Another awesome honest video. I have to ask jewelers over the years how to clean chains. They always offered to sell me some type of jewelry cleaner for around five bucks. This was years ago before the internet & RUclips and Jacoje came along. Thank goodness for you guys and your honesty. Thanks for sharing your videos. Stay well & safe guys.
I use Palmolive dish soap and some warm water. Sometimes before the dish soap bath I let my gold sit in white vinegar for about 1/2 hr. Restores that warm gold shine.
do it work on oxidized gold? or tarnished idk the difference tbh but will it work?
Boil the hot water, then hot water and baking soda. Then after the the dirt has risen to the top of the water, take out and rinse in water and use dish washing soap with toothbrush to further clean and give it that shiny polished look and that’s it, good as new.
Aw Man Tried it… AMAZING, Jacoje chains, pieces and bracelet came out looking brand new👊🏽
About to clean all my jewelry! Lol thanks for the video guys!
Great stuff here.
I think its safe to say you should always use the least abrasive method first. Like detailing cars. You wanna try to take the least amount of clear cloat off as possible for the expectations of the customer.
So for example. The most abrasive method would be to completely re polish the cuban link chain, which can be done, however, every time you clean aggressively, you risk losing material, thus, losing money.
This will never do that, just syaing.
Anyway, no clue why i even said that, take care guys thanks for the video.
Daaaaaamn Raquel has them POINTERS on her wrist!! Bussin! I’ve always been skeptical about this method but watching the start and end results has really eased my mind! I might have to try it 😎

Just ordered my first piece of jewelry from you on Father's day as a gift to myself. Thanks for all transparency 👍
I got the 6.5mm yacht link. Love his pieces!
You won't be disappointed. Braden's the best in the business as far as value, quality, and on-point customer service.
@@rp42069 post a review on your channel so we can see and show you some love 👀
When you get your do a review so we can all see👀
Yup. Used this method in the past. Works pretty good. 👌🏼
Perfect timing ⏱ I just ran out of jewelry cleaner! Thanks for this great video boss man🙏
I been doing this method for some time now works great. Best way to clean your jewelry at home.
Thanks for the video, definitely something I need to try out on my jewelry! 🙏
I use this method and its has my gold seriously shining
just did it to my gold bracelet, cook it up for 2-3min, then clan with dishsoap and give it a solid rinse, wow, it looks so golden and shiny now, thanks for sharing this, best cleaning method i used so far
I first started with HOT water and dish soap. That itself works wonders and a soft toothbrush. Now I use the same method but just got an ultrasonic cleaner and that works great as well!
Honestly showering sometimes cleans my jewelry as well or almost as well as a gemoro ultrasonic. For the price I'd rather shower or use your method unless I'm getting it cleaned for free at the mall. Great video!
My uncle done this in the 90s. Great tip for those who don't know this old school method.
your uncle wore gold chains?
Old fashion ways the best way👌🏼
I use warm water and fish soap all the time for jewelry. Cheap and easy. I didn’t know you could you use boiling water. Thanks for the tips!
Fish soap lol
I usually just put a squirt or 2 of Dawn dish soap Platinum in a little cup of warm water and let my chain/bracelet soak in there for a bit. Then I’ll run em’ through a polishing cloth and it looks damn good.

Nice collection you got there Brayden! Smash!

