I actually remember the original of "My Maria" by B. W. Stevenson in 1973. Always loved this song. I was not familiar with the Brooks & Dunn version. I really loved this performance by Tim & Austin & the other guys. Liked Austin singing in his lower register. I don't think I have ever heard Tim sound so clear & crisp in his upper falsetto range. Who would ever believe that he is a natural bass who can drop down into the basement depths. Wouldn't it be cool to have these guys perform for you at home?
Have you heard anything from Tim’s Pieces of Me album on his channel? He sings 50’s style do-wop music like Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow/Stay and sounds like Frankie Valli. He also sings high tenor on Snow Globe
I used to listen to BW "Buckwheat" Stevenson at clubs down in Austin all the time in the early 70's. This and other standards are his songs and he would have rightfully taken his place in the panoply of stars had his life not been cut short by a staph infection after heart surgery. Several of his songs are here on YT so give them a listen and you will learn just how much we lost when he passed.
@MissBrittReacts…Thank You for your great reaction 🙃‼️💗… if you like DOO-WOP…check out Tim Foust’s channel…he did a solo album “PIECES OF ME, VOL. #1”….hes done 5 videos from it…he’s done All the voices….(layered)..Pretty Awesome 💗‼️💗🔥
This song was originally done by B.W. Stevenson. It was made popular by Brooks & Dunn. Ronnie Dunn's vocals on it give me chills. This does the song justice though. Incredible.
I find it interesting that Austin is doing the low part, as one of the best tenors in the biz, and Tim (one of the best bass signers in the biz, is doing the high part...cuz he can. And he does it so well. More Home free please!
Loved Tim singing the high part. If you listened to the end you’ll hear the crazy cicadas in the background. This is Austin’s deck that he built himself. Tim sings in the attic and then when he talks he’s back in the basement. Good one!
Britt, I loved your reaction! I am very familiar with this song, lol, and this is by far my favourite version. I am in my sixties and I was raised using my middle name, which happens to be "Maria". Over the years, I have come home, many times, to messages on my answering machine of this song playing. Friends and family have found it very amusing to randomly hold their phone to the radio when this song has played and record it for me. It always gives me a laugh and a smile when I play messages and this song pops up. Thanks for reacting ♥
My Maria was made popular by Brooks n Dunn. You should definitely check them out if you haven't already. I love the colab they do with Luke Combs too called 1 2 many
Gorgeous dynamic song, gorgeous dynamic reaction. Can I ask for more? Be blessed! Greetings from Holland The original by BW Stevenson from 1973 is sadly crushed by drums
this song by BW Stevenson climbed to # 6 on the top 40 billboard chart in 1973 and was a huge hit when I was in Junior High school. Love all e famous versions....Stevensons in 1973, Brooks & Dunn in early 90's and now Tim & Austin in Sept 2021. Hard to believe this is already 2 1/2 years old.
Fantastic reaction, Britt! Everyone in Home Free is so amazing. I really enjoy them as a group and as individuals. I've listened to each of them perform individually, but this is the first time hearing Austin and Tim together. Great song!
Sweat is from his arm resting on the body of the guitar. Probably very humid when\where they did this video. Wouldn't be surprised to see a wet spot on his shirt from the back of the guitar after they finished.
I really love the contrast between Tim's high part in the song to his normal talking voice after the song. Also the guitar wasn't wet but it was steaming hot from the music being played.
The guy on keyboard is Austin’s friend Sebastian and he can play that thang lol. 😆 you should check him out on some of Austin stuff on his channel. These men are so great and they surround themselves with great people too. ❤#HOMEFREE.
The guy with the guitar is Tim's friend Chris Chatham. Many years ago they sang together in Blue Jupiter. Chris is one of the best arrangers in the world, especially for a capella. The guy with the bass is Tim's brother in law.
Britt, you are one of the best. You put a smile on my face each time I watch your reaction. I may be wrong, but for some reason I thought you were from the Atlanta area. I spent 31 and a half years teaching bio in the northern suburbs. I must say, I wish I had had you as a student!!!!! Thank you for this reaction....and watch the end of the video. I think you will smile at your perception.
I can hear the discussion: We have two world class tenors (Chris Chatham is a high tenor, too - even higher than Austin), who should sing the high line? Tim? OK, then can we have Austin explore the bottom end of his range? Austin's deck on the end of his house. He and his dad worked on it during the beginning of the Covid shut down. If you'd like to see (a lot of) him working on it check out his solo 'Earn it'.
This is actually Tim's head voice! The man has a 5 octave range... just inhuman! You should listen to his rendition of Why Do Fools Fall in Love. He sings all the parts (and there are puppies!). If you haven't heard it yet, you should also listen to Austin performing Bring Him Home from Les Misérables. Have tissues! You will need them. Sebastian accompanies on piano, and he's so good you don't really notice what he's doing.
If you really want to hear Tim’s high note range please react to his doo wop album covers. He is a huge fan of Frankie Valli and the four seasons and his covers are great!
This has become my favorite go-to Feel good song! Feeling down, feeling blue? Throw on My Mira and get perked back up almost instantly. Another great cove by Home Free. The one by Brooks and Dunn is almost as good but it does not have Tim and Austin.... That's Austin's back porch I believe.
It may interest you to know that you can watch Austin building that deck in his video for Earn It. Oh and it includes shots of him shirtless; PDC would approve.
Love Tim's silver streak, but Oh, that Austin!!😍 I love this song. Love Chris Chatham's contribution, Tim's brother-in-law on guitar......and did you see Sabastian is playing that keyboard with a finger bandaged? I love when Austin sings in his lower range. And this, I believe, was Austin's hand-built deck. He was going to be a carpenter before he decided to go into music. Brooks and Dunn did the original.
Please check out 'Wayfaring Stranger - Epic Version' by Simon Khorolskiy Feat. Chris Rupp (Adam Rupp, the beat boxer from Home Free's brother). It really is epic and I think you'll really like it.
If only you & your hubby could re-populate the earth with many more good humored, fine folk (and they be protected from the filthy flim-flam floatin' around). 💖
Britt, have you gotten a Covid test (Feds send test kits out free). If positive, important to get Paxlovid from drug store immediately. Greatly reduces the bad effects! The latest version of Covid symptom is a SORE THROAT. We care about your health.
Britt, I love your reaction videos! You are now talking more than the music were listening to. Pretty soon this will be a talking broadcast channel, please go back to how it used to be!!!!! Still love your channel.
Chris Marion (in baseball cap) is the brother of Tim's wife. Tim has a 5+ octave range. This was filmed on the back deck of Austin's house. During Covid Tim decided to stop colouring his hair and cut it shorter. Tim & Austin also have a duet of "What's it to You" and on Austin's original "Hers Ain't Mine". Along with other friends, they also do fund raising for at-risk veterans (excerpts are available on y/t).
First, the song was written and originally performed by Brooks and Dunn. Secondly, remember that Tim Foust is a bass singer. He's showing his remarkable range in this song. He's known for having at least a five octave range. Some will say an eight octave range. He does however, have the distinction of having the lowest recorded vocal note in history.
how long have you been wearing that shirt Britt ? it has benn in all your latest vids ? Reminds me of Jimmy Buffet. What really hits me is that Tim is hitting the high notes with ease.
Tim Foust's range is just ridiculous! Love this cover!
Tim's a Southeast Texas man! Great group and they've brought thousands of smiles to people all over!
Go listen to his cover of stay you'll be even more impressed

