- Twins (1988)
Twins (rendered in its title sequence logo as TWiiNS) is a 1988 American buddy comedy film produced and directed by Ivan Reitman. The film is about unlikely fraternal twin brothers (Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito) who were separated at birth. The core of the film is the contrast between the streetwise Vincent (DeVito) and the intelligent but naive Julius (Schwarzenegger).

I always thought that this movie was underrated. It was light, fun and had a likable premise. To see Arnold and Danny work together was gold, they make a great duo.
6:36 "Is this a _Rambo_ poster?"
An homage to the professional rivalry that existed between Stallone and Schwarzenegger.
And a reminder that she didn't watch Rambo yet on this channel
The part when Julius and Vincent talk about "a Christmas tree and Thanksgiving dinner" and "Even when you've been bad" always gets to me. My dad disowned me when I enlisted in the Marine Corps, and it took over ten years to mend that bridge (thanks in large part to my fearless little sister), so that longing for a home to go back to where you're welcomed no matter what has gone before really resonates with me.
Props to li'l sis. 😊
Disowned for joining the Marines???
@@molasorrosalom4846 Some parents see it as an honorable way to serve your country or to turn your life around, but others see it as a waste of potential or a way to support a system they see as violent and/or corrupt. 🤷♂
@@bigdream_dreambigI know an American cop, who's Indian, and his family were pretty much at the top of the pyramid in their caste system.
They look down on his profession, he could be the chief of police and they would still look down on him.
Why did he not want you to join the Corps?
You can tell they are twins right off the bat! Not only is this hysterically funny it has a rousing storyline. It is highly recommend but if you have asthma you might need to have your rescue inhaler by your side.
Being from San Francisco, I remember one of Arnie's very early roles was in the TV cop show "Streets of San Francisco." He played a champion body builder who was using a performance enhancing drug to increase his muscle mass. The drug also gave him anger control issues causing him to go into a bind rage and strangle someone to death, and that's where the show's police detectives got involved.
Arnold Schwarzenegger starred in Red Heat the same year as this, while Sylvester Stallone starred in Rambo III. This has the same director as Ghostbusters, Ghostbusters 2 and Kindergarten Cop
Ivan Reitman, who passed away in 2022, directed this, Kindergarten Cop, Junior and the first two Ghostbusters films. His kids, Jason and Catherine, played the grandkids in Twins.
"I'll be back" has been an Arnold line in many of his movies, so much so that it was parodied in Last Action Hero
RIP Kelly Preston, my childhood crush 💔
Hi Camy, great to see you are back!!!😊👏👏 You look lovely!❤ Julius' love interest is a young Kelly Preston (Mrs. John Travolta). Unfortunately she passed away in 2020 at the age of 57 years old. Great reactions to this fun comedy, Camy!!!!🎬👏👏👏👏
Another great Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVieto movie is Junior. Kindergarten Cop is also a great Schwarzenegger comedy.
Glad you’re back Cami, enjoyed your reaction.
FYI, Arnold also says "I'll be back" in "The Running Man" as well. I HIGHLY recommend you watch that one as well. No Arnold film respective would be complete without it.
17:26 This guy was in "Total Recall" with Arnie.
Both Arnold and & Danny devito both played batman villains Arnold Schwarzenegger was Mr freeze & Danny devito played the penguin
I never realized until recently that the "driving" music score was recycled in Kindergarten Cop.
One of the few Arnold movies that brings a tear to my eye.
I really love how in the scene where they get matching suits and Vincent refers to Julius as "Mr Ice" since in one of the Batman movies Ahnold plays Mr Freeze. Of course this movie came out long before the Batman thing, but still just foreshadowing is so cool. No pun intended.
One of Arnold's best that everybody loves and I am sure you will as well, is Kindergarten Cop.
Most welcome back!👍🏼👍🏼
I love twins. A very good comedy. Arnie has never been better imo
One of my favorite movies when I was growing up.
Danny DeVito is a master at playing characters who are scummy yet lovable. For comedy where he plays a character who's not aggressive nor scummy (plotting first degree murder not withstanding), consider watching "Throw Momma From the Train" (1987) starring Danny DeVito and Billy Crystal.
Or "Other People's Money."
Underrated movie
@@molasorrosalom4846 Great suggestion, and yes, criminally underrated.
Great reaction to a 80s classic more reactions please i enjoy them
27:41 almost 40 this October.
When Vincent was negoating the fee with Beetroot, he was talking about thousands, Beetroot about millions. Vincent needed $20 000 to cover his debt and only wanted to make sure this delivery would cover that. He didn't realize it was a deal that could make him a millionare. Hence the "I'm speechless" reaction when the magnitude was spelled out loud.
Glad to see you back Cami ! 😊 you always have great reactions
I will need to go back and watch this classic again as i already know it's a dose of humor i need today !
Have a blessed day Cami ! ❤
41:01 Another reactor was so innocent that she asked "Why he is saying 'FOUR' when there is five?"
Did you not see her shake her head? She knew what he did, she just let him off..
I hope that was a goof by the movie.
@@VictorLugosi The reactor I'm talking about didn't shake her head.
@@molasorrosalom4846 A continuity error.
@@waterbeauty85 No, he said 4 because he kept 1 million dollars for himself.
Hi Cami hope you are having an great and awesome day ❤
NOW THERE'S A MAN WITH A LOT ON HIS MIND!😂😂
Welcome back! You were very missed.
Aw thank you!! I missed you all! :)
Don't forget "the first rule of a CRISIS Situation!" when watching this movie.
14:36 "If you lift the rear end of a car to an angle greater than 45 degrees, the mercury switch activates the automatic cut-off system so that the alarm's computer thinks that the car is being towed away and shuts off."
First, let me point out that he did not lift the rear end of that car anywhere _near_ 45 degrees.
But second, don't let the technobabble fool you. That does not actually work. Admittedly, it has only happened once, but I once saw a car with its alarm going off, while it was on a trailer hitch, being towed.
Rip Kelly Preston
Welcome back, Cami, you stunning, beautiful woman. 🤭🥰🥰😘 xxxxx
Great movie, same director as Ghostbusters.
I would like to recommend you another of the duo's comedies, "Junior". It puts both in very different roles and is extremely entertaining and emotional.
80s movies loved to show cars driving on 2 wheels. You never see that anymore.
Hi Cami ♥😘😍
Thanks for your choice !!!