Is it bad to add baking soda while it’s boiling?Cuz that’s what I heard to do and cleans it really well and I have been doing it but not sure if it helps?
Thanks for the tip! I Just cleaned my 4mm flat curb and 5.5 mm flat curb I got from Jacoje and they look brand new!
I needed this for my rope chain
Love this video
That's actually super cool.
This video reminded me to clean my bracelet. Last time I cleaned it I use ketchup, I heard it good for cleaning jewelry. I want a rope chain BUT my only concern would be cleaning if just because it’s tight so I feel like it hard to get in between. Thanks for the informative video
I clean my chain (jacoje), pendant (jacoje), bracelet (jacoje), wedding band (not jacoje), and pinky ring (not jacoje) every morning after I shower. Every single morning. Doesnt take more than 5 minutes. Toothbrush, warm water, and Connoisseurs brand gold/diamond cleaner. All my pieces still look like the day I bought them, especially my 4mm flat curb.
That's some dedication brother! And I thought I was excessive cleaning mine with an ultrasonic cleaner & a tarnish/polishing cloth every weekend.
@@kevinw.2591 I do the same thing , every Friday after work (I’m in construction so with all the dust I encounter) my girl thinks I’m a nut but yeah this dude has the real dedication
@@TheWavyOne92 I have OCD when it comes to cleanliness and organization
@@CHOPPASLUGBM I feel ya ! Keep ur stuff lookin good man
My best cleaning method is ultrasonic cleaner. Not seen anything better than it. Always looks brand new.
i like to put hot water in a PLASTIC water bottle(so it doesnt scratch), dawn dish soap, and just gently swish the bottle around. i like this method cuz u can very clearly see all the dirt floating around in the clear bottle.
Definitely going to have to try this, looking forward to the full cleaning video!
Thats a really great idea. I use the steamer on my espresso machine to clean my links.
That's the best and professional way. Well not the coffee maker but that's a fine dual use.🤣
I never thought about using an old spin brush for cleaning. My heavy link wouldn’t need it though. Those of you that have something more complicated like a rope could definitely benefit from the spin brush 👌
Very helpful Bro, I never knew this 🙏
That’s the method I’ve been using for years. I just purchased, this year, an ultrasonic cleaner. So far so good.
Does it like bend your jewelry? Kinda scared of that happening
@koalacheeese5201 lol an ultrasonic cleaner will absolutely NOT bend your jewelry... might lose some stones if they're loose tho
Thanks for the shoutout Braden. I cant believe i boiled my 5mm franco and walked away from it 🤦🏻♂️😂
plz tell me it didnt go completely dry lol
@@lawrencewilliams6923 yeah it was dry for a while. The chain turned black and white like as if it was in a fire.
@@therealrayg-lv2546 damn, did it cause any permanent damage?
@@lawrencewilliams6923 after scrubing with a toothbrush and dawn dish soap multiple times a day for a week (i was stressing) i got most of the white residue off. It looked really dull but i had it professionally polished so now its 100 percent back to life like the day i got it. Yeah never walk away when boiling it. I almost had a heart attack when i saw it all burnt but i knew gold can withstand some shit lol
@@therealrayg-lv2546 dawg… this is the funniest shit I ever read.
Over time the quick heating and cooling wouldn’t expand the gold?
I’m gonna try that right now on my chains. I used to use a small sonic cleaner but I ran out of the solution and I don’t know what is safe in there. This seems simpler. Thanks guys
Ultrasonic don't need special solution lol... have mine from amazon going on 3 years, hot water, dawn, and good to go
I'm wondering if this method would work with my tri gold rope chain im worried if the white and rose gold turn yellow
A Lil Dawn and hot water works great also
Yes np
I do this at least once a month too but I add a squirt of dawn dish soap to the boiling water
Does this method also work on tri color chains ??
This work with silver ?
Good to know!!
Very cheap clean thank you
Been cleaning my shit for years like this. Gotta stay on point !!!!
I will try this with my gold ring and bracelet
Boiling water works, but honestly the most effective thing I’ve come across, is to just stick the chains in the dishwasher. They come out brand new. I do this once every few months
This sounds stressful lol
@@jordandavis2495 try it sometime, it’s the best way to clean them
💎💎💎 🔥 great video
I’m going to try that today on a few items
Invested on a little ultra sonic cleaner
Toothpaste and warm water works really good also
Raquel's diamonds are dancing sheeeeeeesh
I love that PAN 😮 what material is it??
Omg I never knew you could do that
Wrap the pieces in a towel with a clothes steamer helps the cleaning process
I add a few drops of dawn to my connoisseurs gold jewelry cleaner 👌 just to really get that neck grease off i wear mine daily so I clean them often not because they are dirty but just being I actually injoy cleaning my gold and my silver peices.
I do the exact same
@@koston86Z i think the jewelery will thank us in the long run lol
Lol yeah even though it was in a hip hop music video, in "All In" Lil baby was putting all his iced out chains, rings and watches in a big pot of boiling water and using a toothbrush to clean them also first then drying them out on a towel.
Them diamonds are dancing now lol Raquel is a genius , I never new about this method. Definitely would have never thought to put expensive jewelry into boiling water.
Can you do silver with this method
do a chlorine treatment video I went to pool now my jecogy chain turned another color how do I get it back to yellow HELP!!
Smash smash smash !!! Have a great day guys !!!!

I use the microwave and dawn... soft bristle tb...💯👌🏾 to clean four chains i bought from you...👍🏽
wait, u throw that muhfucka in the micro waves?
@@lawrencewilliams6923 i micro the water then 30 second in a little dish take it out add dawn add my chainz boii. let em marinate. Then take my brush to em.💯
How did Raquel family get into the jewelery business. Maybe one day yall do a Q&A
Thank you for the informative videos, I used to clean my bracelet with ketchup but now I will be using a spin brush… that’s a smart way to do it because it will definitely get in between the links.
lol
Love that Jacjoe shirt with charger colors ❤️ smash. Also the thumbnail for the video looking like ramen 🤣🤣🤣
Needed🙏🏼
Those diamonds are hitting!!
I like to use my ultra sonic cleaner… I might try this if it ever breaks tho..
I'm going to try this. I had never boiled, just warm water and dish soap since dish soap is made to cut through oil n grease. I was mine pretty regularly because I'm OCD lol
How often can I clean my 14k solid gold rope and diamond chain?
Lowkey I just shower with my chain and it still shines like new
It’s 🔥🔥🔥🔥 that y’all have matching tennis bracelets. Raquel looks like she’s been cleaning jewelry since she was a kid 😂 A couple pros
i just swish my chains around in hot/lukewarm warm with dishwashing soap. easiest/quickest method!
I'm not really a fan of long daggers but her nails are beautiful, maybe it's associated with her beautiful hands
About how long did you bowl them for?
Heck yeah! Super stoked!
I use a polish clothe first then the ultrasonic machine with connoisseurs jewelry concentrate. And I always use hot water from my Keurig.
Ultra sonic in hot water then I Baking soda, aluminum foil, and boiling water for 5 mins then tooth brush to get all the hard to reach places. then for diamonds after all that last step I also add into a gem cleaner after
Maybe I missed it, but how long were they boiling in the pot?
Just a couple minutes. The other account that responded is a scam
I have that same cheap power toothbrush to clean mine lol
I boil mine then clean it and then I use my cleaning and polish cloth
hehe, just did it 14 days ago ;-)
❤
I'm too scared boiling water might fuck up my jewelry
I LOVE YOU BRADEN!!
Yea I shower with my jewelery, but you have to actually clean it, as soaps and dirty will get stuck in cracks and crevices. Diamond pendants as well. Little bitta soap, and a small soft tooth brush and scrub
Shop Jacoje!
Funny but the running water sounds like sizzling bacon.. lol
😢we got some hi-power trickin goin on😂
I just use 90% rubbing alcohol and soak it for a couple minutes 🤔. For silver I use aluminum foil, boiling water, baking soda, & dawn dish soap
