I made a Stromboli yesterday, I wish I could show you the picture. I just did Canadian Bacon, Ham,Pepperoni,Cheese Olives,Fresh Basil Garlic and Green Onions... It came out PERFECT.... Don't get me wrong, I like meat but when it comes to pizza/Stromboli/calzones I like more veg then meat. Love the presentation, ingredients, and how simply you put it all together. I will be making this tonight, if my 6 yr old likes it, it will be that much better, if not more for everyone else lol

This looks so good, and different than what I make. The normal Stromboli is with meat and cheese where this has veggies included. One suggestion, I would remove the sausage from the casing before frying, so it’s more of a crumble and not slices. I do this for pizza and dishes also.

I make Stromboli’s but this looks the Best I’ve seen. I will say I throw some pepperoni in mine too with some mushrooms. Awesome. I see you didn’t use an egg wash. It still turned out nicely browned.
Thank you. I do use egg wash, however. You must've missed it in the video. Watch again, you'll see that I mention adding it, as I quickly brush it on, after I place the Stromboli on the perforated sheet pan. 😉🍻

It won't be as beautiful or fancy as this, but it's pretty much like a stromboli. Have any tips for cooking something like this over a grill or a camp fire? I grew up in Philadelphia and now live in Chicago. They have Calzone but no Stromboli. It's not the same. Thank you for this recipe. I have a great bread recipe that worked great with the sausage and peppers.

This has replaced pizza !!!!! It’s our go to and I make this once a month and trust me it’s better than it looks. It’s a lot to do if you do it all at once, plan this out, I chop everything a couple of hours before hand, and then add the olive oil at the end and then mix it up I also grill the sausage !!! Bam !!!!!!!!! Update : We now add mushrooms and it is heaven. My wife eats the left over veggie mix over lettuce or with tortilla chips !!
Wow, that's great and you're absolutely right. This needs to be planned out, especially if you're making you're own dough. You've got to give it enough fermentation time to enhance the flavor!

Add the yeast to 1/4 cup of warm water, add the sugar and stir. If it doesn't rise and look foamy, you need to replace the yeast.
