Depression can work a certain way for people like him. Someone isnt necessarily sad 24/7 or walking around crying all the time. Someone like him could have been in a great mood playing/ joking around all earlier that day and then gotten into a fight with his wife that night and his mood completely shift to hopeless thoughts. Im not saying thats what happened, but moods can shift that drastically literally from moment to moment with people who battle serious depression. Thats why its so shocking when someone who is usually so funny or seems to have so much life can make that decision because most people wont see it coming
Incredible that it’s 2022 and here we are looking back a Nirvana interview made in good old 1991. 1991 is a nostalgic year. If I could only relive it. Always wondered what things would have been like had Cobain had lived and gone on to rock each decade like the Stones.
@@SleezyWeezel no it’s not, it was broadcasted in 1994 yes, but the interview is from 1991. literally do a minute of research before correcting Someone🤓

So They were capable to make entertainmnent with all the subject who are at the core of our Republics. This is like the Renaissance with the precious ease of the high potential.
Nirvana always gave great interviews. I think the sudden fame overwhelmed Kurt. he seemed to be a simple guy who loved to play music, but couldn't handle the fame. he said he wanted to be famous but I don't think he was prepared for it. he seemed happier before Nirvana got really successful. sad that he couldn't get help with his depression and drug addiction, but I don't think he wanted help anyway. he was very smart and talented but seemed to be in denial of his problems at the time
@@jeffsoriginalcomedy Maybe, maybe not. He was clearly depressed and unhappy before he met her. I am just guessing though. I don't think Courtney was exactly the best choice for a wife for Kurt and she enabled him, for sure. they both did drugs. but I don't think all the blame can be put on her. she didn't cause his depression or his mental health problems, but she wasn't a good influence on him and he probably felt alone even with the family he had
@@ashleyphillips5477 I don't think you know very much about Kurt or Courtney. Did you watch the interview with her foster parents? Did you hear what they said about what she wrote in her diary when she was 13 years old? She is a snake, she leached herself on to Kurt, and sent him spiraling downward while she did exactly what she said she was going to do in that diary. No one has done more research on the subject than me, I know all sorts of things about the case and both of these people. I can assure you Courtney was the end of Kurt in more ways than one. She is pure evil, connected to the Hollywood elite, and would do anything for fame. Find out the whole story before you make any guesses. I doubt you'll be able to listen to the interview with her own foster parents and still believe in what you have said.
@@jeffsoriginalcomedy No, I have not seen that interview yet but I will check it out. you have made some good points, Courtney wasn't a good influence on him. it's sad what happened
@@ashleyphillips5477 it's pretty frightening. I believe their interview is also included in the documentary Kurt and Courtney. Also in that same documentary there is another punk rock musician from fairly unknown band, he was a real dirtbag drug dealing scumbag type of guy. In his interview he openly admits that Courtney Love offered him $50,000 to kill Kurt and the only reason he didn't take it was because he didn't think she was serious and he was going on tour with his shitty band. The dude was a psychopath and would have clearly killed for money, but he just didn't take her seriously and didn't take the job. Well he's giving that interview you can hear a girl crying for help in the background quietly. Turns out he had kidnapped a couple girls and they were actually locked in his shed while he was doing that interview. After giving that public interview, he mysteriously died on the railroad tracks by his house that he had lived at for 20 years. Apparently he took heroin and fell asleep on the railroad tracks and got hit by the train. Sounds believable right? There's many good documentaries out there that include the interviews with Courtney's Foster parents. Once you hear what they have to say, there is no longer any doubt about what really happened and who was responsible. Did she do it herself? No. She was fucking everybody in the music industry and in hollywood, and the Hollywood goons were hired to take care of Kurt. Courtney was a very messed up girl especially at that time, and she was about to become one of the richest women in the world and completely take control of the Nirvana catalog which she held over the remaining members of the band. Hence all the lawsuits between her and Dave Grohl. People will do anything for money and fame. They might even write about their plans in a diary when they were 13.
He wasn’t poor while he was in Nirvana either. Don’t kid yourself, they claimed to be “anti establishment” and hate “rich rock stars” but they were millionaires as well and became everything that they hated.
BIGxBOSSxx1 How do you figure? As soon as the money started rolling in, the first thing Kurt Cobain did was buy a huge house in an upscale area of Seattle. It was for sale about a year ago and they were asking $7.5 million for it. It’s safe to say Kurt wasn’t living inside a log cabin. They can do as they please with their money, it’s no ones business, as they earned it through their hard work. my issue is the fact that they talked as if they were poor living off food stamps (which naive fans believed) meanwhile they were living in mansions and had substantial amounts of cash in the bank.
Good point. Also the focus on the Smells Like Teen Spirit video clearly indicates that interview was an early one, right when Nirvana exploded. I happened to see them 30 years ago on September 22, 1990 in Seattle at the International Motor Sports Garage with the Melvins and the Dwarves. I didn't even know who Nirvana was.. My how time flies.
Stop the Philosophical Zombies awesome! I seen them in Newcastle riverside with Tad and Mudhoney. I loved the early days. After 91 curt became a parody of anarchic music tho. It was excruciating to watch.
@@ahippy8972 What do you mean? He had grown past the music and was bored? (I guess he even said as much in Serve the Servants) When I saw them it was pure energy and youthful joy/anger. You can find clips of that show on YT. It was the last time they played without Grohl.
Stop the Philosophical Zombies where on earth did you see that bit of fake news? Please send some links. They were still writing but his addiction was disabling by that point. It was 91. Google the name of the show this interview is from . Nirvana had not released like at the muddy banks of the Whiska inutero etal et al

