Andy, I've never really commented on here or PGS videos but I just wanted to say your playing is inspiring and I love your demos. Thanks for everything you have done the last decade+
Wow. That sounds fantastic. The Surf Rider is my favorite REVERB pedal. I can’t wait to pair the two. Great job SolidGoldfx!!!! - Rick / PureSalem Guitars
Watching you demonstrating effects is always great! And what a killer guitar player you are! In a perfect world, you would be known all around the planet!
0:40! especially 0:44, wow. the pedal itself reminds me of the legendary rubberneck, but with different flavor. too bad it's not stereo. Andy is like a family member for all of us, right? the one who connects the community.
actually, screw stereo. the one thing every delay must have is the external tap-tempo input or midi to sync it with other gear, especially other delays.
I liked this pedal at first but have to change my opinion. I noticed a delay before the repeats start and it's even more noticable when using the octive. Really noticable... even when shortening the delay time.
Good for Solidgoldfx, and well done. Giving us something new and fun. Not just a delay or another unnecessary dirt box. Cheers ...and if anyone can sell a pedal, it’s Andy. This kid can make a tuner pedal sound amazing!!!!!
Andy is gonna get me divorced making all these pedals sound so good! wife gonna be pissed when she sees this in the mail. anyone have an extra bed? LOL
WOW! What a cool pedal. I second Rick Sell's remark about pairing it with a Surf Rider (Mark IV for me!). Who makes that fabulous looking & sounding green Tele Andy is playing? Looks like the logo is a butterfly! Thanks for another great demo Andy!!!
Thanks! That’s a good question, I think it’s more common for standalone delays to have analog dry through than not. Eventide have openly stated their pedals don’t have analog dry through but If it’s done right, it’s really a non-issue for me.
So can it „DMM“? Kinda sounds like one could tweak the modulation and tone to get it to mimic a Deluxe Memory Man (old, 5-knob, vintage box). Am I wrong?
Yes! That's basically what I have at 6:28. Single head selected, a little Flutter (Chorus/Vibrato) in either direction with the Color below noon for a BBD tone. Thanks!
@@AndyDemos Excellent - much obliged for your helpful response. Just placed my order for the featured pedal, for use with electric and acoustic guitar (same pedalboard for both).
I wish they’d replace the Time knob with a Heads knob, or rotary Mode knob. With tap tempo, I think the time knob is a redundant waste of space in a pedal that’s trying to give lots of options in a small footprint. I’d take more rhythmic variations instead.
I'm sure there are hard choices to make when making a compact pedal. For me, I'd never be able to tap in a 125ms slapback lol! The heads switch is actual not hard to master, it cycles 1,2,3 heads to give you your rhythmic variations. Thanks!
With the filter flat and no modulation, it’s certainly does a typical analog sound but it’s perhaps more on the tape side rather than BBD because it’s not as dirty. Thanks!
That shirt looks mysteriously like a pedal you demo’d with a fish on it I can’t remember the pedal forgive me. Edit:it was a Jam Pedals-ripply falls- chorus vibrato phaser

That lower octave is gnarly. Love it.
Whoa Andy such a killer intro 👊🏻 this echo is outside the box
Killing it on the intro. Looks like you're having a good time with this one - sounds great! 👍

Wow, killer playing on this Andy and the pedal sounds great too!
Thank you!!!
Seems like a good pedal if I want to play The Verve style spacey jams.
Fantastic demo of what sounds like a killer fun delay pedal. Full of surprises! And your intro incorporating the Daily Driver... I love mine!
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it! I’ve been enjoying the Daily Driver quite a bit👍🏻
Andy is legit my favorite guitarist.
You’re too kind! 👊💥

Why not both? Haha this delay sounds so beautiful if it had those 2 extra features I wouldn’t mind paying much more.
SolidGoldFx are KILLING it. This is so cool.
I could listen to your demos all day Andy.. great sounding pedal too ... You great giver of gas you!
Haha, I really appreciate it!

SGFX knocked it out of the park with this one! Great playing as always Andy ⭐🖤⭐
👊💥👊Thanks!
Sounds like fun. Now run that last fuzz riff into a Marshall stack where you can feel it.
Reminds me of the alexander history lesson sort of. I kinda like this more. May have to pick one up.
Thanks Andy sounds wonderful!!!!
Sounds great Andy !
Sounding killer as always Andy.
Thank you!!!
damn....now I want 3 of those
Would be amazing for full Floyd action, great demo Andy.
Crazy Shit ... Andy You are the MASTER
Effing h-ll, that intro!
Andy is gonna get me divorced making all these pedals sound so good! wife gonna be pissed when she sees this in the mail. anyone have an extra bed? LOL
That was rad
I don't care about the equipments at all - I'm here just to hear Andy play
WOW! What a cool pedal. I second Rick Sell's remark about pairing it with a Surf Rider (Mark IV for me!). Who makes that fabulous looking & sounding green Tele Andy is playing? Looks like the logo is a butterfly! Thanks for another great demo Andy!!!
Hey thanks for watching! The green Tele is a custom Grayling by Gray Guitars London 👍🏻
@@AndyDemos Thanks Andy.
Amazing
Awesome review, as always, Andy!! Do you know if this pedal has analog dry through? Thanks!

@@AndyDemos cool, thanks!!!
This is a lot like my radical delay dx, just a lil bit better
Daily Driver 🤘
Andy has zero regard for my wallet.

So. Good.
Great demos as always, thank you 🙏 Was wondering what brand of strings you use?
Hey! I use StringJoy, there’s a link in the description ☝️
@@AndyDemos I was gonna guess that 🤗 Thanks Andy!
Okay... So when is Andy releasing a Dub EP? Loved the intro

great vid! is this the same size as other standard pedals like those that come from jhs or earthquaker?
Thanks! Yes, it’s a pretty standard sized enclosure that many use.
Love you andy
Or try a Baby Blue instead... Amazing preamp.
My Rubberneck just got nervous.
Is this an echorec successor?
That might be the most useable sounding warp I've heard on a delay like this.
It's so cool to have ad80 and dm-2) my oldies will beat them all) FOREVER)
So does it do just a standard good sounding analog delay?
With the filter flat and no modulation, it’s certainly does a typical analog sound but it’s perhaps more on the tape side rather than BBD because it’s not as dirty. Thanks!

Ah who needs another effin delay, I mean this sh- *Andy engages Glitch & Warp at the same time* Oooohh, okay. Nevermind, I'll shut up now.
Sub octave is cool if you don't have a bass part on your song
😳
