    Visited Monterey and Carmel many years ago with my husband. Really liked the area. Very pretty. 👍

    Beautiful representation of our neck of the woods. Planning a staycation and will hit up most of these spots.

    That was a nice video esp of Pacific Groves’s coastline. I lived there 1973-75 when my husband was stationed at the Presidio of Monterey. It was very quaint and uncrowded there then. Cannery Row was just being developed into a tourist attraction. It was a beautiful place to live. Now, it’s just too crowded! 😢

    If you like stuffy boring places, this is it. If you’re a bohemian and weird, not the place for you. Steinbeck summed it up perfectly

      what places in CA would you say are better for bohemian types? I mean besides the large cities. I'm looking to relocate.
