You two sure know how to find the great places. The eastern Sierra is the unknown gem of America. I call it the American Alps. My wife and I volunteered at a Christian camp on the west side f the Sierras across Sonora pass from where you were. We stayed over a weekend one year and went to Bishop and Bodie. We were there in the middle of summer and we’re not prepared for how high ( in altitude ) Bodie was nor how cool ( in temperature ) it was. We loved our trip. It is a truly magical place.
Beautiful sunsets and coastline! Wow! Loved Kona trying to dig a hole to China! What a cutie! Noticed he was trying to get a little shut eye in at the beginning of the vlog but you were talking and he was giving you the sleepy eye. haha Great start to your road trip.
Such fun videos! I want to explore them all. How do you stay so trim eating all that delicious food? I guess all that hiking! Thank you for sharing your adventures!
Hey it's us- Andy and Kris again. We're going more research for our book. Good thing we have your videos to watch!! If you ever come this way, you'll have to share your stories!
Hello Adventurers😊😊😊, I have been watching your video's of your trips to Washington State and those beautiful National Parks, and Cape Flattery...AWESOME! Also enjoyed watching y'alls California and AZ videos. I see that during those trips you didn't have the van yet, in which you do now. I too have explored all of the Pacific Coast Wa to Call as well. I hope y'all are enjoying New England. I can't wait to see were your your travel takes...though have a pretty good idea😊😊😊😊👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍.
You’re brave to watch some of the original ones! Lol! We hope to be doing this route again next year, with many more stops and some slightly better filming skills 😜. This trip was just weeks before we bought the van, but we already knew we were buying it at this point, so it was a fun trip to test life on the road!
So glad you were able to see the waterfall from the road! I wanted to make it to Big Sur on our last trip to CA, but there is always too much to do and too little time! We stayed in a cabin that looked exactly like that at the Moab KOA. I hope you are enjoying this year’s holiday and some much needed rest.
Hi! I love your videos! this sounds funny but, I watch one or 2 videos to start my mornings. since I work from home, it makes me feel like I'm outdoors LOL. I been a fast for the last 6 months! I watch you guy's recent videos as well as you Seattle, Oregon, California and other ones! I just came back from Pismo beach and tried some of the foods you guys review! I think that's my favorite part about your videos! that you also give food reviews and things to do!! anyway, I enjoy you guy's chemistry together and thought i should comment this as an encouragement to keep doing that you guys are doing! :D
Hey Carlos! We're glad we can share our adventures for others to enjoy as well and we're glad you start your morning with us! Pismo Beach is such a cool spot, huh?! Thank you for your very kind comment and thanks for watching!
Too bad you didn’t do the Mt Tallack trail. It is one of my favorite high Sierra trails. The trail head is at the west end of Fallen Leaf lake and proceeds west to Lake Aloha. Then you can move back east around Heather and Susie Lakes before descending back down to Fallen Leaf via a south facing trail. It has been years since I hiked it but I don’t think you two would find it too strenuous. The views of Lake Tahoe are well worth it as is lake Aloha. Take mosquito repellant 😵💫.
I searched on RUclips for California cost, and what should I say - I found again a vid from both of you. Hey from Germany. I booked my flight for my 8 week usa trip last weekend and it will start at the end of February in New York. Yesterday my Annual Pass for the National Park arrived - can't wait to start. I am also on the road from Las Vegas to Los Angeles. Is it worth to take a detour over the Joshua Tree Park instead of driving straight ahead to Los Angeles?
Hahaha funny! This was one of our first ever videos 😬😅 Joshua Tree is pretty cool from what we saw, but we haven’t spent a ton of time there. Hoping to go back this next year. We hear Palm Springs is pretty cool too! If you like Rocky, desert environments, it may be worth a stop! Death Valley is close to Vegas and is supposed to be pretty cool as well.
@@AdventuresofAplusK I will visit Death Valley with an old friend from my Hometown - he lives in Vegas as a jazz musician. I hope Big Sure is open when I am there ;-) ! Have a good one
I'm enjoying your travel vlogs a lot, thanks for giving me so much inspiration for my own upcoming roadtrip. :) Btw Kathryn, hearing your voice always makes me smile because you almost sound 100% the same as my friend Bonnie Gordon from Louisianna. She's a singer and voice actress in L.A., but I guess it would be too much of an coincedence if you knew her. ;-) Judith from Germany
Hi Judith! Thank you so much for the kind words! How cool that your friend sounds like me. I’ve never been a big fan of my voice, but knowing that Bonnie uses hers for her profession makes me like it a little bit more. We hope you have a great road trip and if you have any questions, let us know!
Oi, thanks for the super speedy response! :) I'll be leaving for the US Southwest exactly one week from today, and I'm starting to get super excited (and a little nervous because I'm doing a 4000 km roadtrip all by myself). Your videos have shown me many places I'm aiming to visit now. :) This is the only "talking" (not singing) video I've found of Bonnie, but since it's her show reel, you still don't hear her natural voice a lot, I guess. :D ruclips.net/video/4mafG092Mok/видео.html
You’re going to have a blast! I’m not sure exactly where you’re going, but we have Arizona, Utah, Nevada, and California travel guides on our website too! And I look forward to watching this video as soon as I can grab some headphones!
Hey folks. I know this video is 2 years old. BUT, If you want a great burger. Try 5 Guys. they're all over the country. Safe Travels. Your fans in Albuquerque

I don't think you can beat all those beautiful sunrises and sunsets
I don't think any sunset has beat that Cali one...even years later!
Those California sunsets were spectacular!
I think that is STILL the best sunset we have ever seen! 🔥🔥🔥
WOW! Those sunsets were AMAZING!!! I am really looking forward to seeing all the other amazing spots you visited on this road trip!!!
The sunsets were UNREAL! So beautiful!!! 😍
Headed to the west coast this year will definitely go to California!
California is gorgeous! So much to do and see!

Kona LOVES to dig in the sand haha! This is still probably the best sunset we have ever seen! Cannot wait to make it back to California someday!

Thanks and thanks for watching! Our on camera diet is much different than our off camera diet 😀 plus lots of hiking and other activities!

We LOVE Five Guys!
You can ask for twice cooked fries!
Yum!
Chicharrones... love them! Smells like a fart in a bag. :/
