All of the black on the cloth is not tarnish coming off your watch lol. The cloth is infused with Polish that gets activated when rubbed over a surface, also protects the jewellery for a while as well. You could take a brand new never worn piece and use the cloth on it and it would be just as black as it was on something that's 60 years old. Just saying
Is the cloth reusable? Could you wash it and use it?
It is definitely reusable but I would not wash it
I appreciate the random product reviews.
ima4ster Thanks, I figure why not? If I like it, others might too.
Just what I needed
👍
Those clothes are fantastic and the dark part is still usable as the more and older the cloth the better it works ,I live the brand and the also sell liquid and disposable clothes in a pack with about 24 small one it.
you have beautiful jewelry!!! def gonna buy that cloth! thanl you (:
That black stuff on the cloth is not really stuff that "comes off". It's a chemical reaction.
Say u swear
They are my go to jewelry cleaner
Oh wow! I did not expect that to work so well. Great vid Sir!
TheRealCobraBurnout Thanks very much. It surprised me too.
Beautiful Ring for sure in Black Onyx and the 100 year old Ruby is exquisite, personal I like all Karats of Gold from 10k ,14k ,18k ,22k the lower karats 10k & 14k are better for stone settings ,🤠 👍 nice review and good taste in jewelry and well as you other collectables.
power play 4 real Thanks. Appreciate that!
Great video, highly appreciate it my man
👍👍
Thanks for this video review. Seems like it's well worth the 6 dollars. About that larger ring, it looks great but it would look really good if you got that stone polished up. Then it would look fantastic. Thanks again.
Thanks
Love this video thank you
Very kind of you. Thanks
Thank you. I purchased this using the link in the video description. Hope you got something out of that. My 2007 gold Omega De Ville looks better than ever.
So glad it helped you out. That Omega is a beautiful watch. Thanks
Thank you for your review :) Your jewelry is more sparkeling ~ I can't wait to purchase the gold cloth also 🥰
lynn rose Thanks, I’ve used it over and over again and it’s still great.
Cranking out the vids.. love it!
Chris Sproles Lol. Thanks buddy!
Love that cuban link. Whats the width?
Hi Guncllector007, Just finished watching the video. I would love to add my 2 cents, maybe it can add a perspective to this topic. Be very Careful when steaming your watches or jewelry. The steam can actually degrade the gluing used on diamonds or gems attached, and after awhile will fall off.
Will a polishing cloth work? Yes it will, question is more how a polish works.it uses abrasion to remove layers of metal on the superficial layer. This is why it becomes shiny because it is exposing the layers underneath that had 0 contact with sulfides and oxides in the air. But removing layers of metal also means damaging the watch or jewelry that you are cleaning in the first place, removing enough layers to equalize to the point of removing the stretches is alot. People using this on Luxury watches such as a Patek or a Rolex will no longer have a "virgin" watch and will not have the fine edges. Polishes in general are bad for watches. I Personally use and recommend Coat & Shine, which does not use abrasion, cleans all metals as well as using nanotechnology to create a protection layer that prevents the exposure to oxides keeping the watch shine lasting longer. I hope I helped other watch lovers.
Thanks very much. Very good information.
@@GunCollector007 not a problem, only want to help
So I have a 22k gold Cuban link what product should I grab to clean it . Iv been using dishwashing soap in water and letting it sit in that .
@@JonFiorino thank you for your valuable information. Could you tell me if the parts of a watch that are brushed will stay brushed? Maybe rub in the same direction of the brushing? My intention is to remove small scratches. Thank you very much
@@MegaHomo100 I do the same. Just soap and water then towel dry that's it🤷🏾♂️
Beautiful pieces!
Thank you!
Nice polishing cloth if you have some nice jewelry....Good stuff....
Thanks buddy, just saw this lol
@@GunCollector007 That is too funny.... : )
I’m getting Robert De nero vibes been waiting for him to say” hold on one second “ turns around shoots a guy turn back then say “ anyway back to what I was saying “ act like nothing happens *😂😂
How often can I use the gold solution cleaner and cloth for 18ct gold ring? I’ve been told weekly but also told cleaner can damage gold if used too often
I’ve seen no damage after years of using it.
I have a silver necklace , 3 months ago I gave it to a jewel store to make it shorter because it was little to big for me. I think he used some kind of heater because when I got it back the necklace was much darker in color and its shininess had disappeared. Do you think the connoisseur could help to remove the dark stains from the necklace ? I would appreciate any feedback!
It may fix it and if not it won’t cause damage and was not expensive.
does it like polish polish smooth it or is it like itll leave microscratches if u look carefully?
Looks smooth to me
007 with the bling ⌚
Layeo Red Lol. Just a few.
