French jeweler here, great informative video, i would like add somthing extra, never use toothpaste either, there are small abrasive material in toothpaste that can mirco scratch diamonds and Moissanite like butter
Also NEVER do this method with watches, the gaskets making the watch water proof/resistant by melting the gaskets from the high heat, remember these gaskets are either silicon or just rubber (silicon does disperse heat better then rubber)

If me i soak it to vinegar first at least 15 mins then boiled it another 15 mins then brush it using soft brush with dishwashing liquid. 😊
Gold is soft I don't think you should be putting your precious gold in boiling hot water, I soak mine in jewelry cleaner for about 30 to 40 seconds taking a soft brush cleaning the front and back side to loosen up any residue, then I let my gold jewelry sit in lukewarm water for about 30 seconds, after that, run water on it for about another 10 or 15 minutes and gently go across it with a towel and let air dry for about 30 minutes.

Hey, Yes, you can still clean your jewelry using this method. Just know that your jewelry will tarnish over time. But, all gold plated will tarnish eventually. Thanks for watching 💯.

24k is Pure Gold. 14k is considered Solid Gold 💯
Bro your doing to much. I wear my chain an pendent in the shower an while im in there i take it off my neck an hit it real good with the soaped up wash clothes. An just dry it with my towel when i get out. It be mad shiny. I get it when i got my jewelry first i did the same thing. Both ways ain't no difference.
