Oh dear...wherever do you find these stories from?
I know some of you were impressed by this story, but honestly...it's like something a teenager wrote, or at least, a book that is written for older school children.
It puts detail where no one cares, or it somehow manages to make it sound tacky, like a bad romance novel...ya know?
The plot is predictable and angsty, and it's just..uninspiring, and doesn't give me any desire to want to know what happens next. I just can't seem to care.
This story has been written by either an actual teen, or a very young adult that is new to this story writing and hasn't yet grasped how to make their readers care about any of the characters, or what's going to happen next.
They honestly have a LOT to learn! I would suggest they attend a writer's course or something, to learn to better engage their audience. The ability to do this is a make or break moment with writers, and really sorts the hay from the chaff, if you know what I mean.
I listened right up 'til 28mins in...and then I got so damn bored, I had to stop. I didn't even care if they saved the world or not. See the problem there? A good story should MAKE you care! This entire story didn't have a pulse...much like the zombies they chose to write about.
I know good writing when I see it...and this wasn't it.
I used to write, so very long ago, so it's not like I'm just pulling some uneducated opinion out of my arse or anything.
The only good thing that I can say was that Dr Creepen's voice was nice to listen to.

I've heard worse he should have built up the backstory of the whole moon being green part. Then went on to him exploring outside after a few days went by of this green moon. Shown us some examples of why he was so invested in this heroine of the story so forth. More details on the invading aliens why they decided to do what they did instead of more covert or peaceful methods.
You're so smart. Please teach us how to write. You don't sound pretentious at all!

The aliens plan was to make the earth's population into imbeciles, hmmmmmmm, so their plan was totally redundant.
