Ok. Southerner here. Not news, I know. 😉 Tim changed the lyric that one time. He’s asking for “a LITTLE bit” longer. That one time he’s saying “A LOT - a bit" longer. He wants more than a little bit, therefore, “a lot” a bit. We like to make up words in the south. 😆
His talent is incredible. Great reaction. ❤️ I think you would enjoy “My Maria” with Austin and Tim in the “backyard” over on Austin’s channel.

Glad I could help clear that up. I believe Tim is from Texas. I have more of a west Tennessee/east Arkansas accent. I’m sure those outside of the US tend to think of a southern accent/dialect as one thing. No! There are so many different southern accents. However, there are some similarities in all of them, which make it easier to understand each other. And there truly is a common propensity to create words for our own purposes. 😆
      I’m
Curious to hear “a lot a bit” in a British accent!

Another Southern singer here (Okie).. The lotta bit had to have been a conscious decision to change the word. I definitely noticed it too, and thought why did he do that. It was too much of a change to have been just trying to make the "ih" in little taller and more open.

Tim is the king of the "BaDumDaDeeDum's" Lol! Ironically he was a bit of a later bloomer than some, but when his voice dropped, he said he didn't want to lose that higher range so he kept practicing it. Also, when people ask him how to learn to sing low, he starts off by having them extend their upper range first. This video makes me so happy! Doo Wop suits him so well. The line you were questioning, he's singing "A lotta bit longer" and I'm not sure why. Someone mentioned copyright issues, but I can't imagine changing 1 word would resolve that issue. Someone also said he changed a word or line in his Come Go With Me video too. In any case, I'm here for it all! Home Free, the group comprised of a small herd of magical unicorns! The whole CD is amazing. Timothy is much more than just a bass singer. Although I LOVE his bass.

According to the man himself from what I've heard, like many boys who start singing young, he sang tenor back then and his voice changed late which allowed him to transition to his adult voice while keeping his upper register in tact. Please react to Simon Khorolskiy's 'Wayfaring Stranger - Epic Version Feat. Chris Rupp." You'll love it. A couple verses are done in Russian. I didn't know I needed to hear Wayfaring Stranger in Russian until I did, but I did.

SO GOOD! Love that Tim's bringing back doo-wop 🥰 (Now we know what a 5-octave range really sounds like❣️)
And to think he might have gone into dentistry or teaching and we would've missed out on his musical genius 🤯
This is so unbelievably fabulous! I only wish this video didn't fade out before he hits that final high note! I really want to hear his incredible finale to this gorgeous arrangement! ❣️🎼🥰🎶❤️

You gotta love Tim and his range. Us Home Fries really do try to help all the reactors on their journey through Home Free and the guys singles. Chance also has some solo stuff on his channel. I would love for you to hear some of his stuff. He also does work with The Fox and the Hound (folk style) I think Tim has done a few songs with them too.

Chance's solo stuff is gorgeous. I always start trying to list my favorites and then I just end up listing all of them. As far as his collab work, my absolute favorite, hands-down is Hurt with The Hound + the Fox, but others he's done with them and with Peter Hollens are wonderful as well. A lot of reactors find Tim and Austin but miss Chance, which is a shame because he's a gifted singer - songwriter.

Another great rendition by Tim Foust. Love his new cd with all the older doo-wop songs. His voice really suits this genre of music. We know he can really bring the bass but how about his falsetto? I have always loved these 2 songs from 1960 "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow" by The Shirelles & "Stay" by Maurice Williams & The Zodiacs.
