No truer statement than that, Kevin. It's a crime that they haven't already become more mainstream like PTX (and that's not throwing shade at PTX...they're great...but so is Home Free). Home Free is my absolute favorite group...PERIOD. I only wish more had the pleasure of knowing about them.
That is true of all five HF members. The four normal singers can all reach C2, which makes them basses, and C5, which makes them tenors. Meanwhile, Rupp may have the widest range of the bunch given the different sounds he makes while beatboxing.

Glad I could help clear that up. I believe Tim is from Texas. I have more of a west Tennessee/east Arkansas accent. I’m sure those outside of the US tend to think of a southern accent/dialect as one thing. No! There are so many different southern accents. However, there are some similarities in all of them, which make it easier to understand each other. And there truly is a common propensity to create words for our own purposes. 😆 I’m Curious to hear “a lot a bit” in a British accent!
Another Southern singer here (Okie).. The lotta bit had to have been a conscious decision to change the word. I definitely noticed it too, and thought why did he do that. It was too much of a change to have been just trying to make the "ih" in little taller and more open.

Chance's solo stuff is gorgeous. I always start trying to list my favorites and then I just end up listing all of them. As far as his collab work, my absolute favorite, hands-down is Hurt with The Hound + the Fox, but others he's done with them and with Peter Hollens are wonderful as well. A lot of reactors find Tim and Austin but miss Chance, which is a shame because he's a gifted singer - songwriter.

Chance's solo stuff is gorgeous. I always start trying to list my favorites and then I just end up listing all of them. As far as his collab work, my absolute favorite, hands-down is Hurt with The Hound + the Fox, but others he's done with them and with Peter Hollens are wonderful as well. A lot of reactors find Tim and Austin but miss Chance, which is a shame because he's a gifted singer - songwriter.

Jennifer, Tim was born in Lubbock, Texas. There is such a thing as "a little bit longer " as well as "a lotta bit longer". A lotta bit is just more of a good thing. I live in Mississippi and I use that expression as well. You were soo cute trying to figure out what Tim was saying. Just keep on being you darling !

Another great rendition by Tim Foust. Love his new cd with all the older doo-wop songs. His voice really suits this genre of music. We know he can really bring the bass but how about his falsetto? I have always loved these 2 songs from 1960 "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow" by The Shirelles & "Stay" by Maurice Williams & The Zodiacs.

Seriously, who can sing ALL of the parts, it's all acapella with him singing the tenor, baritone and bass all at the same time with the layered tracks and providing the vocal instrumention at the same time.

I preordered the CD and the "a lot a bit longer" I noticed the first time I played. He said a little bit the first time but must have decided he needed more! Super sense of humor on top of all else he has going for him!!!
