Chance has the major role and opens in "Helplessly Hoping", and he has a lovely whole verse in "Brothers in arms". Often Home Free splits a song up to a verse to each member (except for Adam, the beatboxer), and Chance will get his share, but you have just caught a number of tracks where Chance was only support, backup bass, or an effect sound. Keeps listening, and you will get to know Chance well too :)
He was already training his voice in the tenor range when his voice changed later than most other guys. He has continued to train his entire range to keep both ends clear.
Caught Franki Valli last night in Minneapolis. He turned 89 earlier this week and put on a fabulous show! 1:45 without a break and barely a breath. Tim's tribute did Frankie justice. Amazing.
You've already caught Chance if you consider he opened and closed Man of Constant Sorrow with the jaw harp sounds. Chance was the bass for his previous vocal group, but he usually does baritone for Home Free. He does the bass when Tim is singing lead. He can sing tenor (ie Can't Stop the Feeling where he does some more instrument sounds) check out Brothers in Arms for some Chance leads.. Also check out Some Girls Do and Take Me Home Country Road for fun. His range is almost as crazy as Tim's. You might want to catch Chances solo cover of Wayfaring Stranger which he recorded with the Fox and the Hound.
Love the reaction as it's so insightful! Tim VERY much compliments Home Frees other artists talents which makes for perfection in the end! Home Free and their members are different in a positive way. Always feel good music on point harmonies! Tim's 5 octave range is crazy good! Home Free-"DIE A HAPPY MAN" is a must love song that includes his NOW WIFE. peace
You are so right….Tim’s just showing off his 5 octave range for ya! Ha! Yeah, I love his speaking voice too. Goodness, he is blessed with vocal talent. Good reaction OSC! 😍
SO GOOD! Love that Tim's bringing back doo-wop 🥰 (Now we know what a 5-octave range really sounds like❣️) And to think he might have gone into dentistry or teaching and we would've missed out on his musical genius 🤯 This is so unbelievably fabulous! I only wish this video didn't fade out before he hits that final high note! I really want to hear his incredible finale to this gorgeous arrangement! ❣️🎼🥰🎶❤️
Chance led songs :I can't outrun you (he also scrpted & directed this video too) Cover me up (a very special video for Chance - keep watching past the music there is a surprise you'll love), Born in the USA (yes it's the Boss's song), Finally Free, & Dive Bar Saints
Even though I KNOW all the voices are Tim, his ability to make each voice 'unique' repeatedly makes my brain think there are 'others'. And just the other day, I wasn't really listening to what was playing and I caught myself thinking, "Who is that?" when In the Still of the Night was on. Since they added Chance, especially since quarantine, Tim gets more chances to show off his mid-range while Chance takes over the bass. For some lovely Chance, try HF's I Can't Out Run You, Cover Me UP, Yours, and Some Girls Do.
Another great rendition by Tim Foust. Love his new cd with all the older doo-wop songs. His voice really suits this genre of music. We know he can really bring the bass but how about his falsetto? He has a 5 octave range. I have always loved these 2 songs from 1960 "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow" by The Shirelles & "Stay" by Maurice Williams & The Zodiacs.
Tim has three other videos for songs from his album: Since I Don’t Have You; In My Room; and Come Go With Me. The other songs from his album are definitely worth an audio only reaction.
If you thought he was showing off here? The Bass Gang asked him to collaborate on Blue Suede's Hooked On A Feeling. And talk about having fun. Here is the link, ruclips.net/video/EhVsGnQmxMU/видео.html Tim doesn't use his falsetto, but belt's out some hight notes. I really enjoyed your reaction.
You Said, if you have that kind of vocal range, you should share it with the world. Well I would but I world have to get discovered like the British movie trailer guy Red Pepper. A BBC tv producer was on his train. He heard Red make am announcement, loved his voice. Ran up at the next stop, exchanged info. And the rest is history. Unfortunately most people that can sing like Tim Foust don't get discovered. They would love to get discovered so they can share their God given gift with the world.
Check out Chance singing Cover Me Up with Home Free. It is his best in my humble opinion. And make sure to watch the video all the way through to the end
Hi YOSC! I love the jazzy arranging at the beginning of this. It reminded me of The Manhattan Transfer. Do you know them? If not, here's a link to their live cover of A Nightingale Sang In Berkeley Square: ruclips.net/video/vkJ2-TKwCUc/видео.html
hi just met the channel, nice reacts. I recommend you to watch "2022 em uma música" it's a great music video from a brazilian artist recalling all the most popular songs from 2022
Penatonix meh....Im a Homefry forever seen them live 3 times now. If you wanna see another Acapella group thats good like them with another awesome 5 Octave bass who also does solo stuff (Geoff Castellucci), check out Voiceplay. They are right up there with them in my opinion. I think you will enjoy their stuff as well, and Geoff loves to push the limits of LOW 😂.
This is so good. The whole album is killer. And I always get a chuckle out of Chris rockin' out in the control room.

