I wont say which one, but I did buy one (from pro guitar days long ago) based on his demo and he sounded brilliant and I could not dial in anything usable. even replicating his knob settings. the man is a fantastic player and he is at the level where his hands and feel make things sound better than we mere mortals can do
@@jobiazgarza9571 I have the same problem. Sometimes he makes everything look so easy when I dive into a new pedal, I jump in thinking I can manipulate it the way that he does. I'm usually wrong. :-)
Another possible Easter egg?: The Empress Effects Superdelay sitting on the shelf is made in the Ottawa area (Kanata) - just a 2 hour drive from MTL (4 hours if you hit MTL traffic...).
Nice playing as always, sir. LEDs that flash to the rate seems like such a small thing but once you get used to depending on them they seem like the work of a genius.
Wow ! Another fabulous overture ! Andy, where all these openings come from ? Songs I'm too old to recognise ? Or all out of your brain ? Man, if I could somehow have a "best of" all your openings.....and as always, you give a very good evaluation of the pedal on show.
Thanks so much! Yeah usually these are tunes that start with a drum track and I go from there. I’ve previously uploaded my favorites of the year, will do it again at end of 2024 too!
Is it me or does this thing sound like crap? Thin, washed, more wooshy than musical, and yet very cold and sterile. Just a box of annoying. Save up for a zelzah.
Too funny ,things actually analog…. And on the zelzah videos guys are claiming it sounds thin and sterile because it’s digital. Honestly I don’t think most of the people that make comments actually have a clue what you’re talking about on either side.
The problem with Andy is that he makes every pedal sound so good I feel like I need every single one...
So true.

The folks at Solidgold FX are geniuses. My EMIII Delay is amazing
Using that Godin Montreal Premiere for a Montreal pedal company is a nice touch!
Haha thanks, it’s nice when folks notice the little things like this 😃

Salesman of the year right here. Great job Andy !
Andy, I've said it before and I'll say it again. You're a national treasure. Everybody subscribe, like and spread the word. GOAT
I appreciate it very much!

OMG, this brings back memories… One of my first pedals was the yellow DOD phaseshifter, 1979

That intro was trippy
What was the intro riff? It was balling
Thanks so much, I just wrote it for the demo!
@@AndyDemos you are the 🤴
Well done
Thank you!
Yo Andy, are those the stock pickups in that Vantage? I always think that guitar sounds so good. Thanks!
Yes they are! Thanks, I like them in split coil mode also. I imagine they're ceramic and pretty hot.
It does sound somewhat like a Univibe
Dual LFO phasers are why I had to get an actual limiter, rather than using a compressor pedal. (:
Just started watching. Hope he doesn’t mention Robin trower. Univibe is the only time he gets mentioned. 😂
im nobody but i could have used some more mids in this

2-stage phasers are lighter and airy (like a Phase 45). Sounds like you want something with more stages.