And dont even bring up Sound City!!!!!!!!! Okay fanrant over.
@@otakuholly8885 alright girl don’t get your nickers in a twist!! I’m not denying he hasn’t done other good work.. just wouldn’t personally listen to anything other than the first 2 of his foo fighters albums. You’re absolutely delusional if you think he hasn’t sold out though. He’s hollywoods rock darling now and Kurt would be rolling in his grave if he were in one. He’s everything Nirvana stood against.. the mainstream. And this new movie he’s in just hammers the fact in more with this 666 thing he’s helping push. The sell your soul system.. For you to even mention that satanic crap shows your ignorance and total compliance. You still probably believe Kurt did kill himself and Courtney’s a lil Angel even with all the evidence available. Dave is just another talented but certainly bought and paid for actor pushing an agenda so obvious only dummies can’t see it!! What a fantard 😂
If Kurt were alive today, I think he would be really uncomfortable with the fact that clothing companies are selling shirts with Nirvana's name on them.

He wanted to be a songwriter. He expressed wanting longevity with his music career and I think fronting was too stressful and detrimental to his health. It’s obvious in this interview how Dave stands out and Kurt shrinks back. He was about to derail the cash train.
@@Maddox209 grunge is a relatively simple form of rock music. The solos are not long and the singer does not need to be the best. So here we go. Nirvanas Nevermind was an international breakthrough because the melodies were quite simple but catchy. Cobains voice catched a certain audience especially younger people. But that guy had massive drug problems and finally the media cared more about Cobain and his private problems and not the music.
Me too. He was such a smart guy, but I think he had so many problems from the beginning, and the wrong people around him to help him. his life was probably always going to end how it did

Incredible that it’s 2022 and here we are looking back a Nirvana interview made in good old 1991. 1991 is a nostalgic year. If I could only relive it. Always wondered what things would have been like had Cobain had lived and gone on to rock each decade like the Stones.
Yeah totally man, imagine if “grunge” never died.
This was from 1994
@@SleezyWeezel no it’s not, it was broadcasted in 1994 yes, but the interview is from 1991. literally do a minute of research before correcting Someone🤓
@@killelmo yeah whatever my bad but go off and be an aggressive and insufferable dork i guess
@@SleezyWeezel bro how was that aggressive and insufferable 😭 i didn’t threaten you or anything, I didn’t even curse. I rlly don’t care if I sound like a dork you were just correcting someone for like no reason.
So They were capable to make entertainmnent with all the subject who are at the core of our Republics. This is like the Renaissance with the precious ease of the high potential.
Cobain saying “¡gracias!” in Italy 😆 Like people saying “I can speak a little Spanish” when I say I’m Brazilian lol
That is priceless. Kurt was the man.
First time I’ve seen them take an interview seriously
Kurt was so strong and healthy back in 1991. look at his neck!
Not quite like Coreys 😂
Nirvana always gave great interviews. I think the sudden fame overwhelmed Kurt. he seemed to be a simple guy who loved to play music, but couldn't handle the fame. he said he wanted to be famous but I don't think he was prepared for it. he seemed happier before Nirvana got really successful. sad that he couldn't get help with his depression and drug addiction, but I don't think he wanted help anyway. he was very smart and talented but seemed to be in denial of his problems at the time
The problem was his evil wife , it all went down hill as soon as she attached herself to Kurt like a leach .
Is this borat conducting interview? Very niiiiiiice
No just your real grandpa
The irony in Dave Grohl saying that wealth angers him...look at him now. Net worth of $320 million.
yeah, all made working ;)
Cory Paul shut up
He wasn’t poor while he was in Nirvana either. Don’t kid yourself, they claimed to be “anti establishment” and hate “rich rock stars” but they were millionaires as well and became everything that they hated.
Andrew Machado yeah they were rich but they weren’t materialistic.
BIGxBOSSxx1
How do you figure? As soon as the money started rolling in, the first thing Kurt Cobain did was buy a huge house in an upscale area of Seattle. It was for sale about a year ago and they were asking $7.5 million for it. It’s safe to say Kurt wasn’t living inside a log cabin.
They can do as they please with their money, it’s no ones business, as they earned it through their hard work. my issue is the fact that they talked as if they were poor living off food stamps (which naive fans believed) meanwhile they were living in mansions and had substantial amounts of cash in the bank.
The live stuff is Rome 94 but the interview is clearly from late 91. By 93 Krist & Dave had short hair & Kurt didn't look like that in 94 either.
The thumb looks more like '88..he's not as thin there as he got later with the drug habit..
This jsut got recommended to everyone lol
YT is recommending lots of this videos on this channel, so I'm no at around two Million views each month.
Dave Grohl said he's against wealth, now he's one of the richest musicians on earth, lol.
Total sell out hypocrite! Love his drumming but don’t like much of the foos. First 2 albums that’s it. When he says wealth here I get the feeling he’s only playing a part to fit in with Kurt n kris.. He’s turned into everything Nirvana we’re against now. Still one of the best drummers but 💯 an actor.
@@arthurcox3030 not quite, he has done majorly cool other work, i prefer the colour and the shape above everything theyve done, but to dismiss the rest? go listen to "learn to fly" again (or "Rope", or "Razor"), great song(s). I also like that he does charity work, cool side projects (Probot?!!!!!) has toured endlessly and has a great sense of humor, Studio 666 is such a good goofy movie as well.
@@arthurcox3030 no. He is a world class musician, he isn’t gonna throw every dime to the wind. The real world hits hard bud
he was always a fucking fake
The interviewer sounds just like Sacha Baron Cohen
We like!!
If Kurt were alive today, I think he would be really uncomfortable with the fact that clothing companies are selling shirts with Nirvana's name on them.
He seemed fine with companies, and their merch booths, selling them when he was alive but ...
They do it so much, that a lot of people think Nirvana is a clothing brand 😬
@@Leon-Coils19912 That is true
I think your a moron and wrong
I doubt it, given the fact Nirvana tshirts were sold at their shows while he was still alive😆
Krist, not inhaling the cigg 😆, its all about the look!
My buddy smokes cigarettes like that but it's because take power drags
Nirvana kicked ass on stage!
wow, that’s cool that they played Smells Like Teen Spirit for the people in Rome
I love the medical diagnoses people try to give based on watching an interview.. oh he looked so saaayadd, i can tell he hayyted those guys, his eyes are sooo full off mefadoneeee... geez louise guys, this interview wasn't even near the end and yall still see what you want to see