Movie of Arnold too not included in my list ...
Thanks for it..😎
Another 1988 Swarzenegger movie RED HEAT.
very very sad Kelly Preston died a few years ago, John Travolta's wife. I thought she was great in this film
You should check out. A movie from 1990 about real identical twin brothers
Ron and reg. Kray. Identical twin boxers and gangsters who ruled London's underworld in the 60s. Its a true story,
The krays. (1990). Starring gary and Martin Kemp,
If you enjoy Danny DeVito...check out 'Throw Momma From the Train'!
Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny De Vito are working on a sequel to this classic movie. It's going to be called TRIPLETS. 🙂
14:38 Alpine car audio made some of the best car security systems back in 1988 you would also get a Alpine pager with the security system. Alpine also made lots of various accessories to go with the car security systems. To have top of line Alpine security system with all the extra accessories would have cost $1,400.00 back in 1988. Alpine stop making car security systems back in the late 1990s.
Love this movie
If you like Arnold, You really, really need to see True Lies. It's the best action/adventure movie I've ever seen. Well, in my opinion anyway.
17:47 "'According to our files, his mother did not die... during birth.'"
"She's not dead."
This part doesn't make sense to me. "His mother refuses to provide for him, therefore the _state_ has no authority to provide for him?" So if his mother _did_ opt to provide for him, the state would _also_ have that authority? Either one gets the support of both or one gets the support of _neither?_ Is that what they're saying?
No, they're saying that they only support orphans -- i.e. children whose parents have died.
@@bigdream_dreambig But that means parents who are still _alive,_ but total _deadbeats_ who don't actually provide _support_ have a second way to hang their kids out to _dry._
"Sorry, kid. We would be able to help you if your parents were dead, but because they're still alive, but not interested in supporting you, we can't support you, either. Your situation is more about _them_ than about _you."_
Where are the organizations that support _abandoned_ children?
YES, please watch Running Man which is underrated.
Cami is so gorgeous. Easily the best looking on popcorn roulette. And all the women on this channel are beautiful
Seems I got the crap of my parents. I know the feeling, Vincent.
Classic film
Eddie Murphy is the the third kid.
Supposedly. "Triplets" was supposed to be directed by Ivan Reitman, but he sadly passed away in 2022.
Please No!!!!
@@molasorrosalom4846 Why?
@@MrBoyYankeeTwins is a classic. It shouldn't be messed with. Plus, Kelly Preston is dead.
Also, they literally showed her giving birth to Twins, not triplets.
Kindergarden Cop . Also a different type of movie storyline.
another movie with the 2 of them together is Junior very funny movie too
Now you should watch Kindergarten Cop - which is perfect for this channel.
Dang you cut so man good scenes between Arnold and Kelly Preston. that's sad
Now, watch Arnold Schwarzenegger again in Eraser, Kindergarten Cop, The Running Man & True Lies. More awesome movies for you.
I don't know about Eraser. Running man is more like a B-level, Sci-fi action movie.
You should also react to movie "JUNIOR" starring Danny devito and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
I like nuked food. If you haven't watched Arnie in True Lies, that's another good one.
Weird DNA Facts: Memories, likes, dislikes may be handed down by your mom in her DNA. Proof? Scientists trained a rat hate lemon. Her babies hated lemon. Her grand babies also hated lemons. Weird, huh?
1986 RAW DEAL.
How can bulls*** walk? 😀
Check out Red Sonja
You gonna watch Junior?
Next? Please watch _Junior,_ starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Danny DeVito & Dame Emma Thompson.
The main bad guy in this, Marshall Bell, was a good guy in _Total Recall,_ and also had significant roles in _Stand by Me_ and _Starship Troopers._
One of the minor bad guys, Maury Chaykin, was in _Dances with Wolves_ and _War Games._
nah

Now Cami has to see Junior. 🚼👶
Arnie isn't a good actor, just ok. He's very passable in action and had a lucky hand in that most of his action movies were superb or better. He is surprisingly good at comedy and I would say that he is better in comedy than action. Twins is certainly one of his stronger comedies, but his other ones are still good. And like I said he more than very passable in comedies, sometimes he's ingenious, like when he declassed Jacky Chan in comedy in the (mediocre over all, sadly) 80 days around the world.
Comedy and Action. I don't know about Drama movies though, or serious ones.
Except the director of "Red Heat," gave him a chance, he was pretty serious in that role
Maybe dozens of reactor go by, but they all disappear from view, yet I only subscribe for Cami. 😋🦩🦩🦩
