Wow you guy I hope you enjoy the visit in Siem Reap Angkor Watt. Have fun and be safe Sarah and Seunghyun. I'm from Cambodia but I living in Canada over 42 years now and I thank you for sharing your Video, good luck guy.💖💖💖😍😍😍😘😘😘
You know what, I love that sticky baby corn too. I ate them everyday when I was there in January 2024. They are that good, love Siem Reap, can never get tired going there.
Not in a thousand years would I have thought of rats as lovable. Your video may have changed my bias toward them. They are so friendly and BIG!! Thanks for such an interesting vlog, loved it!❤❤
They were such smart, curious creatures! We weren't expecting them to be so gentle - we were so lucky to have a chance to meet them. Now we're thinking about maybe getting our own pet rats 😁 As always, thank you for watching and so glad you enjoyed the video 💕
@@twobetweenIf you ever get a rat (especially if it is an African Pouch Rat), please make a short video of it!😊. BTW, I know that you have finished your 23 country itinerary but I am wondering if you guys are still planning to travel again in 2024? No need to respond if I am intruding but I know your videos will be coming to an end soon so I am trying to avoid any withdrawal effects lol😂
@@johnlarc5532 Sadly, we aren't planning any major trips in 2024 except to visit family in Korea, but since we post so slowly, I think it will take the rest of the year to post all our 23 country content😅And no worries about intruding, we're happy to share and appreciate all your support😊

First of all, WELCOME TO CAMBODIA THE KINGDOM OF WONDER. I really want to see how expensive or cheap it is in cambodia. So, can you do the budget breakdown of cambodia? if you can. I hope you enjoy the Khmer New Year, too. have fun and stay safe.
Hey so sorry we missed this comment earlier! We sadly won't have the time to do a whole budget breakdown video, but we're happy to share a ballpark of what things cost when we visited: - Hotels: $20-30 per night - Meals: $2-4 each per person, $0.50-2 per drink - Transportation: $1.50-3 to get across town via tuktuk - Angkor Wat: $37 per person for 1 day pass, $20 for all-day tuktuk driver including sunrise - Other activities: $5-10 i.e. museums, massages, etc - Visa: $30 per person on arrival (apparently they sometimes charge an extra 'stamp' fee but we didn't get charged) Our final total for 5 days was $405 with about $100 of that being just Angkor Wat tickets/driver... So roughly $80 per day/$40 per person (without Angkor Wat would be about $60 per day/$30 per person)
We were just saying the other day how we hadn't seen your comments in a little while, so we're glad to hear from you! Hope you're doing well and thank you for watching 😊
Welcome to ancient Khmer kingdom! I extend my love to people like you who love peace, equality and harmony, people who respect the unique culture and the rise and fall of ancient Khmer. Greetings and welcome to visit my hometown in Mekong delta, Vietnam - home to Native Khmer here.
We appreciate the kind words and warm welcome 😊We visited the Mekong Delta in Vietnam on our honeymoon about six years ago and spent some time touring a few villages there. Thank you for watching!
You messed up the amok dish. We usually scooped the amok and placed it on top of the rice one scoop at a time. If you mixed it up all at once, it tends to get mushy and less flavorful. I wish I found a big rat like those landmine rats when I lived in Srok Khmer and Thailand... 😀
this is cambodia most people wearing jacket not because it's hot or cold it's because they are using some kind of body lotion that can change their skin color to white skin
Loved the segment on rats! Ladies, don't wear short shorts. Wear longer shorts or culottes, skirts, etc. This is a conservative culture. I traveled thru se asia for 9 months and only wore shorts when I went for a run.
Glad you enjoyed! Not sure when you visited Siem Reap, but there were many local and foreign women wearing short shorts and skirts when we were there. We dress based on how others are dressed, and this city was very shorts-filled 😆 but we wholeheartedly agree for more conservative parts of SEA (and of course for visiting temples). We would suggest to pack both and choose outfits based on what others are wearing around you~ each country and city in SEA has its own vibe and the dress code varies 😊
@@debrak3594 we agree conservative is.a good way to go to be safe and respectful. We hope you enjoyed your trip around SEA - 9 months probably gave a lot of great time to explore :)

Yup… but light clothing gets stained too easily, so because we travel full time w/ only a small pack, we choose dark clothing to avoid having to wastefully buy new clothing as often as we would need to if we wore light colors. But at 36+ degrees with high humidity, it still feels hot regardless 😆

Angkor(UN-Go) is the correct pronunciation
The Khmer people just got tired of correcting the tourist pronunciation of their country
Thank you for letting us know! We read about this earlier but since we have a global audience of mostly English speakers, we use the anglicized pronunciations for famous places. We do the same with our own country's cities too (i.e. Seoul is not pronounced 'soul' in Korean, but we say it that way to non-Koreans since it is more easily understood 😊)
Fish Amok again, Khmer cuisine has so much more to offer than "FISH AMOK!!!" ...
Which dish would you recommend for first time visitors? We always try to taste the most ‘famous’ foods in our first days in a new country so felt like fish amok was a natural choice (plus, it was really tasty, so we’re glad we tried it first 😊)
the man was a policeman going to work
lol yup, the white drunk policeman 😂
Hanoi mines not Khmer Rouge
I drained out my bank account by going to Thailand and spend 8 weeks there
Folks who wear BLACK colors in a hot climate are cooking themselves 10 centigrade degrees higher than white/light colored clothes.
