I work for Pandora and enjoy the jewelry's before-and-after look after cleaning, especially the dirty/tarnished ones. Seeing my customers' eyes light up when they see their pieces look brand new gives me great joy. Yes, the employee discount is great.
Hello since you work there can I ask I have a very tarnished one that's actually brown and looks bronze and no difference after dawn soap and scrub. Don't have a jewelry cleaning cloth but would Pandora be able to completely clear that brown? Thanks!
Tarnishing is a natural process especially with silver. Do not try any crazy methods as what you do is fine. Some people do not like using a brush (unless very soft) as it can make fine scratches but then again that will happen from just wearing. If you wear more often you will have less tarnish and the jewelry will only need a simple wipe with the polishing cloth. If you keep them in bags (even the little white pandora bags) it can decrease the process of tarnishing as it blocks exposure to the air. Gold jewelry also tarnishes but a much slower process. Funny I just polished up some Pandora jewelry last night and am making an effort to wear it more. After all we all did spend that money $$$😂
ok so I'm not crazy because 3 months ago I had my bracelets in anti tarnish bags and when I went to put them on I noticed some had brown spots on them and freaked out thinking the bag might have been defective or idk I must have been near something that made them that way even looked like something was eating away at some of the charms . I quickly put them in dawn soapy water and scrub away. took forever but I did fix them some charms still have tiny bit of it left not sure why. maybe just still little dirty but to see you clean these made me little more calm. Pandora gets expensive through out the years while you buy and keep collecting I would cry if I were to damage them all lol. plus I was waiting for this video!! long over due lol ♥💋
That polishing cloth is really good. No no please don't use toothpaste. Jeweller's have told me it puts pitting on the silver. Also takes off the oxidised details that are meant to be there. And never use bicarb soda either. What you are doing is just perfect. Only thing I wouldn't recommend is leaving your charms on the bracelet when you first soak it. I take everything off first. Also if you have pearls or natural stones Pandora (and me) don't recommend soaking them. The water can wreck the glue that holds the pearls and even where there is no glue it can discolour and shrink the pearl over time. Water gets in behind murano glass and natural stones and causes discolouration too. Your video was very enjoyable to watch. I look forward to seeing more of your jewellery, especially if it's more Pandora.
@@ladrenathomas53 it's important to get the old skin cells, dirt and body sweat off first. Regardless of how clean we are there is some on, and inside the charms. I don't wash my pieces every time I polish them but sometimes that's what's necessary otherwise we are just rubbing the partials in and risk scratching with the polishing cloth. The cloth is for the tarnish after the dirt is removed.
I did the baking soda thing with the Reynolds’s wrap OMG did I regret that! It wasn’t even badly dirty but once I removed it it started to tarnish. I then had to spend an hour polishing it to get all that off. For a minute there I thought I had ruined all my Pandora stuff. I almost cried. I will NEVER. Ever . Do that again. Soap and the Pandora cleaner is all I will ever use.
The Pandora rep told me a trick … keep them in the little plastic bags when not wearing them. When you purchase items ask to keep the zip lock style bag. Then I put that plastic bag into the cloth bag. Of course I still clean my jewelry every couple months but my pieces do NOT tarnish.
How do folks let it get this bad? I’ve owned pandora jewellery for 10 years and cleaned it with a cloth once/ twice a year 😮 and it’s always looked new!
That makes a lot of sense!! Because it's the natural oils in the skin that cause the silver to tarnish and Dawn dish soap is the best for attacking grease and oils. I also collect Alex and Ani bracelets. I'll have to try this technique on them.
Great job! I too find it so satisfying cleaning up my Pandora and other sterling silver jewelry. I did make a huge mistake once though. Watching a RUclips video on soaking my jewelry with tinfoil, baking soda and boiling water. Don’t do it. One of my precious Pandora feather necklace was ruined because it took a piece of the feather down to whatever is under the silver. Looks a little like bronze
Thank you for posting this video,i need that polishing cloth. I was disgusted by my Pandora bracelets after my habit died down. I had bought 5 snakes and one bangle lol then they tarnished and they got thrown to the side, the round Pandora snake one i hated broke/ threw in the garbage and the still nice heart bangle i gifted. After research i see silver does tarnish so i cleaned with dawn soap (looks better) and now need the polishing cloth. I saw that the baking soda and vinegar can harm them so i didn't do that method. Feels good to wear them again i also spent my money on them to wear .
you have so much beautiful pandora jewelry!! you should do a comparison next time of what it looks like how you do it and then how it looks with pandora cleaning it for you
one of the cheapest and easiest ways to store silver jewelry I've found is in an air tight plastic bag! as the air will tarnish it fast while its sitting out! :)
Very nice video, but I don’t want to see you hold up the bowl of water and show it; then hold up the bowl as you put the detergent in it; then hold up the bowl to show us when you put the bracelet in the bowl of water; then hold up the bowl when you take the bracelet out; then hold up the bracelet while you begin to polish it. I would like to see the entire process in front of me on the counter where everything is visible and easy to follow and see the entire process taking place! That is so much easier. Keep up the good work!😊
Hey girl i’ve been working at pandora for about a year and a half. More store was a franchise but is switching to corporate next month. Any tips on what corporate is like?
Hey! I actually worked at a franchise too but I had friends who worked at a cooperate store. honestly from what they made it seem like it was way better than franchise. You learn and understand way better because you actually have the company behind you compared to someone who just owns the store.
I've had my bracelet for 4 years and it has never look like this I take it to the Pandora store and get them cleaned like every 6 months or less I think it looks dingy but I always keep them in their dust bag and I wear them when I washed my hands or put lotion on so I'm not you know extra cautious with them but I don't know what she put her bracelets through because mine's never look like
I just watched the old one and I'm here to see the updated one a year or so later. :'D IDK why but this is relaxing. Subbed for the chill vibes, much appreciated m8!
If u don’t take care of ur stuff, yes this is gonna happen. I wear my jewelry everyday, shower, etc in it, clean with ultrasonics once every 2-3 weeks, and it still looks new. Just take proper care of ur stuff, it’s not rocket science. Silver tarnishes. If u have solid 14k, u can go years without polishing and it will not tarnish…if ur gold is tarnishing it’s definitely less than even 50% solid gold!!
Why do they overprice everything especially the lab grown diamond jewellery and pay their workers even the manufacturersHarley anything that’s what I want to know
I just decided to find my pandora bracelet from years ago and it’s soo tarnished. I tried dawn dish soap, and a second round of vinegar and baking soda. Still has a little leaft 😭 btw is that a corner of the Assyrian flag? 😍
Do you have a polishing cloth?? I feel like the cloth is what brings that shine back. And yes it's a Assyrian flag! I'm not Assyrian but my boyfriend is.
Yeah we know you have that many views on the last one that’s why you keep coming back making the same content on the same exact bracelets. If you would stay consistent on your contents you would probably do well not just random things that no one cares to watch

