The original clean boss had a very strong thymol scent. To me, they've watered it down to lighten the scent while maintaining the disinfectant. For me, the newer products scent is ok. I used to kill insects with the old product, lol. The new one takes longer. I sometimes use it to kill flying insects. It will eventually kill them with a couple of sprays and no poison in the home. I agree with your findings and love the reality of your tests. Clean boss is a cleaner I use almost daily. When guests leave, I spray chairs, sofas, and door nobs for disinfection. Love this product for so many things, but stuck on grease isn't one of them. Again, I agree with your findings. I wonder if the crayon were on glass if it would have removed it. Hmm. I thought the end results were great. I liked the fresh, clean scent when dried. I would not use any product in an unventilated area. When Miracle Clean was discontinued by HSN because too many people complained about the thyme scent. Fortunately, I had ordered it on auto-ship and had enough to last for a while. I have a question. Seventh Generation Disinfectant spray has just .05% Thymol and Clean Boss has much, much more at .27%. Do you think it would be possible to simply water down this product? Watering down would mean less soap so maybe would need to add a bit more soap or something but for just disinfection purposes...🤔...Could just watering it down and wipe as we do with Seventh Generation work without so much concentrated smell? As for the smell, I think we should treat this product as we might treat using ammonia (open windows and be cautious). It is highly concentrated and even though is a "natural" product, it can still be too strong and produce irritating effects. Anyway, just wondering.
Hello! I have so many favorite cleaners some are the Seventh Generation Disinfecting Wipes, Clorox Toilet Bowl Cleaner, Clorox wipes, Norwex cloths ( but not just with water), Pine-Sol, Dr Bronners.. the list goes on! As I test more, I get more favorites! Thank you very much for watching and commenting!

Don’t let this product turn you off of thymol! Seventh Generation disinfecting spray w/ thymol is great for instance! I know you like the wipes, but the cleaning spray is my go to for after i clean (such as with dish soap, toilet bowl cleaner, or bon ami powder) and perfect for those high bacteria areas such as toilet rim and kitchen sink drain. Mrs Meyers lemon baking soda soft scrub is my favorite for tubs.