By the way Tim sang tenor in one of his previous vocal groups.

I second that Hooked On a Feeling suggestion. ❤
Oh most definitely! ❤❤
You would definitely feel that wall vibrate! I’ve been to one of their live performances and his voice shook my seat on the mezzanine level.
SO GOOD! Love that Tim's bringing back doo-wop 🥰 (Now we know what a 5-octave range really sounds like❣️)

Oh I didn’t know he was going into dentistry?! Glad he found his musical home (pun intended) 👍
Wow I follow this group but have not heard Tim sing this one ❤❤
Tim is dang special too !!!
We are soooooo blessed that this incredible man=singer shares that unbelievable talent with us. ❤❤❤

I agree with you on the fade out. When I first heard this I was curious about how he would end it, wasn't expecting the fade.
Tim is so very awesome! He has a 5-octave range. It does not get much better than this. Love your reaction!
So much talent. wow

Five octaves is just 🤯!
@@YourOnlineSingingCoach and he’s quote: “working on the 6th” 🤯 indeed
@@justann1358I've been looking for this quote. Do u remember where he said that?
@@princessButtercupp I’m not sure. Might’ve been a live stream 🤷🏻♀️
They just released another one just a few minutes ago….an original that’s part of the Stargazer Triology….the setting is Awesome 🙃🔥‼️❤️
Love his voice!!!! and the reaction😊😊

Must hear Tim's rendition of the Beach Boys hit In My Room! 5 Tims in BEAUTIFUL 5 part harmony!!!
If you thought he was showing off here? The Bass Gang asked him to collaborate on Blue Suede's Hooked On A Feeling. And talk about having fun. Here is the link, ruclips.net/video/EhVsGnQmxMU/видео.html
Tim doesn't use his falsetto, but belt's out some hight notes. I really enjoyed your reaction.
Adding it to my list, thank you! 👍
To hear a little more of Chance, try “Cover Me Up”, which came out just as the pandemic hit. Just make sure to watch it until the end.
Tim isn't human, he's from the planet Octave
😂😂😂
Loved your reaction. Jump on down the rabbit hole.
Thank you. Fun reaction!!
I think you'd really like Tim's version of "In My Room" (Beach Boys cover)! You can watch 5 Tims singing all of the parts together! 😉❤🤯
OMG; do Chance with The Fox and the Hounds "Wayfarer Stranger! you will be astounded. (or Chances lead in homefrees " I cant escape her")
I can't outrun you
Try Tim singing "In My Room" (incredible) and Chance singing "I Can't Outrun You" WOW.
If you want to hear Tim talk check out some of Story time with Tim 😁😁 they are funny
Try Story Time With Tim Whip Nae Nae.
@@beadwright 😂 that's one of my favorites 😂💀
That one is one of my favourites too. Natemare is another.
Oh definitely whip/nae nae. But natemares is hysterical as well..😂❤

Hi capstan! 👋I’ve certainly heard OF them but not sure if I’ve actually heard them, I’ll check it out 👍
After "Some Girls Do" try a fairly new "Brothers"
Why does he even need the other 4 Home Free guys? He just needs to perfect beatboxing now. Then he can do it all.
His beatboxing is actually pretty good 😁
hi just met the channel, nice reacts. I recommend you to watch "2022 em uma música" it's a great music video from a brazilian artist recalling all the most popular songs from 2022
Why try other A Cappella groups when you're already on best in the world 😊

Yes, I’m quite partial to homefree now myself! But I’ll check out Voiceplay, thanks for the recommendation!
Another bass singer that is equal to Tim Foust is Geoff Castellucci from the group VoicePlay.
How can a super human talent live in a normal looking body?
