I can't listen to guided sleep meditation. Because the second they say "forget about your problems and stress" I immediately think about my problems and stress!
I'd much rather listen to him gently lull me to sleep, telling stories about cryptids that want to tear me to shreds! It's peaceful. Lol.

Another great story Dr Creepen! Although what does baffle me most is how CC did touch on the monsters of Myrtle Beach, yet he only focused on the water dwelling ones. As there are far more monsters in Myrtle Beach than mermaids and mermen. So perhaps there’s a series coming all based on the creatures of Myrtle Beach and their history? I’d be interested to hear more about the few I don’t already know about. As most of my childhood my family had a beach house on Pawleys Island which is about 20 minutes south from MB, and of course we’d go up there a few times during the week that we’d stay in the house, always on the 4th of July. So I have seen much of what that place has to offer! And it can absolutely be terrifying! I have heard that in the past decade since I’ve not been there that it’s been cleaned up quite well, so that’s good news to hear. And I actually hear around NYC many people who go there on vacations. Which I personally always find a bit strange but only because I used to live fairly close. Anyway, an interesting piece by the Child, and excellently delivered by Dr Creepen for us all to get but a glimpse of what that place is like. So should any of you go there for any reason, beware of the abundance of cryptids and other entities! They walk among you unnoticed, they skulk about on two legs. You’ll never see them coming until it’s too late. But hey, it’s safer than Disney World!!! Top Marks to you both! 👏👏👏👏👏👏

Thank you Dr Creepen for the awesome pasta. Excellent story and narration as always, and it's cool that this story is set on Myrtle Beach as I've actually been there. I actually live in South Carolina, and Myrtle Beach isn't more than an hour or two drive from where I live depending on traffic of course. I went there in the late 90s. I live in Summerville, South Carolina by the way. Charleston is 10 minutes away if interstate 26 is empty and I can drive fast.

Girl from the deep.....Hmm, I'm wondering if she's human for the top half, and bottom half fish.....Or fish face and woman body......Up to you to guess which I'd prefer ;) Apparently manatee are high on the list of what 'mermaids' actually were! Doesn't say much for the women of fishing villages! Not quite bed time for me, but it's getting close, so I'll have my ears wrapped round this one soon! Always enjoy the work of Corpse Child. I live in Myrtle Beach, SC i can confirm there are girls named Carly that fall asleep in boys laps in the movie theatre but usually they're having seizures or something because they're making weird sound n bobbing heads up and down my first BJ was during dawn of the dead 2005 age 14 best night of my life 🧬
