My family used to take festive meals together at a restaurant in NYC called Fish...oysters, wine, great seafood. Turns out that he was making a trip to Joe's, which was a near neighbor. He was passionate about their delicious, reasonable pizza, and really didn't care for seafood all that much. Your video made me smile at some funny, wonderful culinary memories. Glad you enjoyed my husband's favorite sneaky meal.

I'm so happy you and Camera Man are here in the States! LOVED the video. I'm in the Midwest but I know there is a way you're "supposed" to eat NY style pizza - you fold it long-ways. The slice is the same shape and the toppings are all in the middle while the crust becomes a bottom and top for your pizza sandwich. I hope you will visit some places for breakfast and order REAL hash browns (the shredded potato cake you guys have in England at breakfast is what the McDonald's here in the U.S. serve - not real hash browns). I'm guessing you guys will also go to Chicago, LA, and someplace in Texas before heading back home. I won't take it personally if you don't visit the fly-over part of the country where I live ;). Have fun and be safe.
Hash browns aren't really a breakfast food, especially if you're eating a Full English. Surprisingly, we don't tend to eat potato-based foods when breaking our fasts. I consider hash browns (the real deal, with potato, onion and cheese) to be a replacement for chips or mashed spuds when cooking for the family.

@@Cinemaphile7783 Yes, voice recognition software actually fail to recognise certain Glaswegian (as well as Geordie and possibly Yorkshire) accent. One thing I can mention is, despite his not necessarily light accent, Danny speaks in a very polite manner, with every sentence followed by "please" when making order (quite like an average Briton though), people pay better and kinder attention to what he says. And that apart from his generally quite congenial attitude towards his fellow human being.
@@mmmoroi Yes, he's much more polite than your average New Yorker that's certain. hahahaha...for sure!!
That’s one of my worries-that our police will give him a hard time. Hopefully they’re familiar with his channel.
@@gailatkinson1955 I don't honestly think that they would know the channel as he's from England in the UK.
@@margaretconnery7422 I have seen right many subscribers on his channel from the US. It’s where I am from so hopefully others have seen it as well. One of the best channels ever!! ❤️
@@gailatkinson1955 Awh fingers crossed and toes cheers 😍
I am impressed that most Americans can comprehend Danny's accent without a hitch. To be fair, you may wish to try La Porchetta in London (Muswell Hill). Excellent taste at reasonable cost.
The only accent that I find needs subtitles is the country Scotts accent.
Being from New Jersey myself I'm used to hearing English accents from all over Canada, the US, and many English speakers from the Caribbean islands. I've also worked with Greeks, Turks, Somalis, Nigerians, Vietnamese, Koreans and Chinese. All have their own variation of English accent.
Yes Danny! Sp proud to see how you've blown up recently :D
Enjoy America sir if anyone deserves success it's you my friend. Wish you and camera man all the best and keep safe. Keep the content coming.
Pizza Time 🍕
Have a great time guys, im excited for this road trip, the USA will love you.
I'm so proud of him, just awkward in the cab and giving no tip 😂
He's a Yorkshire man !!😂😂😂 But we love him.
The taxi was 14.80 and Dan give him 20 and asked just for 5 back so he got a little tip haha
He did....he said ' just gimme 5 back ' so if he slung him a 20, he got 30 cents tip! Now that from a Yorkshire lad is a very respectable tip!!!😂😂😂😂😂😂
Centre.
I like to think Danny gave him $30 and then said just give me five back.
From his car reviewing his first take away! To New York living the dream! Great to see good things happening to a top lad👊
Looks delicious!
You are a legend! Its only right we get to share you with the world
One Bite Pizza: "some of the best pizza there is...8.5/10"
Danny: "IT'S GOT TO BE A SOLID 10!"
Everybody knows the rules!
Imagine a Dave and Danny crossover 😂
Bollocks to your "plugging", DLE face. Now beat it.
Terrible reviewer
Great entertainer
I've said it before and I'll say it again
That's some tasty crispy looking 🍕. Best of luck to Danny and his crew. Your channel helped many people in the early days of the lockdown. 🙏
You are a great laugh Danny I love watching you getting stuck in mate
So excited to see you in New York and on the America tour! Hopefully going to see some cheesecake whilst you’re in NYC?! And if you make it to Chicago can’t wait to see what you make of the Chicago dog and deep dish pizzas!! Also if you get to Philadelphia you have to check out Reading terminal market and the apple dumplings at the Dutch eating place - most delicious dessert I’ve had ever😝
I’ve got to be honest with you Danny I’ve always found food videos boring, that was until I came across yours. What an absolute legend you are. I absolutely love your videos they are so entertaining and hilarious, you truly crack me up with your humour, you are hilarious. You have come so far in such a short time. I was saddened to hear about your lady but she would be so proud of what you have done and what you are doing. I’m sure you will get to 1 million subscribers in no time. Keep up the great work and awesome content. 😂👏😂👏😂
I hear ya man!
Brilliant Danny, I laughed when I saw your table and chair 🤣🤣 wasn’t expecting to see them……very naive of me. Have fun, it’s an amazing city - I love it there.

@Pete Sanders all the guns 😂
@Pete Sanders well he's in third world country
@Pete Sanders I tell you what, that person's right, my girlfriends son, went to the USA for a holiday, first night he got his drink spiked, in a club over there, and ended up, thankfully alive, but miles away from anywhere, with his wallet & phone missing.
@Pete Sanders life
@@KingPepper41 that’s what he told you, but the guy took some molly instead and lost his mind first, then his belongings. How very naive of you
I'm glad you are adventurous man.enjoy your stay in NYC.