Retired charms are everything 🙌🏽. Enjoyed this.
it really is! They were more vintage looking. Now the charms are way too Gen Z . If that makes sense 😂

same.

she literally said she wasn’t wearing them for a while
People who live in climates with higher humidity.
Mine bangs on the desk when working so I don’t wear daily. I put it my jewelry box and it tarnished
I got mine as a gift. And was never really a fan. Haven’t worn it in years and found it all tarnished. Thats why
If you have it sorted away it just gets like that
I love polishing my silver jewelry. I find it very relaxing to do. Just did it an hour ago while watching my show, lol. ❤
Yes, yes and YES! I would love to see a video of your jewelry collection. I love those so much! Thanks! Lol
Omg!!! Your bracelets were so shiny afterwards. I’m currently trying your method as we speak. Thanks for sharing.
Please I beg more pandora videos. I’m obsessed. 😢

Love this! Thank You! I love Pandora jeweler and this was very helpful!!
I had mine still in the box and it turned brownish with the charms idk why it turned like that
In comparison with silver jewellery bought elsewhere even antique pieces Pandora silver blackens faster and the silver Is definitely inferior .
Lizzie Youre so pretty 😊😊 also they do a free cleaning at every pandora stores
What are the most sought after Pandora jewel ,?❤
Great video..I love your personality.
Thanks for sharing! I hit subscribe!
Can we use baby soap or shampoo?
Probably not strong enough, get the Dawn.
I accidentally went in the ocean with my bracelet 😭😭😭😭😭 will this method fix it??
I love their brush. Also, your method is perfect and definitely effective.

U should have taken the charms of and cleaned it.
Help!!!! I cleaned my pandora bracelet with hydrogen peroxide and it tarnished. Help !!!
How many years does pandora jewelry last if it’s well treated??
I've had my bracelet for 4 years and it has never look like this I take it to the Pandora store and get them cleaned like every 6 months or less I think it looks dingy but I always keep them in their dust bag and I wear them when I washed my hands or put lotion on so I'm not you know extra cautious with them but I don't know what she put her bracelets through because mine's never look like
Forever . I’ve had my bracelet 6 yrs and counting
I know this was a year ago, but I gotta say DO NOT soak your muranos...they'll end up with water spots that DONT go away near the core
U have it Medusa like me!