I bought "Pieces Of Me". That is a great cd!@@larrywright3132

You “actually” remember?
Tim Foust singing will you still love me tomorrow/stay, shows his incredible range
This was recorded on Austin’s deck 🙃‼️(Austin & his Dad built it).
And, that’s Tim’s natural hair color…Love it 💗❣️💗‼️
@MissBrittReacts…Thank You for your great reaction 🙃‼️💗… if you like DOO-WOP…check out Tim Foust’s channel…he did a solo album “PIECES OF ME, VOL. #1”….hes done 5 videos from it…he’s done All the voices….(layered)..Pretty Awesome 💗‼️💗🔥
The guys from Home Free band. They are extremely talented! ❤️
This song was originally done by B.W. Stevenson. It was made popular by Brooks & Dunn. Ronnie Dunn's vocals on it give me chills. This does the song justice though. Incredible.
Made popular recently by Brooks & Dunn. Was extremely popular when it came out in 1973.
I find it interesting that Austin is doing the low part, as one of the best tenors in the biz, and Tim (one of the best bass signers in the biz, is doing the high part...cuz he can. And he does it so well. More Home free please!

Fun really tags this one - it's just so dang cheery and lovely!
Love the song, its been around for over 60 years😊
I was dancing to this in 1973 when the original came out. Has been a favorite of mine ever since.
You should check out Tim Faust's Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow/Stay!
@MissBrittReacts Feeling ain't mutual honey
Hearing Tim sing so high makes my heart swoon
Gotta watch Tim Foust( in my room)😊
Absolutely enjoyed your reaction. Tim Foust's vocals are AMAZING!! Austin is Phenomenal but Tim is Freak-of-Nature Talented.
This is so so so so so good
The great Brooks and Dunn did this song, and I am glad the Home Free boys did it!!
classic Brooks & Dunn song did perfectly by Home Free vets.
Britt, there's only one thing I enjoy/love more than your reactions, and that's your sense of humor 🌹😅😂🤣🌹

