As a fan of horror games, I'm happy as shit. Resident Evil 4, Callisto Protocol, Dead Space, Alan Wake 2, The Last of Us Remake, Scorn, probably multiple Silent Hills, etc.
So I bet all the summons are tied to warriors from each family/house/clan. Like jinchuriki in naruto and the character you play as is probably ifrit’s champion.
I don't know if it's true or not but I did hear that resident evil 4 and resident evil 8 has a connection to his stories. If that is so imagine how dope that will be.
1. The trailer for the RE4 remake looked great. I hope that it can be more horror focused. 2. I'm looking forward to Resident Evil Village in VR. Hopefully PSVR2 will also be backwards compatible with original PSVR titles. 3. The trailer for the Calisto Protocol looks fantastic and you would be forgiven for thinking it was a sequel in the Dead Space series. 4. I think it's great that Tunic is coming to PlayStation.

As much as I would want BC for psvr1, I’d rather they focus on new experiences. The amount you’ll be able to do with the new controller is going to be crazy with finger tracking / haptics. Just give me a half life Alex port and resident evil 4 and 8, something new from astrobot, and it will be a day 1 purchase for me.
Calisto Protocol is from Glen Schofield's new studio Striking Distance Studios. It originally was set in the PUBG universe but grew to be its own thing over development. Glen Schofield was the co-founder of Sledgehammer & before that worked at Visceral as creator and executive producer of Dead Space.

My dad’s excited for FF16 and he’s never played any of the other games. Though he’s a big fan of Middle Ages/Medieval like fantasy and considering 16 is dripping in that makes sense he’d be interested in it.

Even more convinced now that we're getting the date for God of War Ragnarok at Keighley's thing on the 9th and their showcase, and Ragnarok's release, will be in September. I thought FFXVI might just be the thing for PS5 on the 9th but that was here.
They’ll probably have a separate state of play for god of war in summer for releasing in September. Looks like that and forespoken this year. Maybe some surprise from naughty dog at the end of the year.

Considering it was a summon heavy trailer it would appear they’re addressing that. Having said that I thought FF15 was just fine making them something that’s only called in when absolutely necessary. But I’d like to call them in like the original FF7.

These aren’t meant to be E3 showcases though, just like every game isn’t a triple A blockbuster not every reveal will be a blockbuster. Every game deserves a release date and trailer. I love this state of play and at least have fun with all of them.
I guess if you like those kinds of games. I personally found all the capcom stuff really dragged things down for me. The only game I I came away excited for was Horizon, and I was already excited for that. Good trailer though and could well be the VR killer experience many of us have waited for

Psvr2 isnt backcompat since it uses different tracking.
Callisto protol has a lot of familiar sound effects for a ds veterans.
