah like on OD pedal ? Or it a fuzz pedal character ? I am between the fleece and the Chupacabra...Thanks a lot , regards from France
Usually if it's a germanium circuit it likes to see the direct guitar signal by being first in line
Can anyone tell me how the Argo differs from the COB? I know it's a modded COB, I'm just curious what the mod is. Thanks!
metart93 it is a modded COB.
metart93 btw, it is awesome!
He should make one called by the gods!
dang how can i get that oracle prototype!
So two year's later he comes out with a 1347 fuzz that I am very interested in Watch for the stacking fuzz
The clean roll off on the fuzz was nice But I remember correctly he doesn't have battery capability in his pedals All true fuzz junkies use batteries in their fuzz and drives Correct me if I'm wrong Thanks
No batteries, The golden fleece enclosure is too small for a battery sadly
Shame about the clipping, should record it in the usual room perhaps?
The Greek way to spell it is exactly the same way you spell it 😉
Whose nuts ......
The irony of being "into mythology" then getting into the business of "guitar tone" is rich
I cringed when he mentioned Rob Chapman, now that he has been exposed as a fraud...
Anyhow, that says nothing about Mythos. Sounds awesome.
He has been exposed as nothing of the sort. I'm not that into his stuff, but that won't stop me from calling out someone's BS. What a cesspool RUclips can be. Please don't spread that sort of thing.
Never quite understood the hatred towards Rob. He pretty much change the face of guitar on RUclips, paving the way for many others. I don't believe I've ever heard him speak a harsh word against anyone. He always seem very positive. I believe there are some people so miserable, they cannot stand to see others happy.
@@MattyK-USA Explain. He has not been exposed? Have you seen the video?
@@lvpg2943 No. I was a fan of him. But that video was pretty clear.
@@colaboytje "That video" was unlinked based on the thorough trashing it received. "Exposed". SMH
