  • It's very IMPORTANT to know the SKIN TYPE of your face because it makes choosing your products and formulating your skin care regimen easier.
Your skin type will also guide you when it comes to proper application of products and treatments for your skin.
In this video, we will try to determine what your SKIN TYPE is and I will also talk about each of them in detail and give some recommendations.
Everything in this video serves to educate and give information about anything related to skin and skincare and shall in no way take the place of a proper consultation with an expert such as a board-certified dermatologist.

Anna Patricia Padillon oh there are a lot of skin brightening products available OTC. Niacinamide, kojic acid, arbutin. You just have to find ung hiyang sayo. Having said that, flat acne scars fade naman with time, even if you dont do anything about it, un nga lng minsan matagal.
With regards to RF machines, they are usually indicated for lifting, tightening and improving circulation but not for scars (unless its the fractionated one). Also, the ones for home use have low energy compared to the ones we have in the clinic.

Hello! for oily skin its important to exfoliate 1-2x a week either with a physical exfoliant (eg. gentle scrubs) or a chemical exfoliant (eg. AHAs and BHAs) and to double cleanse at least once a day in the evening to make sure that all the oil, dirt, debris and dead skin cells are efficiently removed from your skin. These will ensure that there is no buildup which usually leads to breakout.
Ingredients that help control oil include salicylic acid, niacinamide and retinoids.
