Our opening story this evening is 'The 11th Hour', an original work by Raymond Beaman, kindly shared directly with me for the express purpose of having me exclusively narrate it here for you all.

I am not a parent myself so I can’t pretend like I know anything about parenting, but isn’t it questionable to expose your 5 y/o to such horror stories? I do think many children’s stories / films / etc. have darker elements to more gently expose children to the harsh reality that is life, but that doesn’t mean showing your small child The Exorcist for example. I can see how the narrator’s voice would be soothing to her but not the story, & even if she doesn’t seem to be listening she’s still probably soaking at least some in. I’m surprised she doesn’t have nightmares, & if she does then the source is obvious. Or perhaps she’ll grow up in love with horror & unafraid of everything, though that itself can be dangerous as I was like that - still am to a degree - & it got me into a lot of trouble. Anyway my older sister exposed me to horror films when I was in elementary school & it deeply affected me, for a very long time. I don’t know when I began not merely enjoying but loving horror ardently, like a switch flipped. I don’t think it happened until my 20s so the fear that she caused me - an intense horrendous fear as I have an overactive mind & crazy imagination - lasted a long time, over a decade. Don’t do that to your kid…
@a.evelyn5498 our daughter was 5 months old at the time is just over 7 months old now. I've listed to Dr creepen for such a long time now and as this is actually my husbands RUclips account I should explain I am a female in my 40s have children ranging from 23 years 22 years 18 years 17 years old daughters an 8 year old son and now my 7 months old daughter. I listed during my pregnancy to help me sleep all through my pregnancy therefore my daughter when born recognised the Dr's voice the tone was calming I very much doubt she understands what she's hearing about at this age so I'm confident that I am doing ni harm to my daughter what so ever. With the greatest respect ❤

Thank you Dr Creepen for putting so much effort into these two stories, albeit I’m unable to finish the second one due to its overload of pretentious content. The first one was enjoyable, and held a twist that I most certainly didn’t expect. And I may have missed some of the true meat of the story itself but it was worth the time to listen. So I’m off to find another one of your works that I hopefully haven’t yet heard and can enjoy a fresh serving of the Drs delivery as no one else can. Thanks again good sir!

The priest's explanation at the beginning from the beginning to 12 minutes in is how I felt when I knew my mom was going to die, long and painfully. She believed God told her if she took a tv drug prescribed by her doctor that she was allergic to would kill her if she took a third dose. She decided to justify herself, claim God changed his mind, demanded not to be judged and demanded grace. In that moment I knew my mom was dead and pain and addiction had taken her over. The moment she compromised her beliefs for pain meds I felt the same thing the priest felt.

First story was good, even if it did kind of have a Fraility kind of plot.....2nd story I just couldn't get into!!!! Narration is always the best though!!!!

I found myself getting distracted from the stories by the bad writing.
Not sure if they had help from ChatGPT with the incredibly formulaic 2 adjectives per noun, or if they're just poor writers trying to sound like good writers but only ending up sounding pretentious, particularly in the 1st story - 'erudite - you keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means'
