I love this doctor. She went straight to the root cause and provided with so much help. Other sources I can’t stand them talking too much of what people with problems do not want to “know”. They need an immediate help and not lectures 😳
Thank you Sr Jenny ❤. You are amazing 🤗
Thank you so much for the education and product recommendations!
yes please i would love a video from you talking about hydroquinone!
I love all these products you described. 💗
Thank you dr. Jenny. I’m your new subscriber and thank you for your education about melasma, I know it takes a lot of time to cure and patience to control them it is stressful and frustrating.

Thanx for the lecture regarding the use of the different product that is sooted in our skin... keep up Dra.❤️
Thank you Dr. Jenny. I really appreciate you doing this video. I’m turning 50 and have a lot of hyperpigmentation and dark spot. I’m learning how to help address my concerns.
Thank you for sharing this information , I found it very informative
How do you used them, can I use 2 or 3 serums one night? Or each night only one acid serum ? Can I use acids in the morning befor vitamin C, can I use acid serums before retinol pm? love the video but another one explaining what things can you combine or the order to use them would be perfect
This is definitely helpful thank you!
❤’d this video. It really helped me understand the different ingredients, how they work and for what type of skin certain ingredients are best and more. I learned so much. Thank you! 😊
Hi Dr.Liu,

Hi Dr. Liu. I love your videos. I like your suggestions but don't know what order and how many products in each category to use. For example, what can be used in the AM/PM/Both? Do I need one of each product from each category for my routine?
Very helpful..Thanks.😊

I love this video💜. Hi Dr. Liu, I may ask question which one of those products could help or atleast lighten my inner thigh.. Thank you! And God bless
Thank you! I have it around my mouth and it's very annoying!
However, I wonder which one I should use because you said that they irritated our skin? Thank you again for the information. Very useful
I appreciate all your recommendations❤, but I would like to know the sequence of the most popular. How many of these do I put on at at one time and which ones……I’m such a beginner… hyper pigmentation is my problem and acne is no problem at all
Being a male with Melasma can be hard to understand what wil work for me. Good to know the science behind the treatment, and what to use when . My wife and I have pigmentation from different reasons, Cerave Retinol really worked for her ache spots. However melasma is sticky , needs more strategic approach. I will share my results after 3-4 weeks. Thanks again.
Fyi, Cerave Retinol may also lead to breakouts sometimes. Use La Roche Posay Adepelne instead.
Hi Dr Jenny can you please do a morning skincare routine please? Thank you!! ☺️
will add to my list!
Please morning and night routine 🙏🏼
Thank you ❤️
Nuturiam tranexamic acid is the best. This might be like my 5th bottle!

Yes!
Hi Dr. Liu! I actually live in Minnesota - Mankato but grew up in Minneapolis! Maybe I will meet you one day! But what I wanted to ask is my dermatologist at Mankato Clinic suggested a cream that had to be formulated in Arizona - a compounding pharmacy and it was, I think, retinol, fluocinonide, niacinamide and hydroquinone.. She also suggested a glycolic peel. Both are very expensive. Are there alternatives to this, or does this sound right?

Hi thanks for your informative tutorial. Please do a video that will touch more on melasma. Can glutathione/vitamin c either oral or topical help to clear it combined?
My melasma is *much* worse now that I'm menopausal.
I’m from Singapore where can I get the products?
For several years I have used Timeless Vit C , moisturizer with niacinamide , tinted spf 50, and 0.1 % tret. I've also used up a tube of Topicals Faded which has a lot of the actives mentioned in the video. Yet there has been little change in sunspots on my cheeks and melasma mustache.
Go to your dermatologist you might need prescription strength stuff
Frontrow soap po at ANEW RENEWAL POWER SERUM BY AVON
I also have melasma mustache and tried diff products to get rid or lighten them but still there taking a toll of my self confidence. I just cover it with a foundation..😔😔
Is arbutin is safe if I use it over the year?

Hello doctor, you did not tell me how to do all these things?

Dr Liu, is it better to use mineral spf if you have melasma? I read that it’s better for that but I much prefer chemical.
Nope not necessarily. Just find one you like, works well for your skin, and doesn’t cause irritation! My faves are actually chemical spfs too
I have rosacea and melasma what exfoliation can I use?😢
Hydroquione is still available OTC. Porcelana products, for example, have 2% hydroquione and they’re less than $10. I looked online and there are all kinds of brands out there for sale
Yep, as of all, no more products are allowed OTC with Hydroquinone. It may just take time for stores to sell out or have them pulled.
Thanks very much I have learned a lot about the products you have mentioned and the fact that I am suffering from serous hyperpigmentation can't go out without wearing makeup.
Though am a little confused don't know which to pick and how many different combinations I should buy, how to layer them?
@@catnip4587 I wouldn't want to use Hydroquinone at all. Unless it is almost necessary. There are reasons why it's not allowed in Europe.
@@destinychild4659 Europe rules don’t make sense. They don’t allow lactic acid in Good Genes but allow glycolic which to me is much more likely to cause skin barrier damage
what are the reasons?@@destinychild4659
Can you rwcommend some cream not a lot of expensive
Hi doctor
Where we can buy
How about due to ipl treatment???
How to order doc
I have melasma worse than hyperpigmentation. I have done lasers Fraxels and all laser stuff have made my melama worsen. Too many products can’t put them all on cuz it clogs my pores

Is melasma itchy? I have brown spots on my front check and it's itchy sometimes.
Normally they are not itchy. Go to dermatologist who can check them.

Best way to stop hyperpigmentation is to use sunscreen and cover up when outside, even at the beach. Sorry!

I never have acne I'm 49 year's old, I live in Florida and skin below my lip change color, I went to a Dermatologists and the treatment he gave me sting, So I have to stop his treatment and turn to RUclips, 350$ out,
No one ever shares how to use anything, they just throw out products
Probably because there are differences in different products. There should be instructions in every product.

The Inkey List has a pure Alpha Arbutin serum.
