I bought this pedal today after watching this video so many times for several months. I loved all of it! When you transition to that dub bit at the end…DAMN! I’m excited for Episode 8 and for your album to come out!
🙏🙏🙏 hey that means so much! EM-III is an incredible delay- I know you’ll dig it! The series is picking back up first week of Feb- thank you for your patience and the kind words ❤️🙏
Really would like to try this out at some point, as I'm a huge fan sgfx and have owned both the mk I Electroman and mk II. The mk II is probably my favourite delays, it's murky and dark modulated repeats are just gorgeous sounding, and the ramp feedback switch is wild. However, before this mk III was released I bought the amazing Raster v2 by redpanda, and it also sounds incredibly, and allows for so much exploration with pitch shifting and modulation. Now that I have the raster I probably won't get the mk III, but I encourage anyone else to because SGFX makes such great sounding pedals that are always creative in how they allow for more engagement with secondary features. One of the best companies in the business for sure. Also, stellar demo as usual. You are a very creative individual, really inspiring tracks!
Thank you! I usually have some compression going on after dirt in the chain for both guitar and bass- but I use super light ratio’s and blend 50/50 wet dry so it’s more like light parallel compression just to smooth out rough edges and volume jumps.
Love your music!! Awesome playing, and fabulous choice of sounds and textures. Please may I ask if those are really human drums or is it EZ Drummer etc?
Thanks so much 🙏 I use *mostly* human recorded beats, but also programmed stuff as well. It really just depends on what I need for each segment. I’ll pull drums from all sorts of sample libraries all over the web, or I’ll get some producer friends to track a set of drum loops for me. Then I manipulate them/splice/edit however I need!
@@SpiralCasterPlaysPedals well it sounds and feels great and very much an integrated part of a larger ensemble. Have you got anything on Bandcamp or Spotify? I’d really like to hear some more! :-)
@@AlistairLindsay thank you! And absolutely - on Spotify you can search SpiralCaster, Neon Mountain, or Cohen Hartman and I have albums under all. Dramatically different music from project to project I’m afraid, but I hope you might dig some of it! It’s all collectively on Bandcamp too as well as almost all these songs. Cohenhartman.Bandcamp.com Thanks again 🤟
@@SpiralCasterPlaysPedals Thank you for the details! I will really enjoy exploring your releases. There are plenty of them so it should keep me busy! 😃✌️👍
Damn it has been a while, hard for me to say! During that phase I don’t think I was doing anything too crazy-- could be Drop D, or Drop C# in D# standard. May have even just been standard ha
Hey umm, i hate to ask but is this analog dry through? I really like the features and overall sound, but i also really like my core sound and don't want to chop the high-end off.
That exactly what I want to ear as a dig or not pedal!
Yeeeeeaaaaahhh, boi! This rocks! Love all the new camera work you're putting into your demos ❤
You noticed! Thanks Stefan, trying my best to explore/expand a bit!
Riff machine. Best demos on youtube right now.
Woah that means a lot- thank you ❤️🙌❤️

My thoughts exactly!

sick demo as usual. I see you list a compressor in your stuff for almost all videos. Is it usually on guitar or bass?

What tuning are the opening chords in?

@@SpiralCasterPlaysPedals thanks for the reply, such great textures in that opening riff.
