The Cambodian Cultural Park near the giant ferris wheel is well worth a visit. Allow at least 2 hours to see the galleries and the very fun park.

Very nice video but I would disagree about the price of food. I find most restaurants and especially street food vendors to be some of the lowest priced in Asia. While Pub Street is more expensive if you venture out a few blocks away the prices are very affordable.

They sell those birds and turtles to be released for good luck and fortune extra. It is a belief in Buddhism.

@@OlaLily you release the birds there and the turtles you can release at the nearest lakes or pond. Capturing the birds might be a little cruel in which they set a sticky glue substance for the birds to land on. and there might be a few other techniques. nevertheless a good number of people are not fans of capture and releasing the birds, Folks that are doing are heavily depended on the trade to support their livelihood. hopefully it will change for the better.

We got scammed, and one of my friends lost her wallet in a club on Pub Street. We tried to ask them help to recheck the CCTV but they are didn’t help and just ignored us
for the food, everything they recommended in the restaurant was Thai food-nothing special, and some time the prices were unreasonable.
I first visited Siem Reap in 2002 and lived here from 2011 to Covid early 2020. And amazing town and I got to know so many locals.
The Siem Reap museum is new and 3 times the price of the big museum in Phom Penh which I’ve visited 4 times.
Pub Street is fantastic I would often sit in a restaurant have a 50cent beer and do some sketching…I’m an artist.
I liked your walk around great to see the places I know so well. I went to the movies a lot, just $1.50 for seniors and plenty of Western movies playing….just done from pub street near the river.
