You’re talking about a 18-24K dip over the real solid 10-18K gold unless it’s 10-14 dipped into 18K I think it’s retarded to dip any type of karat. Yeah definitely don’t polish your jewelry. Several videos of jewelers polishing Cubans and after they are done the Cuban is like 3 or 4 grams lighter but, that’s just the nature of the metal whenever gold gets scraped or scratched too hard you’ll lost some of the metal.

Not true at all , it really depends. I’ve seen 10k that looked real butter yellow. Infact my 10k Cuban has more gold yellow than my 14k rope chain.