Very interesting! Would you happen to know if it could be used on gold plated jewellery? I have a Cartier tank (leather strap) with gold plating finish and is somewhat tarnished. I am afraid of doing more harm than good if I tackle it myself, but am massively discouraged from going to a Jeweller, due to high costs for this type of watch. Thanks in advance.
Really not sure. Might try a small spot first
@@GunCollector007 Thank you!
You know if you save enough money for the real thing, you wouldn't worry about anything happening to it because it's real. Just an advice I know we all gotta start somewhere
I use the solution dunk it in let it sit for 30 40 seconds then use the small brush then finally rinse in filtered water before drying with micro fiber towel . The cloths work great as well but they can be harmful long term. I was told not to use them on 18k or higher if you clean your jewelry regularly so I switched to the liquid, also I’m pretty sure your not supposed to use the cloth on different stones Ruby’s emeralds etc. something about the different levels of porosity.glad to see you back 007 there’s Ben a definite void in the community. Hope all is well thanks for the info.
Omerta 1589 Thanks very much. I have some time now so I’m back doing something I love doing, making RUclips videos.
What could I soak gold in to remove polish? I had a Franco chain polished, I didn’t like the darker shade it became so I used that cloth but I couldn’t get in between the links. Now it’s 2 tone, still dark where the cloth won’t reach.
I would use this: amzn.to/36ZXCCy
@@GunCollector007 thank you
@@henrytran9832 nah just don’t get it polished n you shouldn’t have that problem, go buy your jewelry in person not online. You’ll see what it looks like, and how it fits.
I would try both. amzn.to/3quexoR
What’s the difference between the silver and the gold cleaning cloth? I used the silver one on my 18k gold ring, is that okay?
I did the same thing. Pretty much the same
If you don’t mind me asking what movie did the onyx ring make an appearance in?
It was a pretty famous Italian style movie.
Enough said. Awesome!
And what do you do for the watchs crystal?
Get a new one.
I mean for cleaning it, do you use the same cloth?
Yes
What does it mean when I use those on gold and the goldfish color turns to silver
Goldish*
Maybe it’s just gold plated?
Hey, can I use this cloth to clean gold plated silver jewellery or should I use the silver polish cloth?
They make them just for silver
Did it remove scratches
Yes, not all but a lot of them.
GunCollector007 will it get rid of micro scratches?
Yes
can it help with the scratches
Yes
@@GunCollector007 the cloth is abrasive?
Nice watch Good tip you say you put it in the ultasonic cleaner. Hopefully not the watch itself. The bracelet yes but you will ruin the fine components of the watch in the untrasonic. Hold a bit of tin foil in the ultrasonic and see what it does to it. Wish you all the health to weat your jewerly.
Thank you
Is this Robert De Niro talking lmao 😂😂😂😂
No, but I am related to him.
@@GunCollector007 Robert is my favourite actor. Please convey my greetings to him if you can. His fan from India 🤩
Btw I just loved your design of ruby ring. Can you tell what is it called? I'll get it made for myself!
@@GunCollector007 can you please share a picture of your ruby ring? It will be helpful. My email is tusharhl21@gmail.com
Do you throw the cloth away or can it be used multiple times?
MrRapeman23 You can use it over and over.
And do you wash the cloth?
You don’t. After hundreds of uses it’s still going strong
Eduardo Ruiz Macías
Can it be washed
I doubt it.
Can gold jewlry polish cloth clean silver jewelry???
I’ve used it on silver.
Can I clean pure 18k gold chain?
Yes.
Do y’all know why my neckless still stains my hand after polishing it ?
No
Love your all gold watch . I wear smaller watches like that too since my wrist are skinny and smaller . I'm not into the massive oversize watch most men wear
Thank you.
Hey I’m freaking out. I dropped my new pendant last night on my title floor n I see it has a few really small scratches n one scratch that is slightly bigger. I can barely feel it with my finger nail but it’s not big or noticeable. Will a professional jewelry store be able to polish out deeper scratch?
@@Jamalbias1700 I would take it there and show them if they can then I would do it
@@Jamalbias1700 I would say they can definitely buff it out. Good luck.
@@GunCollector007 thanks I’m really down about it. My dog passed away from cancer 3 weeks ago at the age of 3 and then this happens. I really hope a good jewelry store can buff it out like u said. The scratches are slightly bigger than micro scratches, n one of them can be felt slightly like I said in my other comment. Thanks
Does it rub gold off?
No
The silver cloth is superior. Even for cleaning gold, worked in a jewellers for years and never used the gold cloths.
I’ll try it next as I now have a ton of silver jewelry. Thanks
@@GunCollector007 no worries. Silver tarnishes as gold doesn’t really. So anything that can polish silver will polish gold effectively that was always our reasoning.
We stopped selling the gold cloths eventually as they were twice the price for an inferior product.
Walmart sells these for 4.98
Wait fr?
Just like cape cod..