@@ashleyphillips5477 whatever it is, it's weird
2:33 😆 Kurt just goes along lol!
Borat interviewing Nirvana.
3:39 Look, Kurt was wearing one of those funny Billy Corgan's blouse.
eternamente Kurt Cobain ! ele e um gênio uma pessoa especial
He wanted to be a songwriter. He expressed wanting longevity with his music career and I think fronting was too stressful and detrimental to his health. It’s obvious in this interview how Dave stands out and Kurt shrinks back. He was about to derail the cash train.
Foo Fighters suck
@@joshuasmith6346 sold millions of million albums something you will never do in your pathetic life 😂🤡

Hey Borat is that you?
I post this every time I watch a Nirvana vid , Kurt Cobain was sooo pretty ❤️❤️
Dave rebeling against "Wealth". It’d be interesting to go back in time and show them his clip from the new Bill and Ted movie.
I think Kurt meant to say Grazie at the beginning of the set :)

He said in Spanish lol
Grazie per aver condiviso!
Yeah, just by looking at Krist you can tell it’s 1991
This dude sounds like Borat

Rip Kurt Cobain amen
Never fade Kurt Donald Cobain..
He was such a junkie. An addicted guy who was such an average guitar player.
@@konheeedyou're not so good either. What a surprise!
@@Maddox209 Joe satriani is best
@@konheeed thats a separate genre from grunge lol
@@Maddox209 grunge is a relatively simple form of rock music. The solos are not long and the singer does not need to be the best. So here we go.
Nirvanas Nevermind was an international breakthrough because the melodies were quite simple but catchy. Cobains voice catched a certain audience especially younger people.
But that guy had massive drug problems and finally the media cared more about Cobain and his private problems and not the music.
I thought I've had seen all their interviews... But first time I see this
BORAT interviews nirvana
I thought the same 🤣
Dave never really had any social causes or concerns he just blurted something out to try and fit in
I was there ❤️
You are a legend
What are the things... That make your anger.. Explude

I wish things would have worked out differently for Kurt.
me too
Me too. He was such a smart guy, but I think he had so many problems from the beginning, and the wrong people around him to help him. his life was probably always going to end how it did
It was destiny - i treasure the moments he gave in his short life.
i wish different wife for kurt
He overdosed over and over before his suicide he had a death wish I wish it would have worked out differently, though
When Dave said 'wealth'. Huuuurrr
It´s funny to see Dave being so shy 😆By the way, Kurt mixed up languages, saying "gracias" 😅
I caught that lol 😂
