Ain’t that the truth! Super thankful they chose to lead the industry with this rig. Now the copy cats come out after Z-Man showed how productive it is 🤠🤣
@@FishAnything they are one of my favorite finesse jigs for spinning rods. They are very compact and coke without the weed guard installed. That way you can fish them without them of just superglue them in place. They also come in a pack of two and have great colors!
You went with that wind, pushing bait into the shallows and then you started getting into them real good Ethan. Way to adjust your game plan. I like these little TRD Bugz. They look like they'd work great in a smallie river or creek also. I'm going to try and get out on the kayak in next couple of days to fish but the weather is looking cold, windy and wet. But you gave me inspiration to get out there and brave it. Well done my friend 😊
Love the bulletz. I use them with the Fattyz. Tail sticks up nice. Caught 24 largemouth a few weeks ago and when my wife and I went out on Saturday this weekend the largemouth wouldn't hit on anything until we threw the FattyZ on. Caught 7 after that. Haven't had luck with the bulletz on the TRD but thought it might be because the bait doesn't stand up off the bottom as well as with the finesse mushroom jig.
With the right reel and line and rod you can almost read braile underwater. Rain in my experience is great for fishing. They tend to move up to the shallows. I personally think they do that because the rain is loud and spooks larvae and other small aquatic animals and forces them down more towards the bottom and limits their escape routes. This puts them in a pinch point and bass take ultra advantage of that. when stuff floods they move into that flooded area and eat all types of bugs and animals they dont have huge access to normally. When flooding occurs that's when you can get the biggest bass of your life.
Great video, really like the Z-Mann stuff. However the NED has let me down this year; the past 2 years I caught fish on them almost every time out, this year only 3 or 4 fish total. So it goes, I'll still try these.
For sure, I’m a Finesse TRD guy through and through! These will be nice on rigs other than the Ned which is why they should be a great addition to the box. Super pumped about them as a finesse jig trailer!
The BulletZ is definitely more weedless but it has a different action. I am not super into it personally but I know a lot of folks are. If you are fishing that heavy wooded areas, you should definitely give it a shot though.
@@FishAnything I've actually sense bought some and I'm loosing less to snagz. Hooksetz suck tremendously when im using a zman plasticz and i cant truly Texas rig the zman plasticz as the zman just stretchez and makes hooksetz even harder. But I do loose less.. lol
They are easy to scoop up on the internet so if you don’t find them in stores, you can always check Z-Man’s website or all the other major online retailers!
A bad cast? Hmm...make every cast count! And you did! RAIN? REALLY? TRD bug in the rain! Heck yeah! Wow! He pretty much digested that! Deadly nedly!! Aww! He was born 7 minutes ago!🤣😂🤣...always try to be confident...where’s your net man? TRD bug=bass period...beautiful fish for rainy weather, my opinion...them little Rockies are annoying to me...
Haha I love the way you write stuff down as you watch. That’s usually what I do too! And I personally like rock bass, they always crack me up cause they are ambitious little creatures 🤣
Smoked em' dude! Great video! Z-Man is freaking killing it with their lineup of ned rig options.
Ain’t that the truth! Super thankful they chose to lead the industry with this rig. Now the copy cats come out after Z-Man showed how productive it is 🤠🤣
Been using these on a dropshot. Nice size, buoyant, and good action.
Cool little bait for sure!
I really like the trd bugz. Great little creature style Ned bait. I want to try out the Trd bugs on the Ike micro jigs and the micro jigs from Zman.
Yeah that would be a nice looking little setup. Might have to try them on some of those jigs!

Trd bugz works great on the VMC swinging Ned head

Go get them Fitzy, the fish are waiting for you 🤠 it’s not quite as easy to stay motivated during this cold weather but there are fish to be caught!!

That’s awesome! I need to try the FattyZ on there as well 🤠 thanks for letting me know!!
Must be a bunch of minnows up there shallow in the weeds. Them bass are bulking up for the winter! 👍
That’s exactly right! Probably chasing small gills and other baitfish around on that windblown bank
Great video as always. I’ve got to get some ASAP
Definitely think they’ll be a solid addition to any anglers tackle box!

Definitely agree!!!
Best video on RUclips
🤠 thanks Devin!

That’s odd! It must just be weird conditions 🤷🏼♂️ I run into lakes that the Ned doesn’t work well on from time to time but it usually slays for me!
@@FishAnything It's been an odd year all around.
Tried them the other day on the Ned Rig and the Bulletz and had a great day.
Right on! Glad to hear you’re putting them to work too 🤠
I had no idea these were a thing. Just saw the ticklerz
For sure! Both are excellent choices for a Ned Rig!
Have to try some! But hard to beat original TRD in green pumpkin!!! Glad you had a great day on the lake!

Cannot beat zmans products!!
Darn right! 🤠🎣
Instead of finesse bullet jig head, have you tried a finesse Texas rig with those TRD bugz?
What power rod where you using? Also what size is the reel.
6'10 Mag Light (basically a ML) with a size 2500 shimano reel & 10lb braid / 8lb fluoro leader
When you go to RUclips and search z-man trd bugz you sir are the first video !!!! !
AYOOOOOOOO
I'm currently using TRD CrawZ, both on Ned rig and as a chatterbait trailer. #zman4life #nedrig
Nice! Never used them as a chatter trailer but I suppose they would probably work quite well! 🤠
Gonna try them on a chatterbait
Interesting idea! Didn’t even think of that 🤠
how do you find the hangups on wood and rocks with the bullet? the normal ned head I can hardly use without looking one every 10 casts.
The BulletZ is definitely more weedless but it has a different action. I am not super into it personally but I know a lot of folks are. If you are fishing that heavy wooded areas, you should definitely give it a shot though.

The bama bug! I'm from Bama!!!! Where can I get them?
They are easy to scoop up on the internet so if you don’t find them in stores, you can always check Z-Man’s website or all the other major online retailers!
How do you get good audio with the go pro?
Keep the camera close to my yapper 🤣🤣 the headmount really works well for me!
How is the casting distance vs the original TRD?
One time I had a rock bass blow up on a whopper plopper 130.🤣 #redeyejedi
Hahaha wow! And it’s pretty solid 🤠 the TRD will always be the best but this will be a solid, versatile bait as well!
Can you texas rig these?
Yeah! I would recommend a pretty small hook though. These have a really small body.
@@FishAnything ok thanks ill try it with a 1/0 hook.
Is this lake In Michigan? If so I know exactly what lake this is lol
What color zman trd bugz
I said in the video! I caught most of my fish on the Canada Craw rigged on a Ned Rig.
I just bought these the site said they were new but this vid a year old
Yeah they aren't new anymore haha
TOAD ROCKIES
Heck yeah! I love big meatball fishing 🤠🤣
Throw a spinnerbait my brotha
Definitely would have been good that day! I was too busy trying to break down the BugZ lol

Don’t say Turd Bugs.
