When you're no longer useful to people like that, they discard you. They make you out to be the bad guy because you dare put down a boundary or call them out for how there's no reciprocation. I had a former friend I used to drive to work, I got fired yet she still wanted me to drive her to work (despite my new job being in the opposite direction). The worst part was I found out later she was the one who got me fired, so after telling her off and severing ties, I told a former coworker everything, she told everyone what my former friend did. Boss found out, former friend lost her job.
Story 1: This is why I’m glad my gas cap cover locks. I once heard an urban legend of a prowler who stole gas from RV parks. One guy who owned a camper van converted his auxiliary gas tank to a septic tank. The thief thought he could siphon out gas from the second tank, only to get a mouthful of septic matter, and spent the night puking in the campground pool.
The money mooching story: OP is nothing but a piggy bank to her. She needs to cut her off. She knows that she's using OP and that's what's really sad about this. I mean, she openly admitted that her boyfriend would lecture her about being more financially prudent if she went to him instead of OP. That shows that it's a conscious choice for her to scam someone that she knows is an easy target and is conflict adverse instead of going to someone who she knows will put her in her place. I guarantee you if OP was broke, she wouldn't even talk to her. I know, because when I had a friend like this. As soon as the money dried up and I was between jobs, she turned into a ghost. Yeah, but I'm wondering how she could drain a full gas tank from one vehicle and gas from another vehicle because op mother's car was empty too. Most gas cans are 2-3 gallons a full gas tank in a small car is still 8 gallons, my Ford Taurus is 18 gallons. Some of my friends' trucks are 22 gallons. How did she drain at least two vehicles in one night? Where did she put it?

But that's what I'm talking about, after she filled her vehicle up to capacity, where did she store all the other gas? Funny enough this channel hekps me sleep better than any sleep sounds , not saying its boring shits exciting af but with my insomnia and anxieties, hearing other peoples problems helped me sleep

Not even 3 seconds of standing there, this old man cleared his throat at me, because he wanted to exit through the right side door that I was apparently blocking as opposed to the left (1: Both sides were unlocked & worked just fine, & 2: We were the only 2 people at the foyer atm). I knew he was a lunk, because like he did after, he always sits on the bench outside of the gym to smoke a cigarette. Bottom Line: It's not your fault that some people like to mark their territory without actually having to mark their territory.

With the first story, something similar happened. Thankfully my neighbor warned me, saying some guy was stealing everyone's gas. He thankfully never got my parents' cars but I think that guy eventually got arrested. Edit: to give you context, I live in a trailer park & this guy moved in I think a year after we moved to another trailer.
I ride the transit bus to just about everywhere I go. If we have a new employee that doesn't have a car and lives in town, I share the number for the transit dispatch and pricing info.

Idk if anyone remembwrs the gas crisis few years ago where ppl were going so over board that they filled them in bukets, tubs and trash bags. Well that year ppl were stealing other gases too. I actually had to buy a gas lock cause where i lived at the time. And now i barely do quarter tanks but since my work is now 10 min from my house its not a big deal