♥
That part where you clapped; you practically became part of the performance! Loved it! Great reaction!
I luv your reactions! The guys did an amazing job on tbis.
My Maria was made popular by Brooks n Dunn. You should definitely check them out if you haven't already. I love the colab they do with Luke Combs too called 1 2 many
They are on Austin's deck, that he built!!
I like the switch up with Tim doing the high notes.
This is so very awesome! Tim has a 5-octave range. That is Austin's deck and backyard. Love this so very much! Love your reaction!
Brooks and Dunn have a real good cover of this song.
I just love your new do..
Lookin' good.
Gorgeous dynamic song, gorgeous dynamic reaction. Can I ask for more? Be blessed! Greetings from Holland
The original by BW Stevenson from 1973 is sadly crushed by drums
As good as they are ,and I love them , brooks and dun cannot be beat
Tim has great range.
Gotta check out these guys singing “What’s It To You,” you’ll love it too!
Definitely need to check out Tim's solo stuff.
I LOVE your facial expressions while listening to this. Evidently, you were blown away as I was.
Amazing!!
Luv this song....the original is good , Brooks and Dunn did a great cover, these guys do it justice as well...

dat B nice!
Britt got the shoulders moving at the first harmonies :D
I really love the contrast between Tim's high part in the song to his normal talking voice after the song. Also the guitar wasn't wet but it was steaming hot from the music being played.
I love Austin Brown. His Mama blessed us with him!
The guy on keyboard is Austin’s friend Sebastian and he can play that thang lol. 😆 you should check him out on some of Austin stuff on his channel. These men are so great and they surround themselves with great people too. ❤#HOMEFREE.

You're the best!
Great song and this was a beautiful cover!! 😅
Don't forget Tim is the Home Free bass singer
You need to watch Tim's solo, will you still live me tomorrow
My husband heard Tim's voice and said, "He has a range." Understatement of the year.
Austin's range isn't much smaller than Tim's. I read one story that claimed Brown's range goes lower than Chance's.
Austin has his own channel. I will suggest his version of "Unchained Melody".
This is actually Tim's head voice! The man has a 5 octave range... just inhuman! You should listen to his rendition of Why Do Fools Fall in Love. He sings all the parts (and there are puppies!). Love your reaction! This is a beautiful song 🎵 😍 ❤
BRITT--great reaction! BUT you cut off the end--there's great part with Tim and Austin talking.
If you really want to hear Tim’s high note range please react to his doo wop album covers. He is a huge fan of Frankie Valli and the four seasons and his covers are great!
THIS NOT A PARK - it is Austin (Brown) back yard deck ..... he on / near a pond so other videos show some with lake backdrop.
It’s called a silver fox!!!! Lol
Tim’s singing range is 5 octaves, so I’ve heard. This is a great Brooks and Dunn song. Please react to the original!!
Austin has done some solo projects too. You might like the song Earn It if you have nominated Austin for the PDC.😊
Austins backyard is not a park!😂❤
Awwww man, ya didnt watch the grwat outro! 😢 ❤❤
IKR! 😫 lol
Kaleidoscope!! The perfect description.
Love your reactions, they are so honest and fun
Thanks Britt ~ 🖤🍟
Welcome!!!
You'd like Tim's most recent cover, "Why Do Fools Fall In Love." First, because, well...Tim. And two: puppy and floofs galore!
To bad you didn't listen to them talk, you would have heard Tim's voice extra bassy lol
Would love for you to hear Austin Brown’s rendition of Unchained Melody. Guitar player was ahhhhmazing!
It may interest you to know that you can watch Austin building that deck in his video for Earn It. Oh and it includes shots of him shirtless; PDC would approve.
Tim wearing an Austin shirt 😂😂!
You can see Austin's porch being half built in the video of Moonshine by Home Free.
Need to listen to the boys talk at the end
Timmy stopped dying it during the lockdown.
On Mar-EEEEEEE the EEEEEE is barely out of chest!
Britt, you need to react to Brooks & Dunn doing My Maria @ Cain's Ballroom. Let's just say that women take to him. I think that you'll love it!
Also check out "One Voice."
With Homefree and Billy Gillam
Loved the reaction ❤
You just don't do enough Home Free, please check out Home Free ft Brooke Eden, Delta Dawn 😊
Love Tim's silver streak, but Oh, that Austin!!😍 I love this song. Austins deck he built during the lockdown.
Check out Austin Brown's cover of "Why Georgia Why"
Please check out 'Wayfaring Stranger - Epic Version' by Simon Khorolskiy Feat. Chris Rupp (Adam Rupp, the beat boxer from Home Free's brother). It really is epic and I think you'll really like it.
A white streak in the hair could also indicate possible descent from Indigenous Cherokee people.
That’s not even as high as Tim can sing. Checkout his solo cover single of Why Do Fools Fall in Love? It will blow your mind. :)
If only you & your hubby could re-populate the earth with many more good humored, fine folk (and they be protected from the filthy flim-flam floatin' around). 💖

Still waiting on a reaction to "Mayday", "Ring of Fire", and would be amazing to see your reaction to the "Butts Remix" by Home Free
They sure do 'suffer from talent' !!!!!!
This version is good but you should rally listen to Brooks and Dunn sing My Maria . It is my favorite version.
That's actually Austin's back porch
