‘‘The air is filled with the acrid smell of gunpowder, wails, and the metallic tang of blood. Tuyết moves among the surviving villagers, offering comfort and assessing injuries with a gentle efficiency…’’

I like all the different aspects in the story, as well as the underlying thought of how we are only enemies because of what we are told of others, not what we actually know. Anticipating the next installment.

And I definitely agree with you the story is getting good .
I love the Vietnam War zombies .
I love wartime zombies in general but the Vietnam War era zombies are by far my favorite .
Everyone does the World War II zombies and that's all right but I wish there were more from other War eras .
Love that one Creepypasta there's two parts to it " the Vietnam War Story I Never Told " part 1 and part 2 are good told from two different peoples perspectives .

Perhaps the most hated and reviled American Soldier in modern history was a man named Lieutenant William Calley, a platoon leader who ordered his men to mercilessly and ruthlessly massacre hundreds of unarmed villagers of My Lai during the Vietnam War. It is a disgusting stain upon our memory, and the regret and loathing of that cowardly event is something we must carry with us whenever we deploy overseas. In fact, before every deployment, I personally brief the unit on the values we must uphold and give the example of the My Lai massacre as a consequence of not upholding those values and which caused one of the biggest idiotic blunders that a US Army unit ever committed. Many young Soldiers who have never heard of the atrocity caused by the US Army will often wince at the pictures and hang their heads in shame at the crimes those Soldiers committed decades ago. However, during that tragic day, I will also remind them of the one Soldier who stopped the massacre from being complete. As Lt. Calley's platoon rounded up the survivors to gun down, a lone US Army UH1 pilot, Warrant Officer Hugh Thompson, Jr, saw the massacre occurring and bravely dropped his helicopter between the American Soldiers and the unarmed villagers, and said that if the Americans opened fire, his door gunners would open up on the American Soldiers. His act of supreme valor and honor (for which he earned the DFC Medal) saved the survivors of the massacre, but the foul taste of the brutality carried out by American Soldiers that day still leaves an acrid taste in the mouths of American Soldiers to this day. Thank you to Page Turner 627 for not holding back in describing the brutality of war. T_D

Listen, any service you offer to the country is appreciated, especially by me. But, your descriptions of William Calley are what is cowardly. William was ORDERED to carry out the extermination of ANYONE and ANYTHING he and his men found there. A direct order from his superior was given to him, because anything there was to be considered Vietcong. Were you aware that the Vietcong counted women and children amongst their ranks and numbers? To single it down to William for a scapegoat is not only ignorant, it’s disgusting. If those people were Vietcong, sparing them would have put more American lives at risk. That is hardly patriotic of you. It is irrelevant though because those were his orders. If you have an issue with what happened in Vietnam, place the blame and accountability WHERE IT BELONGS, instead of continuing to blame the people ordered to do all of the work and fighting, while continuing to vote for and pay taxes to the pigs that orchestrate and pick all of these fights!!’
